"Terrible experiences as hotel no a/c at all, I had slept in a hot temperature for all day and night, I checked with hotel reception as I was told they were informed all the booking platforms long time ago about the hotel under a/c maintenance work, but there is nothing mentioned on the trip.com when I booked the room and at the end, I had to cancel my stay and move to another hotel, although trip.com has been contacted for an assist but somehow, I had to work around all the alternative by myself"

"A £40 room disguised under a £110 price tag, depending on which night you choose. The room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The walls are paper thin (outside noise is expected in Brighton but the noise was coming from normal conversations people were having in adjacent rooms, and toilets flushing above and to the side). Asked for a room close to the lift and was given a room at the very end of a series of corridors, accessed via two additional flights of stairs AND a lift). Was charged £7.50 for a pint of Red Bull (yes, just Red Bull). Hotel attempted to charge an arbitrary ‘late checkout fee’ to my card on exit, which I declined, as the majority of the lateness came from the 20 minutes we waited for the solitary lift each time we needed it. If you do book, keep a close eye on the price, as it changes every day. By cancelling and rebooking I saved £20."

"When Arriving at the hotel we were informed that it was policy no children under the age of 18 were allowed to stay at the property, but on this occasion due to my son being 16 it was an exception. When first booking the room on trip the room looked fairly suitable, looked like the bathroom had been refurbished and looked quite comfortable. After checking in and approaching the room, the room was nothing like it was stated on the pictures. There was a kettle in the room, but no mugs, no tea/coffee or Sugar. The bathroom had a lot of issues, no use of a shower because the shower Clip had fallen off. There was no plug to put in the bath. The mirror wasn't cleaned, the only good thing about the bathroom was the toilet was clean. The bed was standard, only given one pillow each but did request for another two pillows as was given them. The whole hotel itself, there was no amenities, like breakfast being served or somewhere to lounge like a pub like setting. Overall the hotel looks like it is going through a refurbishment. I wouldn't stay here again unless it was improved massively."

"Everything here is great, it's worth the price, and it's very convenient to come from London. The hotel's decoration style is really comfortable and new, facing the sea but very quiet when the windows are closed. Be sure to try their breakfast and dinner, and you can go to the beach or another one across the park for oysters"
