Travelodge Ayr ★★★
"My stay at Ayr was one of the best stays I’ve had at any hotel. Fraser the hotel manager was friendly and attentive, even helping us get a reliable taxi as we were attending a wedding locally. Hotel was very clean."
Brig o' Doon House Hotel ★★★★
Burnside Guest House ★★★★
Premier Inn Ayr A77/Racecourse ★★★
"Fantastic value for money, I had a better experience here than 5 star 'posh' hotel. The new menu is delicious and value for money! Staff are always friendly and professional."
Mercure Ayr Hotel ★★★
"Not happy This is the second time I have stayed in the mercure, first time ok . Went down hill asked to check in early as we were going to a wedding. If they have a room available which didn't know till 11am that morning, we would need to pay extra £50. Went back to hotel after wedding people couldn't get luggage room open Next morning breakfast all I can say was dried up . Went to check out girl said that is u everything paid I asked if we could leave car in car park said it would be ok but just put number in just incase as we r were covered till 12pm which is when we checked All of a sudden we had to pay £7 But was clear 5mins earlier Won't be back there again ."
Western House Hotel ★★★★
"The room is clean, hot water, biscuits"
Abbotsford Hotel ★★★
"We booked on line with ***********, when we arrived we were told there was no kitchen as it was getting refurbished, they should have been upfront with this before booking We also had our 9 year old granddaughter with us and due to the bye laws she was not allowed in the bar even with been accompanied with an adult. The problem was on Friday evening there was nowhere for us to sit with our drinks and after a lot of consultation we were eventually allowed to sit in the breakfast area. Not good enough"
Kilkerran Guest House ★★
"Nothing in the room was clean, supposedly no smoking room however the room smelt strongly of smoke. Toilet was unclean and smelt strongly of old urine. Nothing in the room was clean except the bed sheets. Coffee supplies mugs and tray were unclean and obviously used before we arrived. Cut our stay from two nights to one as we could not face staying another moment. The smell was the worst bit"
Fairfield House Hotel ★★★★
"Was good for one night .................................."

Luxury Georgian Apartment by Hauss Ayr, 5mins Beach
"Just a top location, and a beautiful apartment. Nearby to pubs and restaurants and just 5mins from the beach ⛱️"
Miller House Courtyard
"Hotel was clean, bed was comfortable, not too easy getting into car park with our van as big transit size. Adequate enough for one night stay."
Savoy 5
"A good hotel in the center of Ayr. The renovation is quite recent, the rooms are not very large, but they’re fine for one or two nights. The breakfast is tasty, and the staff are polite."
Ayrs and Graces - Luxury Bed and Breakfast
"Ayr’s & Graces exceeded our expectations. From walking in the door we were made to feel welcome by the hosts Rhona and Paul . Such a lovely couple who recommended many places to visit in the surrounding area. We stayed in the Jean Armour Room which was beautifully presented and very comfortable with an ensuite bathroom. The room had its own private entrance through the patio doors and also had use of a lovely seating area outside in the hallway under the stairs. Breakfast was delicious with a good selection offered. We are already planning our next visit to this outstanding b & b."
Daviot Guest House
"I've been to Ayr many times but this was my first stay at Daviot House. It is only a block off the beach front and around the corner from one of the city's largest parks. There is a promenade on the beach front that is lovely. We were greeted warmly by Linda and welcomed. She showed us to our room at the top of the steps of the middle floor. Although the rooms are close together we never heard another person throughout our four day stay. The bed was comfortable and there was a kettle for tea or coffee in the room. The shower was spacious. The dining recommendations were excellent. While we aren't breakfast eaters, I did see the spread put out for breakfast and it was impressive. This is a definite go-to place for beach lovers. Linda is wonderful."
