Régina Boutique Hotel ★★★
"Excellent hotel, right in the center of Avignon. Just one small observation: the hotel reception closes very early, but everything was handled remotely via telephone."
hotelF1 Avignon Centre Courtine Gare TGV ★
"The location is very convenient, close to the train station, and there's a bus stop right outside with routes to the city center. The bathroom was also very clean. The only issue was the flies in the room."
Hôtel le Bristol ★★★★
"The hotel is in a very good location, close to the old city walls and the A**ion downtown railway station. It is very convenient to walk to various attractions in the old city. There are also many restaurants and bars nearby."
Hôtel Le Cloître Saint Louis ★★★★
"The hotel is conveniently located opposite the train station. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast selection is generous with bread and cakes, and the hotel restaurant also serves dinner."
Hôtel Mercure Avignon Centre Palais des Papes ★★★★
"The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, right next to the Papal Palace! However, the facilities are on par with a budget motel, definitely not what you'd expect from a 4-star hotel; it barely scrapes by as a 3-star. Perhaps because it's an old building, the hallways are incredibly narrow and dim. The room was tiny, with no trash can except for a miniature one in the bathroom. There wasn't even a proper desk, just a small 40cm ledge. No gym or pool. The floorboards creaked loudly with every step, making me worried about disturbing the neighbors. There's central air conditioning, but no matter what temperature you set it to, the air coming out was the same as outside. No complimentary bottled water. The most frustrating thing was that the housekeeping staff would always mess up my toiletries, and one time my razor was even disassembled—I suspect the cleaner might have used it themselves 🤢"
Ibis Avignon Centre Pont de l'Europe ★★★
"It is very close to the train station and the old town, which is very convenient. The front desk is also very friendly."
Avignon Grand Hotel ★★★★
"The hotel itself isn't bad; it's very spacious. However, the facilities are quite standard. The location is super convenient if you're traveling by train, as it's only a 3-minute walk away, right across from the city gate. The value for money is average, and the hotel is really big."
ibis budget Avignon Centre ★★
"The hotel is located about a 10-minute walk from Avignon Centre Station, so the location isn't bad. The rooms are also spacious. However, the room I stayed in this time was unfortunately filled with a constant sewage smell. The air conditioning wasn't very good either, and it was cold."
Mercure Pont d'Avignon Centre Hotel ★★★★
"Nice hotel. Convenient parking"

La Maison Grivolas Appartements et Maison d'hôtes
"This is a wonderful property convenient to everything. Mathieu is the best host we have ever had, making reservations and recommendations, delivering a fantastic breakfast daily, arranging for laundry service and assisting with the car park. Communications were excellent and timely utilizing What App. The room was a sizable suite and had everything we needed with kitchen facilities if desired. We would definitely stay again."
Brit Hotel Avignon Sud le Calendal
"A disastrous experience. My mother and I arrived late after a long day of driving and sightseeing in and around Avignon. The kitchen was open for a group but closed for us, even though we were starving. I do thank the receptionist for giving us (albeit rather unenthusiastically) a basket of bread. Feeling a bit more satisfied after eating some snacks we bought at the hotel reception, we took a shower in a filthy bathroom (hair everywhere, a strong drain smell, crumbling furniture legs...). We changed into our pajamas and were about to get into bed when we discovered stained sheets—yuck! We had already settled into our room, put on our pajamas, and were exhausted. We didn't feel like going down to reception to ask for housekeeping or a room change; we just wanted to sleep (which is why we booked a hotel room in the first place). In short, we put a blanket over the extremely stained sheet (with some unknown fluid). The next day, we complained at reception and were criticized for not having gone downstairs when we first encountered the problem. So beware if you stay at this hotel; they expect you to do the work of a housekeeper in the middle of the night in your pajamas, and on top of that, you have to pay. I later requested a refund, which was refused for the reason mentioned above, accompanied by contempt from the hotel manager. Hygiene shouldn't even be a questionable issue in a hotel. And the worst part is that I was criticized for leaving a review mentioning all these problems I experienced."
