Seeking autumn in western Sichuan, I traveled in reverse through Genie, first taking National Highway 318, passing through the Cuopu Valley Scenic Area. I chose Cuopu Creek Campsite for a convenient overnight stay near the scenic area. While the conditions weren't perfect, they were convenient and clean, and I also ate there.
