Blown away by the beauty, the views, the food, the friendly staff and romantic atmosphere. 10 minutes taxi to beautiful and charming Assissi. Came for a friend’s wedding and it was nothing short of magical.

Overall the venue was beautiful. The beds were not very comfortable and the dinner menu was limited. The 20 min ride into town on a winding road, made it almost impossible to travel at night to enjoy the town or have dinner.

We had the most spectacular wedding. All staff were so helpful and always happy to assist in any requests. The food and planning of our event was excellent. The rooms were of a high standard and gave us the accommodation we needed. There were little extras offered that made our stay even more comfortable. We would highly recommend Castello Di Petrata.

A place of absolute peace and relaxation. Impeccable service and a timeless atmosphere. The rooms are of high quality, even though the building is somewhat older. Definitely well renovated and well-maintained. We spent three unforgettable days. Absolutely recommended for those who love tranquility.

As other reviewers have mentioned I can't fault the location, amenities in the main building etc We came for a wedding where all normal rooms were booked so went for the glamping. To me this would essentially be a hotel room in a tent however we had a bed, 1 chair and a clothes rail. The walls had mould/dirt on them although from looking inside some of the others, ours seemed to be one of the better ones. The mesh was ripped so had plenty of insect friends stay the night with us and when it rained there would be a nice puddle inside the tent. I also noticed we had lower quality towels compared to the people staying inside. When we raised these issues with reception, we were told we wouldn't have to pay for the tent portion however the bride and groom would have to cover it so just ended up paying full price. I could have brought my own tent and air bed and had a similar experience for a lot less money.

This is a beautiful wedding venue, and the staff are excellent! The food and activities were excellent. The rooms are unique and beautiful. The view of the countryside is the best!

The wedding went very well. The service was good. Would like to have seen drinks a little cheeper and the lunch menu with more options.
