BV Grand Hotel Assisi ★★★★
"Clean rooms a little run down"
Hotel Fontebella ★★★★
"Close to the Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi. The upper city is narrow and slightly steep. Breakfast is also decent."
Hotel Mom Assisi ★★
"On the occasion of a quick stop in Assisi I opted for this solution and I found myself very well. As soon as I arrived the friendly owner welcomed me making me feel at home and providing me with useful advice on how to best organize my short stay. The room assigned was clean, spacious and welcoming overlooking the train station square. Breakfast, served on the ground floor, offered excellent homemade cakes and a small savory corner. Thanks again Mrs. Flor, I will definitely be back!"
Nun Assisi Relais & Spa Museum ★★★★★
"What a fabulous hotel! It’s really high end (with prices to match) and definitely worth it. It’s an immaculate property, and the staff is incredible. Everyone was so helpful and kind. I did a few dumb things like leave my window open when I went out and rain streamed in. This was 7 p.m. and housekeeping was on it! They did turn-down service. Some biscotti await in the room. Breakfast was wonderful. Really, they had everything from fresh pastries to charcuterie to eggs, smoked salmon etc. to order. As for the spa, I’d go just for that. It’s built into the old Roman amphitheater and has all the Roman bath circuits plus a massive bath/pool with one end as a whirlpool and also waterfall jets. Places to relax, tea. I spent hours there. My room, 15, had lovely views. The bathroom was cramped. A small shower, no bidet. And there was noise from the bar (but a hallway door that could be shut). Overall, just a wonderful experience."
TH Assisi - Hotel Cenacolo ★★★★
"The Wi-Fi speed wasn't very good. The roaming connection inside the hotel wasn't great either. You can get to Assisi directly by taking a 2-euro bus. All the staff were very friendly. They gave us a spacious room, which was comfortable. I liked the peaceful atmosphere of the countryside village. The breakfast was simple, but I appreciated that they made the scrambled eggs fresh for us. The cappuccino they made was the best!"
Giotto Hotel & Spa ★★★★
"Clean and convenient accommodation. The location was great, and the view was especially good. The breakfast was also excellent."
Dal Moro Gallery Hotel ★★★★
"Beautiful property 5 minutes drive from Assisi. The room was very comfortable, bed very comfortable and spacious. Very friendly staff, no negative comments. The structure is completed by a very appreciable restaurant. Also recommended for the location"
Borgo Antichi Orti Assisi ★★★★
"Pretty place. Nice people. But in our opinion poor value for the price charged. Rooms a little more basic than appear in the pictures. A major feature is the pool, but this was “out of action” when we stayed - with no prior warning or offer to reduce our bill. On the plus side, the restaurant attached (but under separate management) provided us the best meal we have had in years!"
Il Giardino Degli Angeli ★★★★
"Friendly and kind staff, great food, amazing jacuzzi"

Agriturismo Il Giardino Dei Ciliegi
"Beautiful agriturismo, Very friendly staff and delicious Italian breakfast. Easy accessible nearby towns of Assisi, Perugia, Spello and other. Would visit again."
Hotel Da Angelo
"We only had lunch here. The service was quick, and English was spoken. The food was well above average, and the prices are reasonable. The site is easy to access, lots of parking, and lots of seating. They have a good variety of choices, and the food is good. Worth your time…"
Sogno di Davide Country House
Giotto Country House & Spa
"Our stay at Giotto Country House & Spa was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Despite arriving later than planned due to Italian traffic, Angela gave us such a warm and welcoming reception that we immediately felt at ease. The room was incredible—beautifully presented and in a perfect location, making it easy to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Every detail felt thoughtfully put together. The facilities were excellent. We especially loved the breakfast each morning, and the two-hour session in the spa area was a real highlight—so peaceful and rejuvenating. Angela truly went above and beyond during our stay, offering great local recommendations for places to visit and restaurants to try. We ended up returning to some of her suggestions multiple times, which says it all. The location itself is ideal—convenient and easy to get to everything we needed, while still offering a tranquil escape. We would highly recommend Giotto Country House & Spa to anyone visiting the area. We’ll definitely be returning on our next trip!"
Ascesi Resort
"We had a wonderful stay at Ascesi Resort in Assisi. The hotel is beautifully curated, with elegant design and attention to every detail that makes it feel both luxurious and welcoming. The staff were exceptional throughout our visit, warm, professional, and genuinely committed to making our stay memorable. We were delighted to receive an upgrade to a beautiful suite with breathtaking views of the hillside town, which made the experience even more special. Breakfast was another highlight. It was delicious, thoughtfully prepared, and served with genuine charm that made each morning a pleasure. If you’re looking for a stylish, comfortable place to stay in Assisi with outstanding hospitality, Ascesi Resort is an excellent choice. We would happily return and highly recommend it."
Hotel la Terrazza Restaurant & Spa
"You can count on a restful and comfortable stay at La Terrazza after exploring Assisi or the surrounding region. The staff are always responsive and helpful. The breakfast had good choices. La Terrazza will be our choice to stay when we return here. "
Palazzo Sbaraglini
Ripa Relais Colle Del Sole
"A charming place but with many shortcomings, very superficial room cleaning, very poor bathroom cleaning just look at the floor joints, unhygienic carpets because they are known to collect a lot of dust and germs ... very uncomfortable beds, even the singles are camp beds and not beds with really poor quality mattresses, our compliments go to the chef and the young lady in the dining room for dinner, who proved to be the only friendly and professional ones in addition to the truly exceptional dishes served, however breakfast was a disappointment, for two consecutive days it was not possible to have orange juice due to the lack of the latter ..."
Hotel Monastero Sant'Andrea
"The room was very clean and simple, and the surrounding environment was very good. We lived opposite the St. Francis Church, which was only 5 minutes away from the door. The waiters here were especially enthusiastic and attentive, and the service was very thoughtful. They also helped us get a taxi before we left, which was very convenient for us."
Hotel Los Angeles
"I just got back from Santa Maria degli Angeli, a basic but comfortable and clean hotel. Very kind staff, excellent barman and a special mention for the very good Nello, professional, cultured (rare quality!!!), attentive and very nice. A stay truly to recommend."
Hotel Bellavista
"We booked this restaurant for the evening of April 25th. Even though we arrived earlier than the reservation time, they seated us after more than half an hour, not only that: one of the "older" staff came to take our orders when we were about to leave (in the meantime another fifteen minutes had passed). The pizzas were not very topped and were not of excellent quality. The only positive thing to recognize is the professionalism of the younger staff who were always in a hurry to deal with the negligence of their superiors. To solve this problem, it would be enough not to accept reservations in addition to the availability of tables. Too bad because it would be a location with potential!!"
B&B Cantico Delle Creature
"There is parking available. The room facilities are old but clean and tidy, similar to a farmhouse inn. Breakfast includes both free and à la carte options. The landlady is very welcoming."
Hotel Frate Sole
"Breakfast is very rich"
Elide Design Hotel
"It's like a boutique hotel, there's no reception, the first floor is a restaurant, and it seems like a one-night stay for young couples. There's no elevator, and although they can help you with your luggage, you have to climb several stairs every time you go to the store. There's nothing to eat in the breakfast, and it's old and not good quality. Even though the first floor is a restaurant, there's nothing to eat. There's not even a coffee machine. This is not a suitable accommodation for families."
Villa Raffaello Park Hotel
Hotel Windsor Savoia
"Stayed here as part of a pilgrimage tour - and it was just lovely. The very warm Umbrian service, wonderful food served to us, and great facilities make me want to come back by myself soon. Can't recommend too highly - excellent location for the sights of Assisi. "
