The biggest advantage of this apartment hotel is that it is in a good location, located in the city center, walking to the market, monuments, subway stations (40 minutes from Metro Line 3 to the airport), downstairs is full of lively restaurants, super convenient. The room is very large, a family of three and four are no problem, the facilities are complete, you can eat like a home, the hotel provides a variety of breakfasts, overall it is good. The only downside is that the surrounding area is too lively, and the restaurant bar below is noisy until two or three in the morning every day.

Traveling alone, my room is quite compact and I can only say it's OK. The restaurant on the top floor must be booked in advance for dinner, otherwise there will be no seats, so you can only sit there.
In addition, there are restaurants and bars around, which is convenient for exploration. The church and Constitution Square are very close

Stayed here for 4 nights end of Feb/March as a couple. Location: Hotel is in an excellent location directly opposite the Metro within walking distance to Syntagma Square, Monistraki Square and the Acropolis (or you can take the Metro red line and these are within 3 stops which we did). Can also walk to neighbourhoods like Psyri which we did for dinner which was lovely. Omonia Square which is the metro station name is also on the same line as Piraeus which is the port of Athens (well worth a visit to walk around and have food / drinks overlooking Zea Marina or Mikrolimano Harbour. Down the road is Central Market which we experienced on a Sunday night which was cool. 24-7 bakery next door which is more than just a bakery; sandwiches, pizza, ice cream, artisan desserts A couple of late night gyros places if you arrive late including 1 directly next door Supermarkets within a few mins walk Room: We had a comfort room. On check in she offered us an upgrade without seeing the room and told us to have a look at it first. The room was small but clean however the view was awful. Boxed in by 3 derelict walls taller than us so natural light was limited. Housekeeping is lazy - put water in a broken fridge (we fixed ourselves), didn't replace cups or tea/coffee after we had used the, (had to ask reception twice) and on day 3 she took every single towel and didn't replace them. We had 2 single beds (not even put together with 1 sheet to make it like a double). Bathroom needs an upgrade, shower made water go absolutely everywhere and the tiles are very outdated. I would recommend going for a deluxe room (we were offered an extra 12 euros a night for one) and didn't take it but if you like a bit more comfort and a view then it is probably worth it. Breakfast: Great spread, continental breakfast, pastries, yogurt etc. Overall, would recommend (with a deluxe room). Cannot fault the location and moreover Athens is alive every night. Part of the fun was walking from the hotel to dinner (restaurants are absolutely incredible). We walked through some dark streets but honestly nobody even so much as looked at us funny so don't let anyone put you off by mentioning the streets round the back of Omonia Square.

The location of the hotel is very good. There are many cafes and restaurants right next to the Athens commercial street and it is very convenient. The supermarket is also very close. The hotel room is clean and the service is good. Especially the breakfast is extremely rich and delicious. The breakfast location overlooks the Acropolis and the scenery is unparalleled. I took the last room available, a single room, and was not looking forward to a small room but very pleasantly surprised. The room was compact but very nicely furnished. These rooms have been modernised recently and was absolutely perfect for my needs for a one-night stay in Athens. Excellent shower and air conditioning. I slept very well, the only negative comment would be that I was woken very early by the noise of staff getting breakfast ready. The hotel is quietly situated in a side street very close to the Acropolis entrance and just a short walk down the hill from the city centre tour bus drop off. It's also just a few minutes walk from the Acropolis metro stop. The roof terrace has beautiful views and you can buy a drink from the downstairs bar and take it up to the roof. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful and I would definitely recommend Acropolis View Hotel for single travellers.

The experience was great! The hotel is very centrally located, 5-10 minutes away from the Acropolis and the museum, and very friendly! The hotel staff is also very considerate and friendly, whether it is the check-in experience or the assistance in small matters, the hotel staff must be manually praised here! Another thing worth mentioning is the breakfast, which is really amazing! Every breakfast is so delicious! Fresh orange juice and scrambled eggs are highly recommended! The design of the hotel is also worth mentioning. The first floor is designed similarly to the museum, and there are historical relics below, so you can feel the sense of history as soon as you enter the door. It is highly recommended to all tourists who visit Athens for the first time or again!

Closer to the Acropolis, it is convenient to eat, drink, drink and go shopping. But the airport bus took to the Constitution Square and dragged the luggage or got a subway stop. The room is acceptable, classical style, and the bathroom is slightly smaller. On the street, the night is noisy and not too soundproof. The front desk service was good and the breakfast was quite rich.

