Mercure Ayr Hotel
"The rooms are showing their age but are clean and comfortable. The food was good and staff friendly and efficient. Location is excellent."
Western House Hotel
"Rooms were clean and adequate. Staff attentive and friendly. However, there was a Wedding on the same day and when we arrived for our evening dinner, we didn't get our starters until 8.45pm when our table was booked for 6.30. Although, to be fair to the staff, we were 25minutes late. We had an 20mth old boy with us, who sat very patiently waiting for a pizza. This took 1hr 45mins to be brought out. We were then told that the Chef was having a meltdown in the kitchen.Cant fault the waiting staff, but if you want to starve to death or eat at midnight then this is the place to go."
Eglinton Guest House
"Was down for the Airshow yesterday and stayed overnight. Although we were due to check-in at 2pm, the host Julia allowed us to do it earlier meaning we could go and enjoy the show. She also emailed a few days before explaining how the parking permit would work on the day of the event, which was great and stress free. Perfect location, 5min walk to the beach, 5min walk to the main street with bars/restaurants. The room was fine, nice and clean and we had a great night's sleep. Scottish breakfast was lovely. Overall great experience, Julia the host was very friendly and welcoming. Will definetly be booking back up for next year 😄"
Burnside Guest House
"We recently visited Scotland and stayed at the Burnside Guest House in Ayr. The rooms were just what we were looking for - spacious, clean and comfortable. Paul was a wonderful host - friendly and helpful and our breakfast was really delicious!"
Lochinver Guesthouse
"From the lovely entrance garden to the thoughtful details in the room, a perfect stay. Sinclair makes the very best porridge - his granny’s recipe! A wonderful stay with wonderful hosts."
Travelodge Ayr
"Long overdue we revisited Ayr and this Travelodge a place we return a couple of times a year to stay due to the excellent standard and service you receive from the staff . On this occasion we missed Fraser sadly ,and Helen, but was welcomed by Robert on arrival and met the lovely Nicola on our stay. The hotel is clean and seems well maintained but that is not surprising due to the experienced and caring staff . We visit Scotland often and stay at Travelodge and while ALL have been very good ,the one in Ayr stands out above them all ."
The Kylestrome
"My son and I drove up to Ayr to visit one of his school friends during the Easter holidays. The decor of the room was nice. The only issue we had with the room that that the heating system was blowing out cold air. Luckily it wasn’t too cold that night. We went for breakfast in the morning down stairs in the restaurant and it was very nice. Lovely decor and service was very friendly."
Premier Inn Ayr A77/Racecourse
"Consistently helpful staff; comfortable Premier Plus room with good WiFi; good breakfast; onsite parking; quiet but accessible (by car) location. This was the ideal base for our golf match at Belleisle GC. Thanks."

Savoy 5
"A good hotel in the center of Ayr. The renovation is quite recent, the rooms are not very large, but they’re fine for one or two nights. The breakfast is tasty, and the staff are polite."
Kilkerran Guest House
"It’s went down hill. First we could book in as no one was around so we went around Ayr then came back. We were put in a room that wasn’t cleaned at first. Then put next door to a bit cleaner room. The room had a hole in wall, dirty stains on bed base and carpets. The sink plug was stuck and we could wash in it. The plugs were all in extensions. The front window had a big crack in it, the bathroom was worse dirty that we had to buy a bottle of bleach as the toilet had poo ingrained in it. Never stay here again"

Sandgate 2-Bed Apartment in Ayr Central Location
Luxury Georgian Apartment by Hauss Ayr, 5mins Beach
"Just a top location, and a beautiful apartment. Nearby to pubs and restaurants and just 5mins from the beach ⛱️"
Barns Serviced Accommodation
"Arrived quite early in the day and was worried that we had a few hours to wait for check in, but we met someone there who said it would be ready in 5 mins. We parked in the front, there's permit parking along the road. The flat we were in is really well arranged. A large double bed (made of two singles) each with a pull out divan that we used for our kids. Everything is in one room, a space has been built for a shower room, toilet and sink, a bench seat in the window and a table for a kettle, coffee etc. There's even a very small mini fridge underneath. I was a bit worried about the idea of a communal kitchen and dining space, but it's really spacious and well kitted out with cutlery, plates, pans, kettle, toaster and fridge. I don't think there were many other residents when we stayed, so we never encountered anybody there. Overall, a really nice place to stay if you ever visit Ayr. "
