"Hotel was clean but was small. View of the hotel was the backyard so nothing special. Didn’t try their breakfast as I didn’t have time. Hotel didn’t have a slope up. So you have to climb up stairs with your luggage. But service from the staff was great. Gave us wine for our birthday. Location is about 5mins from the train station and a few tourist attraction."
"The hotel is located in a prosperous area of the city center. It is only a few minutes' walk to Constitution Square, the Acropolis business district, and there are many luxury stores and restaurants. There is a pedestrian street right outside the door. The rooms are clean and hygienic, the front desk service is friendly, the breakfast is rich, and you can see the Acropolis. Beautiful environment, high cost performance, recommended👍👍👍"
"Excellent location as there are many restaurants close by. The service staff were above excellent especially Nellie and Anastasia. They make one feel welcome and like home. Always anticipating our needs and extremely helpful. If anything, the rooms were a touch on the small side but the service made up for it. Will definitely come back."

"I’m a solo traveller and I stayed here on my first trip to Athens. I wanted to be central to the attractions. The location was amazing!
It is right on Monastiaki square where you can take the metro to and from the airport making it easy to get to! You can also use theirs to get around Athens! Low cost and easy to use!
You can see the Acropolis right from the square! There are also lots of lovely restaurants and coffee shops around this area too!
On arriving at the hotel the reception staff were very warm and welcoming. They helped me to arrange transportations and offered to prepare a takeaway breakfast bag for my early check out which was very kind!
The room itself was quite large and clean with all of the amenities that you may need. The shower was hot which was good! The downside to the room is that it is very noisy from the outside due to it being on the square. It can get busy at nighttime, however I did expect this due to its location. I came prepared and brought earplugs to sleep in which did the trick!
The breakfast is served in the rooftop bar. Plenty of choice and delicious pastries each day. Hot and cold options available which was nice! The views from here are amazing! You can sell all around you and have a view of the Acropolis as you enjoy your breakfast! Wow!
Photos attached of the view from breakfast at the hotel rooftop and the square!
I would recommend this hotel to stay on if you are wanting to be in the centre of Athens! Everything was accessible and the staff was always happy to help!
Thank you so much for being so lovely during my stay!
I would come back again! 😊"
"It was a very nice hotel. The location is said to be an unsafe area in guidebooks, but I was relieved that I could enter it from a large street and that police cars were well stationed in the church just in front of me. (it is certain that the atmosphere is bad compared to the downtown, and you need to be careful after the sun falls)
It is also convenient to be close to the National Archaeological Museum.
The room is clean and comfortable. Especially the view of the terrace lounge on the top floor is great, and the Parthenon Temple looks beautiful.
Breakfast is buffet and relatively simple.
Amenities are not toothbrushes, so it is recommended to wait."
"It is very close to the city and is very convenient to various attractions in the city. There is a 24-hour restaurant downstairs, which is convenient for eating."
"
The hotel is conveniently located close to the
Metaxourgeio metro station. The rooms are comfortable and well maintained. Cable channels include the BBC and the tea kettle is a welcome amenity. The breakfast hour is an enjoyable experience. Management is friendly and attentive. I am happy to recommend this hotel.
"
"The room is in a great location, in the center of Athens, quiet in the bustling area. It is worth mentioning that their breakfast is made to order, and it is of a very high standard. Their steps are the kind of old-fashioned and exaggerated luxury, but the facilities in the room should be renovated and modern."
"Located right near the Acropolis.
Location is very convenient to see most historical sites and attractions.
Staff are very welcoming and helpful with any assistance you require.
The breakfast was satisfying with local cheese and dishes.
Rooms are not that spacious due to it being a boutique hotel but quite comfortable. Lower floor rooms window open inwards the hotel which was abit akward cause I could see my neighbors room.
Due to it being winter season, sadly the roof top restaurant was closed.
A minor annoyance was, they were doing a repair or changing the carpet and the noise level was quite disturbing but the staff did not notify us about this, which at the time was really disturbing.
Highly recommended for people who require a convenient location!"

Amazing
GGuest UserMiraMe has the BEST shower we have ever experienced. THE BEST SHOWER! It comes with four different ' heads ' and the water pressure is extremely powerful so taking a shower after a hot day in Athens was an absolute joy. Usually the rainshower found in most hotels is weak, but MiraMe's jets are very forceful and steady water temperature. The other three ' heads ' are one for the chest, one for the butt and one for the legs. Then there is also one separate hand held shower head on the side. The shower room is spacious and drainage is smooth, and the door seals perfect so there is no worry of a leak. We cannot claim to be hotel experts but for the 30+ odd years of travelling and having stayed in over 60 hotels in many cities, we can vow loud and clear that MiraMe has really sourced the BEST shower model, and other hotels, even other leading hotels in the world should dump theirs and change them into MiraMe's.
Locationwise, MiraMe also is very good. The main shopping districts are just 10 mins walk away where you can find famous brands as well as plenty of shoe shops. In the area are major bus stops , great variety of restaurants, cafes, ice cream parlours, pharmacies and other nice hotels.
The room we had booked is ' deluxe family room with balcony ' that has a short flight of stairs leading to an attic for the 3rd person. It is a nice nook up there for some privacy with a bed and a sofa and an individual air con that provides a comfy temp. The balcony is small and not much view so we hardly used it. Breakfast is provided up on the rooftop bar cum lounge, where a young staff manned the place and served freshly made breakfast cooked to each guest's order every morning. The rooftop has a nice open view of the Acropolis and has very nice updated music that is cool but not too loud and wild.
They also have a bar on the G/F serving drinks. The staff are all young and pleasant, polite and helpful and they try their best to help with restaurant bookings and recommendations etc.
MiraMe is a clean and modern boutique hotel that provides sufficient toiletries to make the stay comfy and carefree. Housekeeping is discreet and the bedding is all clean and white, bath and hand towels and floors and things we touch are basically clean. Again, we cannot praise enough their wonderful shower that has to be the BEST in the whole world.
The hotel is in a quiet street but in a very safe neighbourhood, so even if you return late everyone feels very secure and safe.

