"This was the worse stay I ever had in my life. I ended up in Daria and puking. The kitchen was a mess and the food was really bad. Nobody should ever go to this place. And the place is not as in the picture. They charge a really high rate but they don’t even responsible for what they charge for. They don’t even change the bed covers or replace towels."

"Very bad experience I had in my travel life. Such a bad hotel. No water. No food. Staff do not speak. I had to speak to the Aloft Grand owner to get some water into room. Cleanliness NIL. Beds are awful. See the vet mages I attached. Insects all over. Cannot keep the doors open. Cats are coming inside the room. No locks in the bathroom doors. Cannot even give a one star rating to this hotel."

I have to mention the 2 fur babies (Bruno boy and Nanga) that greets you everyday.. if you are lucky one of them will even ride the cable car and the truck with u to the drop off point and say goodbye...🥲"

"I visited this property during the April 2026 holidays. It truly felt like staying in a cozy cottage perched along a misty Haputale main road, almost as if it were built on the edge of a mountain cliff. A small stream flows nearby, adding a peaceful, natural charm to the entire experience. The staff were extremely friendly, attentive, and supportive throughout my stay. A special mention goes to the property owner, on Sinhala New Year day, when I expected things to be busy, he personally ensured my request was fulfilled. As someone who enjoys red string hoppers for breakfast, I was genuinely impressed and grateful for the effort taken to accommodate this. That level of care made the experience truly memorable. The atmosphere overall was calm and refreshing. The garden is well maintained, and the amenities and facilities are in very good condition. The property also features a pleasant rooftop café running parallel to the main road, which adds a unique touch to the stay. and also the view from the room was breathtaking. Dinner was exceptionally delicious, and I really enjoyed the menu selection. The dining area seating is quite close, so the experience may be slightly affected if other guests are loud or disruptive."