Stayed five days with friends. Booked four rooms. Staff were very friendly, as for me is a Greeks, some of the most hospitable people in the world. The breakfast was plentiful, staff again done a great job. It was a very busy As it’s a conference Hotel really. However that didn’t mean that it was bad. The pool was mostly quiet. And spotless clean as was the whole hotel. Heard some say it was far away from city. For us we didn’t think so, it was literally a 15 minute walk right to the centre, however if you cross the very busy road, your literally among some great non touristy restaurants and cafes. I never felt the staff or the policy of the hotel was to attempt to get money from you for extras, everyone was very integrity minded. My only slight gripe was that the maid service was a bit inconsistent, so the room wasn’t made up to the same standard each day. However I mentioned it to the reception and received a letter and bottle of wine, which wasn’t expected but appreciated. On a plus the rooms are huge, with a nice sitting area and large bathroom. Only other thing. As we book four rooms for 5 nights , and our flight was leaving late and we needed a room to stay later, I felt the 117 euros for late checkout was a bit steep and as we had booked the four rooms I think they could have gave us a bigger discount than have the room rate , as is their policy obviously. Other than that. It was a great hotel considering its massive size. Would definitely recommend. It’s not Dubai 5 star so if that’s what you expect you will be discounted. However it’s very good and very genuine, spotless clean and great staff.

