We adored our stay at Art Hotel! You could tell the owners really cared about ensuring you had a great stay. We happened to be there on Swiss National Day and attended their prix fixe dinner to celebrate, it was incredible! The employees and owners go above and beyond to make sure you are enjoying your time. You can tell they are very passionate about the property and what they do :) The rooftop is stunning and the rooms have lovely character but are also pristine and clean.

This hotel is absolutely amazing. The rooftop is stunning for drinks and views, or a peaceful sunbathe with views of the alps, palm trees and the lake all within viewpoint. Our room was Devine although it sounds like by reviews there aren’t bad rooms. We had two bathrooms which was by no means necessary, but quite nice to have the luxury of having my own room for makeup and getting ready. They also have jazz nights twice a week (I think Friday and Saturday) and that was sooooo magical. Even if you don’t attend the dinner just leaving your door open and letting the music come in. I don’t remember the food situation. We didn’t think they had food but then one day my fiancée ordered the most beautiful “pre lunch” I’ve ever seen! We extended our stay a night. And then extended another night. It is 2-3 blocks from the water- so convenient. This place is so magical you won’t want to leave.

The aesthetics of the hotel are fantastic - a visual pleasure at every turn. Staff were lovely, breakfast was huge and delicious, and it was super conveniently located. We didn’t have a car but got around fine by bus, walking, boat and taxi. Definitely want to go back to this delightful town and hotel.

We spent 3 nights here as a family in the garden apartment. This hotel is a real gem. It's unique with very stylish interior design. We had 1.5 baths, 1 bedroom, and the children slept in the living room. We also had a small kitchenette. Our garden had some comfy chairs for lounging. But the real beauty is the rooftop with the cabanas and pool. There is one cabana in particular that is like being on the inside of a ship. My kids loved it! We ate dinner one night on the rooftop and had a lovely time, even though the servers mixed up our meal a little. Breakfasts are also great. Only bad thing - there are SO MANY MOSQUITOES. Bring some bug spray. It made us not want to sit outside as much as I would have liked. oh, and there are a lot of steps to the room (no elevator) so be prepared to carry up your luggage!

Schönes und ruhiges Zimmer, hervorragendes Essen und Trinken und sehr aufmerksame Bedienung. Ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt im Hotel Riposo. Wunderschöne Dachterrasse mit Blick über Ascona . Wir haben alles sehr genossen. Wir kommen wieder!

Meine Familie und ich kommen schon seit zwei Jahrzehnten ins Riposo und werden dies sicherlich mindestens nochmal so lange tun. Es wird auf jedes Detail geachtet, das Hotel ist familiär und sehr hochwertig, selten soviel Qualität erlebt. Selbst alleinreisend mit zwei Hunden kann man sich dort super erholen und entspannen. Die Dachterrasse ist ein Traum, die Zimmer sehr großräumig und liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Personal und die Inhaberfamilie sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Und das Essen ein Gedicht, vom Frühstücksbuffet über die Mittagskarte zum Abendessen muss man das Hotel kein einziges Mal verlassen. Für deutsche Verhältnisse ist es zwar nicht ganz günstig - so wie die Schweiz allgemein und Ascona besonders, aber jeden Cent wert. Wer über dieses Haus schlechte Rezessionen schreibt, sollte sich lieber selbst hinterfragen.

Zum zweiten Mal besuchten wir das romantische Art Hotel Riposo mit Freunden. Bereits beim Betreten des mit Glyzinien berankten Innenhofs wird klar, dass dieses romantische Hotel etwas ganz Besonderes ist. Ein kleines Juwel nur wenige Schritte von der Piazza in Ascona entfernt mit wunderschöner Blumenpracht. Die Zimmer mit Bad sind im mediterranen Stil komfortabel eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Die wunderbare Dachterrasse mit atemberaubendem Blick auf die Berge, den See und über die Dächer von Ascona lädt zu jeder Tageszeit zum Verweilen ein. Sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter. Sehr schönes und reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet. Die Zufahrt zum Hotel und die Garageneinfahrt sind sehr eng, ist aber auch mit einem grossen Auto gut zu bewältigen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Das Riposo ist einfach eine Oase. Viel Liebe zum Detail und mit einer Blumenpracht die einzigartig ist. Zimmer wunderbar und sehr sauber. Das Personal an der Rezeption, Jessica vom Frühstück und auch dem Chef verteilen wir 5 Sterne. Qualität beim Frühstück grossartig und liess keine Wünsche offen. Für die traumhafte Dachterrasse und den Pool kommen wir gerne wieder.
