DDaniserigneseI loved the hostel. Super well located in the city center, the staff is very friendly. I had a reservation in a mixed room and they offered to move to a women's room at no extra cost. Breakfast can be included for €12.50 and it is very complete. They also gave me a discount card to rent a bike. Highly recommended!

Both the hotel and the room were spotless and didn't have any strange smells, which was great. The only minor downside was that the music from nearby bars could be a bit loud at night.

GGuest UserAmazing hostel location, rooms had spacious bunk beds, mirror and clean toilets and shower room in the room. Just a headups the the travel adapter keeps falling from the socket attached to the bed. So it's easier if you carry power bank or lighter weight travel adapter for charging.

Although it is quite far from the city centre, the hotel is just a one-minute walk from the train station, making it incredibly easy to get anywhere in Amsterdam quickly by train.
The area around the hotel is pleasant and lively, with nearby markets, food options, and coffee shops, which makes it easy to find something to eat or relax without having to travel far.
The room itself was quite small and didn’t have a special or cozy atmosphere. It feels very basic and functional rather than comfortable or stylish. Overall, it’s a good option if you just need a place to sleep and plan to spend most of your time exploring the city.

Sstela68I was prepared for the stairs based on previous reviews, but it was still more challenging than expected. I was assigned room 401, which meant climbing 5 flights. The spiral staircase in this old building was a bit difficult. However, in an expensive city like Amsterdam, for this price, and with a central location within a 10-minute walk of Central Station, canal boat tours, Chinatown, and the Royal Palace, what more can you complain about? There's no kettle in the room, so I recommend bringing your own. Although there's a coffee machine in the reception area on the ground floor where you can get hot water, it's not very convenient to go up and down from the 4th floor.
