Mercure Amsterdam North Station
9.2 (852 reviews)

Mercure Amsterdam North Station ★★★★

📍 Termini 11, Amsterdam-Noord, Amsterdam

"Our first international trip with the kids brought us to the Netherlands, and this hotel was perfectly located. It's away from the city center's hustle and bustle, yet incredibly convenient for getting around. A 1-minute walk to the left brings you to NOORD station, which is the first stop on the line, so you're guaranteed a seat. The surrounding area is lovely too, with nature and animals creating a peaceful atmosphere. The supermarket by the station is well-stocked with everything you need, and the food options there are great. The room was very clean and thoroughly serviced daily. Overall, we were very satisfied with everything, especially the convenient transportation."

Train Lodge Amsterdam

Train Lodge Amsterdam ★★

📍 Changiweg 121, Amsterdam Westpoort, Amsterdam

"I booked a female-only dorm. It was my first European hostel, so I was quite worried, but it turned out to be decent. However, if you're traveling with a suitcase, it might be a bit challenging as there isn't much space to put your luggage. I recommend bringing your own bathroom slippers. The staff were friendly."

Hotel the Neighbour's Magnolia
8.6 (94 reviews)

Hotel the Neighbour's Magnolia ★★★

📍 Willemsparkweg 205, Amsterdam-Zuid, Amsterdam

"Amazing and beautiful neighborhood, i used to live nearby so it's very convenient to find the routes and ways around, we walked a lot during our trip and was always lovely to have a little rest at the hotel. Our room was on the top floor, quite quiet actually (besides construction directly next to our window at 07:30 weekdays 🥹) but that has nothing to do with the hotel. Coffee and tea facilities in the main lobby are free and its easy and always possible to borrow cutlery/cups/plates if you wanna eat in the room. Room was spacious and nice bathroom too, just to know, there is carpet in the room. Definitely recommend for a cute getaway in the city!!"

Radisson Blu Hotel Amsterdam Airport ★★★★
"The hotel surroundings are great, and breakfast was quite plentiful, as shown in the pictures. Airport pickup was free, but then the next morning, the driver, a Black man, asked me for a ticket, charging 6.5 euros per person. The hotel's immediate surroundings are superb, perfect for an early morning walk – it's really beautiful."

Hyatt Place Amsterdam Airport ★★★★
"There was no clear 'HYATT PLACE' sign on the shuttle bus, which made us wait at the airport for over an hour for nothing. When we called to ask, they said there's a shuttle every half hour, but who knows if that's true. Even if there was one, you wouldn't know it's their hotel's shuttle. Isn't our time valuable? After a 13-hour flight, tired and hungry, we still had to wait outside the airport for over an hour for the shuttle. What a load of **nonsense**."

"Facilities: Very comprehensive, they even had an iron, which I didn't need but appreciated. There was air conditioning too, which was a relief after staying in hotels elsewhere the previous few nights that didn't even have it. Cleanliness: Spotless and impeccable."

  • Stay Near Public Transport: Pick hotels within a 10-minute walk of metro or tram stops to save time and avoid traffic.
  • Save with Deals: Compare booking platforms, check hotel websites, and new Trip.com users can enjoy up to 10% off hotel bookings.