GGuest UserThe room was spacious, very clean and comfortable.
I wasn't expecting much for breakfast, but there was a variety of bread, vegetables, and fruit. I also liked the fact that they refilled it right away.
The staff was also very friendly.
We will be back again when we come to Turkey.
KkwanIt's at the center of Athens and so the famous tourist spots are accessible by foot. On the same street of this hotel there are plenty of restaurants and bars. Good value for all the convenience!

GGuest UserThis was a great stay for us and our family. The hotel is conveniently located near many popular sights and eateries in Athens and most were within a 10-20 minute walk. The nearby Monastiraki metro station made it easy to get to and from the airport as well.
The rooms are nicely appointed with a couple of chairs, work station, coffee/tea station, closet, mini fridge and TV. The beds were small but comfy enough. Our family had a 2 and 3 bed rooms and we found the 2 bed room was a lot more spacious. The bathrooms in both were small but we appreciated that the hot water came on quickly and there was a small window for ventilation. Our room was quiet at night but our family noted street noise on the lower floors. The elevators were often tricky to catch as they are small but we appreciated it when we didn't feel like the climb to the sixth floor.
The amenities at the hotel were good for the price. The roof top patio and bar area was a highlight and we enjoyed a couple of afternoons up here watching the sun set and the lights turn on at the Acropolis. The prices of the bar were inexpensive and they had a good variety of options. There was a sitting room that had tea and coffee midday and they kept it open in the evening so we were able to sit together and talk. They had laundry service, baggage storage and could help arrange tours or car hires as well at the front desk with their friendly and welcoming staff.
The breakfast at this hotel was very good for the price. They had something for everyone and lots of place to sit. Highlights for us were the Greek yoghurt and the spinach and feta stuffed pastries. They also had mini sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, feta cheese, cucumber, tomatoes, breads, baklava, croissants, dried fruits, fresh fruits, juices and a coffee machine. We looked forward to breakfast each morning.
The hotel provided a good base for exploring and was centrally located. We would say if you're looking to save money and have a good breakfast to start your day in Athens this hotel is a good choice.

GGuest UserThe hotel was renovated from an old building, and the elevator is so small that it can only accommodate one person and one suitcase, but the room facilities are very new and the bed is very comfortable. On the first day, I got a larger room at the corner of the street. Although I could see a little bit of the mountain view, the sound insulation was not good. The sound of cars and motorcycles on the street was endless, and it was noisy until ten o'clock in the evening. Fortunately, the ladies and gentlemen at the front desk were very warm and friendly. The next day, I changed to a room facing the inner courtyard. It immediately calmed down and I slept well, feeling refreshed. The breakfast restaurant is on the top floor. You can enjoy a cup of coffee in the open air and enjoy the mountain view of Athens. However, there is really no choice in food, they are all sweet. There are many homeless people around the hotel and the roads are not easy to walk, but the subway station is nearby and you can easily go anywhere. It is recommended to stay for one day first, then extend if you feel it is good, or change if not, there are many hotels around.
AAnonymous UserIt may be that most of the motorcycles in Athens are modified, and the hotel is located on the main road, so it is quite noisy both during the day and at night. In addition, during the National Day holiday, I feel that it is not as cost-effective as the nearly 3K per night.
GGuest UserStunning hotel in a great location, close to hop on hop off bus stops and other attractions. Roof top is fabulous, great views and comfortable. Breakfast really varied and delicious. Welcome champagne on arrival was a really welcoming touch. I was able to check in early and out late which I really appreciated. Would 100% book this for my next stay in Athens
GGuest UserThis is the perfect hotel for someone who’s spending a bit more time in Athens since it has a fridge, laundry machine, etc. really nice stay, clean and comfy, would def come back
GGuest UserStayed at the hotel for 5D4N. I didnt regret any bit of it. Hotel is accessible and located near attractions and Syntagma metro station. I saved alot on public transport as most of the attractions are walking distance (eg Akropoli, Hadrian Library, Panathenatic Stadium etc) Staff are very hospitable and accommodating. Even the room is small, it is kept clean everyday. The hotel is located near eateries so you be spoilt for choice. The hotel breakfast was also great even though it’s a vegetarian restaurant. I truly enjoyed my stay at Niki Athens.
