Hotels Near JCPenney in Austin

This offshoot of Marriott was a really good choice for the following reasons: -It was close to my family living nearby -Modern interior for the room that’s super efficient -Good value for the money -Complimentary breakfast in the morning. -Very nice staff -My room was quiet. -very good location on the north side of town right off 35 Had particularly good service from Adrian at the front desk… He needs a raise!😉 This was a good choice @affordable price 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

The check-in and out was smooth. Our stay is ok, the room is quite small but bed is comfy. The breakfast option was nice but the next day, we woke up a bit late, we joined buffet breakfast at 8:30AM but most of the food were gone and was not replaced. The location is good, near N. Lamar Ave and I-35 which is accesible to Downtown Austin.

The Location and staff are excellent. ”Mr.CRAY” at the front desk was extremely accommodating with providing us topnotch service and taking care of all the request made during our stay. From checking us in to giving us a room with the best view. The location is prefect and right across the domain area where you could just walk to. The room was clean and well equipped . The housekeeping did a great job at cleaning on request. The only miss was the height of the bed. For a short person it's big...! Overall We were happy and defiantly will back again.

Good location, newer hotel. Large suites

We stayed two nights, Thursday & Friday. My handicap room on the third floor was clean, easy to access and the view out the window fabulous. Parking was ample, well lit, inexpensive and a short distance to the hotel entrance. The morning free complimentary breakfast was stocked fresh with delicious food. Everything from a yogurt bar, pastry bar, hot food area and numerous juices. There is a 24/7 espresso coffee area that’s wonderful. The swimming pool looked large and there were outside tables to relax at. The elevators and hallways were spotless and the hallways well lit and roomy. Checking in was a breeze with welcoming staff. Victoria was especially kind prior to my check in helping me secure a handicapped room close to an elevator. Element is close to many unique restaurants and the popular Domain. The lobby was modern and cheerful. There was so many couches that people could gather at. The room was equipped with a microwave, stove top, refrigerator, sink and dishwasher. There was a safe and ironing board with iron. The beds were very comfortable. The linen’s clean. The carpet was clean. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel. We will definitely stay here again. The location is perfect. A+

I loved the stay in the hotel. I loved our room, I told my husband if I could get an apartment just like the set up of our room I would be content. The front service people were amazing and sweet. Very communicative and welcoming. They provide free fruit, coffee, and water. We drive an electric car that’s not a Tesla and the red Parking lot that is also where Aloft guest park, provides charging which was an awesome plus. They also had a pool table that my father and husband enjoyed very much. Great location of course, can walk anywhere. Overall would stay here again.

Roselin, the lady at the front desk was great she was very friendly and it took us 5 minutes to do the hole process. Clean rooms, great location Very comfortable bed and pillows. Lobby area is very lively and fun. The breakfast was good menu is limited but service and taste was great . Tammy our waitress was very nice and made us feel at home. Overall experience was great!

John or the African American man in the fitted shirt at 2am. I greeted him he didn’t say hello. I said good morning again and he asked what can I do for you, I asked him to verify my rewards status to get waters, he asked for ID perfect, he is doing what he is supposed to. Then asked if I had received my waters already at check in I informed him I had just arrived, so no I had not. I asked what time breakfast was he walked towards the sign and told me 7-10 and pointed to insinuate I should have looked over at the sign, I could be wrong. It’s 2 in the morning, just drove in and im tired if I was going to get this kind of treatment I could have grabbed my own waters and proceeded to read what was posted for breakfast. I lastly asked for a late checkout time he stated “you can confirm with the morning staff” Then I asked for his name, he paused wrote something down and said “my name is…. as he drug it out, is John. Don’t believe it. Not a terrible experience just uncomfortable and unnecessary. I will make sure to check in with the morning staff If I decide to stay at another Homewoods. It probably will never be this one. John or the middle aged young dude with the fitted polo shirt shouldn’t lose his job, or be yelled at he needs additional training over guest relations and how to handle all guest, even at 2 in the morning in hopes he will get better and one day no one will ever treat him or his family the way I was treated in that moment. The crazy part is the elevator was not working and we were the fourth floor, my family and I were even mad to have to take the stairs, John or whatever his name was, ruined the start of the experience. I won’t even wait until after I checkout to write a review. It is safe to say the morning experience will be better and the breakfast better than the night experience.
