A wonderful hotel, with perfect service, clean, well-kept rooms, a very beautiful hotel both inside and outside, large rooms, but (!!!) the rooms are very uncomfortable, there are no shelves, hooks, hanging and nowhere to put clothes, I really hope this will be fixed, because otherwise the hotel is very good.
This central hotel has a fitness center and a restaurant with bar. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. Heydar Aliyev International Airport is a 25-minute drive from the hotel. The hotel is 10 minutes away from the buzzing shopping and historical districts. Within walking distance is Seaside Boulevard, Shopping mall, Maiden Tower, Carpet Museum and other places of interest.

The standard room facilities are relatively old, the room soundproofing is relatively poor, and it is very noisy facing the street, but the breakfast is good and the location is also good.
Mercure Baku City is an ideal destination for travelers seeking a blend of modern comfort and authentic Azerbaijani experiences. The hotel offers a stylish and elegant atmosphere, combining contemporary design with the rich traditions of Baku, the cultural, historical and business hub of Azerbaijan. Guests can explore the city's unique architecture, museums and breathtaking views of the Caspian Sea.

Stayed here for little over 2 weeks. Didn't enjoy the breakfast in the hotel, just not to my personal taste. The gym is much tiny than the photos shown, very limited equipments and not well maintained, ie. The cycling machine is faulty.
Used the room service couple of times, the food was not reasonably priced for the quality.
Daily housekeeping not consistent, I can tell the cleaner just empty the bin and changed the towels. However, I didn't see shower and basin area getting cleaned up during my over 2 weeks stay, as it gets dusty. Towels provided had marks on it sometimes.
Overall, I think my experience here is subpar, personally, will not stay here next time.

Everything was super. The breakfasts were excellent, open buffet and the menu was ***et crowded. The hotel staff was very attentive and never left us alone. I would recommend the hotel simply because of the location. The airport shuttle picks up and drops off right in front of the hotel, making transport to/from the airport very simple and very cheap. As a centrail location, with a metro stop 3 minutes away, it has all of the food/grocery options you'd need within a 5-minute walking radius. Regarding the facility, we had a suite with a kitchen and family area, which made our stay pleasant. The interior wasn't fancy and was a bit dates, but was clean and suitable. The staff were fine, but I would not say they were especially ”warm.”

Good hotel price/quality. Conveniently located, 5 minutes walk to the main street. The staff is helpful, they try, but not all requests are fulfilled the first time, you have to ask 3-4 times. The air conditioner in the room does not work for heating, there is no battery, so it is very cold. In the end, I got sick there

Very Good
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is located in the old town. Many sights are within walking distance. The hotel looked newly renovated. It has three floors, with the guest rooms on the first and second floors. Everything was very clean. The breakfast was very plentiful and delicious. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We were very satisfied. Our room only had a skylight, as it was on the second floor under the roof. Although it was mentioned in the room description, I didn't notice it. But it wasn't a problem, as the room had air conditioning that you could adjust yourself. We would stay at this hotel again, but would request a room on the first floor.
__Maria_Nice hotel, stayed for one night, located near the fountain square and the Old Town. There is a shop in the same house.
The room was not very big, ok for one night. The bathroom is spacious, but somehow outdated, in fact, like the style of the room, I would like something more fashionable or something. Breakfast is good, there is plenty to choose from.
It's a little strange that not all the staff at the hotel speak Russian, although the whole city speaks it.
OOumaijiaPersonally, I think the hotel at this price is pretty good, but it’s not very convenient to eat, the breakfast is barely adequate, and I’m not used to other things. Look at yourself! There is a Mall 1-2km nearby, where you can go for a stroll. If the photos are lost on my phone, I’ll show you the picture above. There are beaches a few kilometers away.
NNixNaxPros :
- Good location. Not too far from city centre/ town area/ nice restaurants.
- Customer service was on par. The staff always greeted with a smile and provided help when needed.
- Relatively clean room and environment.
- Near a park with exercising equipment.
Cons:
- Breakfast was decent and was freshly prepared. However, it was a bit disappointing that they had the same layout and dishes throughout our 5-day stay. It would have been nice to see more breakfast options.
GGuest UserThe hotel is in a good location. It takes about half an hour by taxi from the airport at night. It is right in the ancient city. I woke up the next day and started shopping in the ancient city.
The room is a little tight for two people with two suitcases, but it is enough. It is clean and tidy.
The building is probably built in the 1980s, so it has a bit of antique style from the outside to the inside.
The breakfast is unexpectedly good, with meat/eggs/hot and cold drinks/fruits/noodles, and even porridge. It is very rich for an ordinary daily breakfast.
EElGrThe hotel located in about 15 walking minutes from the nearest metro station and in about 30-35 minutes from the Small Venice. Next door to the hotel there are two shops-- one is private with superb handmade goat milk cheese and sausage, the other one is a supermarket to buy local tea, spices, dried fruit, etc
SSafwatMahmoudOverall was fine, the hotel needs some renovation, and the rooms seem old. The breakfast was not good, I had to take the breakfast outside every day. I would like to thank Nijat from reception and also bellboy Ramazan is very helpful and a good man. Also, Ali from the lobby Bar. I want Aldo to thank Rami from the transportation, he did a great service to me when we went to Shahdag with his Driver Farid. Thanks to everyone again and hope to take my feedback as a positive to enhance the hotel.
AAmmad KhalilOur Flight got cancelled due to visa issues, we went to a different hotel called MAAJID HOTEL in old city,
Before yesterday we were here for 5 nights, after spending one night in maajid hotel we missed the amenities & luxuries we had in this hotel so early morning we decided to come back to AUSTIN HOTEL BAKU again because its in the heart of baku , every time whether its day or night you look outside the window, you see the world alive in nice dresses & good moods, i would say its the HILTON HOTEL OF VEGAS in Baku.
No scam at all but please book this hotel only through trip.com because trip.com get you half price, i came here personally to check the price for a room , they quoted me a $100 night which is reasonable but i opened trip.com app & found the same room price in just $50 a night then i try to book & its done in just 1 minute.
No Scam
No overcharge
Very friendly staff
Staff is so good like they talk to you like they are your family members.
I am very impressed, i will visit this hotel again & again & again but only through trip.com

GGuest UserIt's fine for a short stay, but don't expect breakfast. The floors here are high, and the second floor is equivalent to the third floor in China. It is recommended to stay in the ancient city, but the location here is also in the center, and it only takes a few minutes to walk to the ancient city.

AArtyom PetukhovWhen I checked in I was told the door is broken so I could not open it with the electronic key and they'll open it, but it's gonna be fixed the next day. Of course it was never fixed and I had to ask the staff to open it for me every time. Felt REALLY awkward. Then some day some random woman (she was working here I believe) just opened my door and walked in while I was in my room at midnight, saw me, said sorry and run away. What was that I have no idea, but it kinda gives you an idea about their take on privacy. The TV was not working, because the cable was literally torn apart, the WiFi broke down several times and one time it was more than 24 hours. The showerhead was broken, the water from the shower never went the way it supposed to, but straight to the floor, the toilet was not really attached to the floor (thankfully it was attached to communications). With that being said, I still think the hotel is okay for the price, the room was nice, big and clean and had a personal balcony and the staff were really friendly.
