"This is a very central hotel in the old town, directly opposite the Roman Temple in Piazza del Popolo and within walking distance of all Assisi attractions. A taxi from the train station to the hotel costs 20 euros. The room is in a more traditional Italian style, with average facilities and not many breakfast varieties, but it is enough. It’s not bad to have such conditions in a small town! The store owner and employees are very friendly, but they don't speak English. They can understand both speaking and writing if needed. The most convenient thing is that you can help call a taxi."

"We were welcomed by the owner of the building, with great kindness and absolute willingness, even before we arrived in Assisi. And even during the stay he has always been careful to our needs and has given us excellent advice. It is located in front of San Rufino, a beautiful area of the city, it is very comfortable with the bus stop in Matteotti Square (for example for those who arrive at the train station of Assisi). There is no breakfast service, but in a few minutes you will reach a bar/pasta with a wide choice of sweet/salate, always properly recommended by Mr Carli."

"This is a wonderfully isolated property; quiet, restful and with amazing staff. Despite the isolatoin it is well situated for exploring Assisi and the suronding towns. The photographs capture the unique beuty of this place. The restaurant offers some of the best food I've had. For a basis we travel to Italy every spring. The excellence of service. The restauant manager takes great pride in the food and service. Nearly all the food is locally sourced. The only challenge with the property is getting there. The last mile into the property is an improved but rutted dirt road. We were in sports car and could not drive the final mile into the property. The staff generously would drive us to and from a parking lot below the town of Armenzano. The owner informed us that they are improving the road this month (May 2024)"

"Room - Very small. Bed was comfortable. TV had a couple English channels. Bathroom - Came with shampoo, soap bars, and shower caps. Lots of lights and plug ins Breakfast - Not a great breakfast. We stayed at 5 hotels this Pilgrimage, this breakfast was the lowest."
