Lovely place, beautiful decor, delicious breakfast! Only negatives: 1) the heating didn't turn on and the room was a bit cold (it was too late at night to ask someone about it), 2) the shower wasn't the best - couldn't keep a stable temperature. That said, I'd definitely stay again and can gladly recommend.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Staybridge Suites. From check-in to check-out the staff were friendly and helpful. Room was great with a lovely comfy bed and pillows! Good choice for breakfast and operated very efficiently - the only criticism would be that the staff cleared the tables when people left but didn't wipe the tables. Overall would definitely recommend and would have no hesitation in staying here again.

Guest UserA few niggling things that could be improved to make it perfect, however, I would not book when the temperature outside is in the mid 20c or higher! It was baking inside more than outside, making it extremely difficult to work and sleep. The room was very clean other than a few hairs stuck in the pillow (paper lined instead of quality pillows). My room was right next to the cleaners cupboard and noise from others slamming their doors can be heard very clearly. Otherwise the street noise couldn’t be heard with the door closed, but in that heat there was no way you would want to close the door.
They give you a standing fan and a ceiling fan that stays set to 19c and no way to make it go faster. You’ve been warned about booking in hot weather!
They have a spacious lobby you can sit and work if needed, but I didn’t stay after check out.
Great location for all amenities of Brighton.
Cleaning products provided for dish washing, washing clothes and eco hand soap. Hair dryer, ironing board and iron, safe, bottle of water, milk and tea/coffee which was a nice touch (usually you get the fake milk in the pods). Everything else you need to provide yourself.
Would stay here again if was in Brighton and in the winter! Maybe it’ll be nice and cosy in the winter.

TravellingdocThe hotel was so artistic, edgy and filled with colour and culture! Each room was decorated with a unique theme. The breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. We visited during the heat wave and whilst there was no AC there was a Dyson fan which did the job. The service was amazing and I would recommend! The only drawback is people with accessibility problems might find it difficult to access certain rooms even with lift access.

We stayed in a family room from October 1st to 7th, 2025. The view was stunning, and there were plenty of supermarkets nearby, with easy access to public transportation. We arrived in the morning, and although it wasn't our check-in time, the hotel had a room available. The room was small but beautifully decorated, especially the bathroom, which was exceptionally clean and bright, with no mold at all. There was also a tiny balcony for enjoying tea. The room was underground, and the dehumidifier kept it dry and warm, so we had to empty the dehumidifier daily. I'd researched travel guides beforehand, and it's true that hotels in the UK don't provide slippers or toothbrushes or toothpaste, but they did provide plenty of biscuits, tea, and coffee. Breakfast was at The Charm, two rooms to the right. They offered a variety of Western and English breakfasts, and they also catered to vegetarians. The coffee and tea were excellent, and we enjoyed a leisurely breakfast and milk tea every day, leaving us feeling warm and satisfied. They also offer a la carte options on weekends, such as Eggs Benedict. We left early on the 7th, and we ordered sandwiches the night before, which were perfectly packed. Thank you to the staff!

Great location in Kemptown on a quiet street just a short stroll up from Brighton Pier. They have rooms with balconies and views bit I didn’t mind the deluxe room which was in the basement. Very clean and spacious room with a little seating area at the far end underneath a skylight. Nice clean bathroom with spacious shower. Really worth the price if you don’t mind not having any views. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel also offers spa treatments and massages

The hotel is entirely self-service. As long as you follow their instructions before checking in, such as checking in via the app, everything will go smoothly. The room was spacious and very tidy and clean. My room had a great orientation, so it was very quiet at night. My friends' room faced the street and was very noisy at night. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise – excellent in terms of color, aroma, and taste. The hotel's location is also very convenient. The only downside is that the bed is a bit soft; if two people are sleeping, one turning over can disturb the other's sleep. It would be perfect if they had twin rooms.

It was a decent stay and at off peak for £80 on a Saturday it’s not too bad. It’s a nice area of town and near to everything whilst still being quiet. The key code system as helpful asyou could come and go at any time and no check in process was needed.
The room was a reasonable size but the bathroom was very small and tight. The room gad basic creature comforts like soap, small shower gel/shampoo pots and hot drinks facilities.
The overall cleanliness was fine but the extractor fan in the bathroom was very dusty and the shower could’ve been cleaner with some hairs in it. The bed and key hygiene elements were clean though. The floors were quite thin so you could hear neighbours at times and the room could’ve done with a blackout blind really.
If it was cheap to stay again I’d consider here, but I wouldn’t pay more than I did given the overall experience as some basics were overlooked as mentioned. Hopefully the feedback is constructive.

Bettina DyerLast minute visit to Brighton & needed an overnight stay. The Holiday Inn is ideal as it is in a great location overlooking the beach and walking distance to shops & restaurants. There is parking available under the hotel which is also a must as parking is scarce in Brighton.
Staff are friendly & helpful.
My room was clean & my bed was very comfortable.
On this occasion I didn't have breakfast but it was available at an extra cost of £14.
An ideal place for my overnight stay. Would recommend.

the location is great - near the sea! The weather was great, so we are satisfied. We did not expect more amenities from the hotel, because everything was appropriate for the old city. The owner of the hotel was friendly, even allowed to leave things until the evening. we recommend!
