"The hotel is grand, but dated.
It’s in a lovely position on the promenade and Gynn Square tram stop directly opposite.
There is a Premier shop just around the corner for essential items.
The room wasn’t ready, despite me being quite a bit past check in time, but the staff quickly rectified in a friendly and efficient manner.
The room was adequate and clean. Great to have an iron and ironing board. Nice touch!
I didn’t eat there, but had plenty of bits to make a drink in room.
TV in room and felt quite at home with the distant sounds of the seagulls reminding me I was at the seaside.
Happy days."
"Went with classmates, very nice (* ๓´╰╯`๓) ♡, service was good. Friendship reminds girls to wash their hair, please bring your own hair dryer. It is really comfortable to go on a sunny day and the price is fair. The parking lot is also large. Family vacations are also perfect for enjoying a great holiday."
"It's a little far from Blavkpool North Station in the center of town, but it's close by bus or train. The Blackpool Grand Hotel is a very large hotel and very easy to find, so I thought it was a safe hotel for beginners. The front desk staff are always on standby, so I thought it was a very safe hotel."
"Stayed at this hotel for 1 night, it was a lot nicer than some of the other hotels in the area, a lot of people standing outside the main doors smoking and spitting on the floor when we arrived. Checked in easy enough and found our room which there was plenty of room, bed was hard though. Wanted to have something to eat but hotel was over priced £6 for soup! Walked out to have food in the end, went back to bed and was woken up by rowdy groups of people coming back early hours from a night out 02.20 and 03.30. Went down for breakfast in the morning which was good ur basic sausage, egg and bacon but all well stocked and warm. Only thing is some people don’t have control over their kids, small kids running around knocked a tray out of another women’s hands and smashed everything on the floor."
"Having used this venue for overnight stays on several occasions we keep coming back as it covers most of the bases for a short break in Blackpool and will continue to make it our first choice for Blackpool.
Having all of the amenities that you would expect, the reception staff are always polite and helpful and the property is usually reasonably priced for what it offers.
if I had to say anything negative it would be that it is a long walk for older members of the family to get into the centre however there are multiple options available by way of public transport in that instance."

Great
IIrene love travelThe hotel room was very comfortable and nice. There is enough space for two people. And there is air conditioning in the room, which is really important in summer. Check-in was also very fast. Staff are friendly.
GGuest UserHotel was clean, people were friendly, not to far from tower etc
pictures made hotel room look bigger than it is, it's very small. I paid for bed and breakfast, if I knew what breakfast would be like I would have skipped it.
U get small chopped tomatoes from tin which aren't even hot, would have prefers a real tomato. You get a small bowl of beans which is about a table spoon worth. The fried bread isn't even 1 slice or half a slice it's quarter slice . And 1 hash brown. Toast was cold aswell. Small glass of orange juice and coffee. Out of all that I drank orange and coffee and 1 slice of toast , couldn't eat rest. Others may find it ok but wasn't for me
Tv wasn't working and could only connect to WiFi in reception area.
Staff were lovely though .

AAnonymous UserGreat location on seafront, easy parking £5 until midday next day. Good buffet breakfast with vegetarian options in a dining room with sea view. Rooms are noisy, very thin walls and you can hear every word of people walking past in the corridor so take earplugs. Would stay again though, the staff are all very good and the place is nice and clean.
GGuest UserThe place is old and has seen better days. Most Britannia hotels are like this, but I like the old-fashioned buildings. Our room was clean, breakfast was lovely and most staff were friendly.
The bingo should have been in the adults only bar, as there was far too much noise and human traffic.
It was great to see it busy, but not everyone was sober and respectful, so it was good to see security guards patrolling the hotel
It was disappointing that the spa pool was closed, as this was a selling point for us.
SSharonsolutely amazing hotel ...staff are so friendly nothing was too much for them if there's anything you need they will cater for it if possible ...the Foods amazing ... the bar is well priced the swimming pool and sauna is cheap perfect for families and couples ..
Definitely will be going again
3rd time I've stayed here it's amazing
GGuest UserClean, tidy, and COMPACT accommodation. Used as a base going out during the day and eating breakfast and evening meals at local venues.
The location was excellent for walking to the Blackpool Tower and along the promenade.
The onsite staff were available, cheerful, and helpful.
Amenities were adequate. The en-suite included a GOOD shower, but it was NOT spacious. The fridge in the room was very useful for fruit etc. Kettle in the room for tea or coffee.
Iron and ironing board available on the premises.
Note that parking, one space at the side of the property, was an extra charge per night, otherwise parking on the street, or at locally managed car parks at various rates.

GGuest UserOverall this hotel was nice great location, also on the the beach, good transport and easy to walk to town centre, good facilities, only flaw was it was our first visit to the hotel and I booked a family of 5 room with a sea view costing 78 pounds and on arrival was given a family of 4 room with no sea view only costing 65 pounds which I know as it stated the price on the receipt I was given by reception on arrival
GGuest UserClean and tidy room, quad with private bathroom, 2 double beds. Blinds on windows instead of curtains and not blackout blinds, which left gaps in so people could see into room. Tv and tea/coffee in room. No breakfast available as no chef currently employed. £50 cash deposit must be given on check-in which was returned with no problem after room inspection. Well stocked bar and karaoke with bingo was played on Friday and Saturday night. Parking available at £10 a night but looked a bit risky out the back so didn’t park here. Reception not always manned and can be a long wait for someone to come after pressing bell. No hot water on 2nd morning so it looks like the early risers take all the hot water. For the price for a family of 4 over easter it wasn’t as bad as some reviews.