Outstanding
GGuest UserThe apartment is located on the 6th floor with a terrace and a long terrace with views of the Acropole and Parthenon. Located in the Koukaki district on the back of the tourist districts, it allows you to find an even Athenian atmosphere with restaurants, shops and others even if it seems that this part of the city is becoming transforming instead of seasonal rental if you believe the number of key boxes you find in the streets. The apartment is very recent but the maintenance and the household are not at the top (no household made during the 3 nights when we stayed there and there is nothing in the apartment to do it even a baai) which probably wishes for a The good is degraded quite quickly if this point is not revised ...Personal at the floor with a variable politeness. Some are very aventive and others, especially those who seem to be the manager of the place, who say neither goodbye nor thank and who seem to only turn the business ...
GGuest UserMiraMe has the BEST shower we have ever experienced. THE BEST SHOWER! It comes with four different ' heads ' and the water pressure is extremely powerful so taking a shower after a hot day in Athens was an absolute joy. Usually the rainshower found in most hotels is weak, but MiraMe's jets are very forceful and steady water temperature. The other three ' heads ' are one for the chest, one for the butt and one for the legs. Then there is also one separate hand held shower head on the side. The shower room is spacious and drainage is smooth, and the door seals perfect so there is no worry of a leak. We cannot claim to be hotel experts but for the 30+ odd years of travelling and having stayed in over 60 hotels in many cities, we can vow loud and clear that MiraMe has really sourced the BEST shower model, and other hotels, even other leading hotels in the world should dump theirs and change them into MiraMe's.
Locationwise, MiraMe also is very good. The main shopping districts are just 10 mins walk away where you can find famous brands as well as plenty of shoe shops. In the area are major bus stops , great variety of restaurants, cafes, ice cream parlours, pharmacies and other nice hotels.
The room we had booked is ' deluxe family room with balcony ' that has a short flight of stairs leading to an attic for the 3rd person. It is a nice nook up there for some privacy with a bed and a sofa and an individual air con that provides a comfy temp. The balcony is small and not much view so we hardly used it. Breakfast is provided up on the rooftop bar cum lounge, where a young staff manned the place and served freshly made breakfast cooked to each guest's order every morning. The rooftop has a nice open view of the Acropolis and has very nice updated music that is cool but not too loud and wild.
They also have a bar on the G/F serving drinks. The staff are all young and pleasant, polite and helpful and they try their best to help with restaurant bookings and recommendations etc.
MiraMe is a clean and modern boutique hotel that provides sufficient toiletries to make the stay comfy and carefree. Housekeeping is discreet and the bedding is all clean and white, bath and hand towels and floors and things we touch are basically clean. Again, we cannot praise enough their wonderful shower that has to be the BEST in the whole world.
The hotel is in a quiet street but in a very safe neighbourhood, so even if you return late everyone feels very secure and safe.
GGuest UserThis is an extremely nice hotel situated in a perfect location. Our stay and review are based on a Superior room You would be hard pressed to find an Athens hotel in a better location. You are right in the middle of all the action with shops and restaurants nearby. You are spoilt for choice. Although in a busy area we found the excellent double- glazed doors/windows kept any noises out and it was not an issue at all. Our Superior room came with a kettle and tea/coffee making facilities although that is not listed on their website. It may be worth e-mailing them if this is important to you. There was air-con but in March there was no need to make use of it so we cannot comment on its efficiency. The toilet/bathroom came with those tiny bottles of shampoo and body wash which we refuse to use on environmental grounds so we brought our own and used that. There was a sign saying that if the used towels were hung up then it was assumed that we were happy to reuse them. The cleaners replaced them daily regardless. The rooms were kept very clean. This hotel has much going for it. We grabbed a deal here at a very attractive price which included breakfast. The breakfast arrangements were in a fairly small area but we felt that a good selection was provided considering the space limitations. Plenty of fresh vegetable choices and delicious too. The Tomatoes and Cucumber just tasted so much better than we are used to. Cereals, bread, cakes, fruit and coffee from a machine. We looked forward to our breakfast every morning and didn’t grow tired of it. Minor gripes (being very picky). The over the bath shower was a mini battle in so much that it was prone to shoot water out onto the floor if you weren’t being careful. It could have been better but all we had to do was to adjust our showering habits and all was ok in the end. Our room had a balcony facing out to the street below. It would have been nice for a couple of chairs out there rather than just a large pot plant and the air-con unit for company. I did notice that no other balconies on other building had chairs out so perhaps that is just the Athens way. We had a Fridge in our room. Very welcome. A very close mini supermarket was the cheapest place we could find to buy water. E0.39 for 1.5 litres as I recall. We loved this hotel. All the staff were so nice and so helpful. I can’t remember all of their names but Irena and Eva come to mind. They helped make our stay wonderful. It had a curiously homely feel about the place. March time was a great time of the year as it was a pleasant day time temperature with it getting a bit chilly in the evenings. You could still dine outdoors but with a patio heater nearby. We loved Athens and have decided to return next March with the flights already booked. We will stay at the Plaka Hotel again. 5 stars from us
Stayed for a few nights here on my first visit to Athens. It’s a well air conditioned hotel located on a quiet street only 5 mins walk from bars and restaurants, and 10 mins further to the Acropolis. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the breakfast perfunctory. The room, if a bit small, was clean and comfortable.
GGuest UserWow! So impressive! The room was great and the bed was comfortable. The location was fantastic and the level of customer service was amazing! The staff was helpful and caring and assisted in guiding us with what to do and see. Bravo!
CChutipassReally unprofessional staff at reception, the story is I do join 2 nights meeting event here
My group booked 2 nights already without payment (the principal would support 1 night and I must pay 1 night as our agreement)
Then I booked for my own 1 night and online paid, remain 1 night that our principal would support
Once I arrived for check in, the reception asked for 1 night pay instantly and they couldn't find my name/my husband's name in any booking -- I had never faced an awful situation before (don't check but easy to change, don't care for my information, don't listen to me when I informed the name of group at all)
Hotel staff can't find a booking even in trip.com or from the group 😂 then I need to pay 1 night (which the principal will pay later) and he still ask for my booking number in trip.com, so poor practice I have never seen before such a who got all the data but unskilled to check any...
It might be a typical person here for no service mind and don't try to understand
I take 2 hours to talk and become my fault for duplicate booking....😒 and he ask me for ”how to know I paid in the 2nd night 🙄 ask me to show online statement in my e-banking !?!?!? ,Once I showed he said how to know it is mean to Stanley (statement show the perfect similar of decimal with pay under name trips.com....????)
So senselessly staff
However I finally got back my money, with the assistance of my Greek colleagues
If you have to book here, please don't expect them to be close to standard for a 1 star hotel actually
It's one of the most rough service from my experience
Good cleaning room, near subway but nothing around, simple amenity
EEscape57205021476We had two rooms end of March 2016. Brilliant location, we were able to walk to all the sights and restaurants etc. A very nice hotel with very friendly staff :) The rooms were large, individual, quirky and clean so we were happy :) True that it doesn't have the hotel name on the door only number 27. One of the rooms had the bed up on a mezzanine level which was low in the ceiling but a fun unusual solution. Pity that room didn't have a light in the bathroom though. Overall we were very happy and would recommend staying at the Emporikon hotel :)
GGuest UserThe location is great, almost next door to the Acropolis Museum, a 7-minute walk from the Acropolis entrance, a 15-minute walk from Syntagma Square, and a 5-minute walk from the subway station. The room was clean and the free breakfast was very good. In such a convenient location in the old town, this hotel couldn't be any better. Highly recommended!
KK_tabiThe location was good as it was close to the Parthenon and within walking distance to the nearest station, but the view from the room was so close to the building next door that I couldn't see the night view. That was the only disappointing part. It was great to be able to see the Parthenon and the night view from the rooftop.
The room was clean and I stayed there for two days, and I was happy that they cleaned the room between days.
He also spoke English, so he was kind enough to call me a taxi.
UUwe HolgerThe pictures promise more than the hotel offers. Everything is a little worn out. If you have a room facing the street, it is quite noisy. There is no dish soap, sponge or anything else in the kitchen. Support from staff zero. Internet access is also slow
Overall, the price-performance ratio doesn't fit at all