Golden Tulip Avignon le Paradou
"Quiet hotel, next to the airport, convenient if you're on a road trip."
La Divine Comédie-Suites Deluxe
"The hotel's ambiance is absolutely beautiful, like a private garden oasis. The owner clearly puts a lot of effort into maintaining it, the hygiene is excellent, and the service is warm and friendly. My only minor complaints are that the breakfast selection is quite limited and the soundproofing isn't great – you can hear footsteps from the floor above. Other than that, everything was wonderful."
Mercure Avignon TGV Hotel et Spa
"Clean and new but far from city and still a 10min walk to TGV station."
Novotel Avignon Centre
"The hotel is located near a train station, so there's some train noise. However, the room type and facilities are good, and the room even has a balcony. It's quite convenient for family travel."
La Maison de l'Olivier
"Fantastic place. An oasis in the city centre. Room (suite) was great and garden and pool amazing. Florian and Emmanuelle were fantastic hosts, extremely welcoming and shared great tips on where to visit in Avignon….also Florian was extremely kind in helping us find the place, coming to meet us on a bike, when we were lost in the maze of one way streets! We would definitely stay again if returning to Avignon."
Be Loft B&B Pool & Spa
Hotel de Cambis, BW Premier Collection
"Close to railway station and just opposite tourist information centre. It is within walking distance to major attractions like the Papal palace and the bridge. Very good location."
ApartHotel Sainte-Marthe
"Located near one of the entrances to the old part of the city, the room was comfortable and quite spacious. The mattress was excellent, but unfortunately there was only one pillow per person. Hotels usually have at least two pillows. There was a built-in closet with shelves and a wardrobe compartment. In the shower, the shampoo and shower gel were in packets and there was no soap. Interestingly, we were given one set of soap and towels for two people. The hotel has a laundry service. Washing costs 3 euros, drying 2 euros. The finale is essentially empty, but it's there. The breakfast was surprisingly varied. Four types of cheese, stewed vegetables, and cold cuts. The hotel accepts cards and cash. If paying with cash, make sure you have the exact amount and no change."
Le Magnan
"Because I noticed in advance that this hotel does not have an elevator, I booked a room on the first floor. I saw other guests dragging their luggage upstairs very hard, so this needs to be noted. The location is very good, about seven or eight minutes' walk from the station, and close to the city wall in the old city. It is a residential area and the environment is very comfortable. The interior of the room is relatively simple. It has an old model but has all the necessary equipment, such as the TV. Looking at the photos, I was a little fooled. In fact, the grass in the yard is fake... The attitude of the store clerks is very good. Walk around for five minutes. There is also a bike rental shop within minutes. Overall, the location is convenient, hygienic, good, and very cost-effective."
Résidence les Cordeliers
"The residence is ideally located in the historic center and close to the train station if you're not arriving by car. The amenities are simple but functional (we used the kitchen)."
COWOOL Avignon
"Apartment-style room, the location is far from the center, and the surrounding environment is not very good"
Hotel d'Angleterre
"It's worth the money. You won't lose money staying in this hotel at this price."
ibis Styles Avignon Sud
"Bit off city centre, large parking, breakfast okayish, adequate airconditioning."
Garlande Hôtel Avignon Centre
"The hotel is located in the old city, so you need to find a place to park by yourself. But the good thing is that we can easily find a location nearby every time. The hotel rooms were renovated from old houses, and the bathrooms are slightly smaller, but they are nothing compared to the charm of the old city. Sufficient for bathing use. The room has thoughtfully added heating equipment at different locations, so there is no need to worry about getting cold when traveling in winter. There is also a family-style breakfast, which is elegant and delicious. The boss is very interesting and will introduce the hotel and nearby restaurants in an interesting way. Enthusiastic and full of French humor, he is a very good person. It is usually very close to the nearby church market or the Papal Palace. We drove to Arles and Stone Town, also within an hour. It is recommended to experience the style of the medieval ancient city."
