Hotel name :A room with a view, 5 minutes by bus from the train station, just opposite Haitao, opposite the bus road, reception is on duty until 21 pm, if check in is later than 9 o'clock, you need to send an email to the duty staff to wait for you for a while, the hotel details are as shown in the picture, I will not describe it. I recently stayed at this hotel to celebrate my 40th birthday and had a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made me feel very welcome, and the check-in team kindly offered complimentary drinks for my son and me. I was delighted to find a bottle of red wine and a lovely birthday card waiting in the room, which made the celebration extra special. The room was beautiful with a stunning sea view, and I really enjoyed the coffee selection. The breakfast area was excellent, and the lounge was perfect for relaxing with a drink. They truly made my birthday special. All the staff and the concierge team were lovely . I would definitely recommend this hotel and will return for sure. Thank you, the Grand Hotel.

The location is convenient, the room is clean and comfortable, the service is warm and attentive, and the breakfast is abundant. It offers great value for money and exceeded my expectations. I will definitely choose this place again next time I visit. Highly recommended!

Great place surrounded by great restaurants and good shopping area. Crazy room and bed.  Can be loud at night outside and the lighting in the room can be better  Overall good and efficient

The hotel was really good for the price and the service was amazing too. The staff were so friendly and the location was very convenient, close to the pier and beach and a straight walk to the town centre. They had all the necessities needed and provided more complimentary snacks and drinks than you'd usually get at other places. We were worried aboyt the heat during the summer but they even had air conditioning. I'd highly recommend this hotel.

The view from my room was perfect! The room was small but clean and tidy. Perfect location, walking distance to tourist spots. Excellent staff. Unique lift, was scared to be stucked just in case it breaks but never happened. Just bear in mind that the ground floor/entrance is a bar/pub. From my room, I could hear the noise from the road even if my windows are closed- good thing to know for the light sleepers like me. But regardless, i still had a good time! Will recommend!

the location is great - near the sea! The weather was great, so we are satisfied. We did not expect more amenities from the hotel, because everything was appropriate for the old city. The owner of the hotel was friendly, even allowed to leave things until the evening. we recommend!

The location was amazing! we were right in the middle of the action and everything was very convenient. check-in was great, the gentlemen at the from that helped us check in Callum was super polite and very helpful. The staff at the breakfast was fantastic, my girlfriend's a vegan and they made her fresh vegan sausages at no extra cost! The room was clean and very nice, although it would be great to have some complimentary things like bottles of water or toothbrush/paste nevertheless it was an amazing stay! also the check out was super easy and hassle-free we just dropped off our room card in a box, super convenient especially if you're on a tight schedule.

The staff is amazing from a to z, also bed linens and towels are clean like new. The mattress was very comfortable and good quality. The breakfast was very basic English with filtered coffee. But the building is almost falling apart which is a shame. It takes 15-20 minutes in bus A5 or 5 for £3 one way, which is quite handy. The free parking is fairly good and also handy. The cost for a double room was £175 and I believe that was way higher than it should. All I’m saying is that if I would have known, I could get a much nicer hotel for that amount.

Decent family-run hotel, not dissimilar to other boutique hotels situated in historical buildings in Brighton. Shower took a while to heat up, the air dryer wasn’t working, and the room also had a lingering smell of cigarettes which I believe would have been hard to get rid of if someone smoked there previously, but the sea view was lovely and staff were friendly. Basic amenities available and adequate for the short stay. Instructions were clear and though not always right away, staff were reachable.
