Hotel la Bisaccia

Beautiful hotel in a lovely area, with its own private beach with free sun loungers and beautiful outdoor pool. We stayed in a prestige room with great decor. The hotel has a good and varied breakfast with lovely views over the sea. The concierge was super helpful in helping us to organize a boat excursion one day, and allowing us to use a courtesy room to shower off and get ready after we’d checked out. Great location walking distance to many restaurants and a short car drive away from stunning nearby beaches. Hotel has free parking

We very much enjoyed our stay in early October. The hotel proved ideal for a multi generation holiday! We stayed on sea view rooms in the main part of the hotel. This suited us very well because it was easy to get to/from the restaurant/bar/pool with our 9 month old granddaughter. The hotel is just few minutes walk into town, where there are a number of places to eat. Things do start to wind down in the first week of October but we still had plenty of choice. We particularly enjoyed Ristorante La Rocca da Chiara, which is a short drive away. There is a good supermarket about 15 mins walk from the hotel.

We had a fabulous stay at La Bisaccia, the grounds, beach and pool area were all beautiful. Always plenty of sun loungers and never felt crowded. All staff were very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend the vintage boat trip that goes from the hotel jetty.

We stayed here the last week of the season so some places in the resort were closed. The hotel was excellent with beautiful grounds where you could lie on a sunlounger in quiet spots overlooking the sea or even in the little coves going around the hotel's part of the coastline. There is a saltwater pool which is a bit cold in October but we braved it and it was very refreshing once we were in.

We had an excellent stay at this beautiful hotel. The location is perfect for a relaxing, romantic and restorative holiday. The surrounding views are amazing, I loved looking over the sea each morning eating breakfast. The private beach, coves and beautiful gardens were absolutely stunning. The staff were friendly and loved one another, it was nice to see them smiling and hugging each other in the restaurant. Our room was nice and kept very clean each day. The man playing the piano and singing each evening was a delight. The bar staff were also amazing! We ate in the hotel restaurant for breakfast and an evening meal, both very nice although do be sure to try surrounding restaurants too. The sailing boat trip booked via the hotel was perfect if you want to see the gorgeous local islands, it was a fantastic day out. I want to keep my review at 5 stars as we had a wonderful stay but I will mention a couple of things to help other guests who are thinking of booking here - We didn’t get the room upgrade we had reserved and paid for. We weren’t allowed a refund for the difference in room prices, instead we were offered a complimentary meal in the restaurant to compensate. This was nice but be aware when booking you might not get the room you pay for. - We got bitten by some bugs and asked reception where we could buy bite cream. They told us the pharmacy’s were closed. They weren’t wrong, even Porto Cervo’s pharmacy was closed. The hotel didn’t provide bite cream for guests and didn’t offer to locate any for us. Bring your own medical supplies creams etc.

From check-in to check-out, this resort had it all. Comfortable accommodations (except for the tub that did not drain properly) and a beautiful in-room view of the sea. Nadine at reception was very friendly, as were the staff at the pool bar. It was an easy, quick walk into town, and we enjoyed the extensive choice of breakfast items. Sadly, the 40 mph winds and cloudy skies kept us from enjoying the pool, but that is not the fault of the resort.
