The room was a good size and had air conditioning. The window offered a view of a corner of the Rainbow Mountains (p2). The hotel has three floors and is excellent value for money. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the west gate of the Rainbow Mountains, very convenient. The main sightseeing route from the west gate is Yunhaitai - Jinxiutai - Hongxiatai - Xianyuantai. There are many restaurants within a 10-minute walk of the hotel, which is decent. The service was excellent. When we went to the scenic area in the afternoon, the owner reminded us of the time, such as when to watch the sunset. The next morning at 5:30, when we went to watch the sunrise, the owner even took us to the entrance of the scenic area in a tricycle, worried that we wouldn't have enough time. They were incredibly kind. They also gave us a nice souvenir when we checked out, and the apricots from their shop were delicious! The hotel can also help arrange transportation, but you need to pay for it yourself. Overall, it's a very good hotel.

Zhangye Colorful Danxia Travel Resort Yuxuan Hotel is the first choice for tourism. The villa-style hotel is strategically located, very close to the north entrance of Colorful Danxia. The rooms are spacious and tidy and clean. Especially the bedding is changed for each guest, because the boss takes care of the whole hotel in a well-organized manner. Complete facilities, also with disposable mat bucket, disposable towels, bath towels, good soundproofing of the room, the boss is enthusiastic, we cook by ourselves, the vegetables we eat are grown by the boss himself, the boss also sends apricots, watermelon, let us taste, very hospitable, cost-effective, awesome!

The hotel is only two kilometers away from the north entrance of Colorful Danxia Scenic Area. There is a special town next to it where you can go shopping and eat. The surrounding environment is beautiful. The landlady is very nice and the service is very good. She helped with luggage when checking in and introduced the colorful things that day. Danxia has a preferential ticket policy and a nearby fire party. All toiletries are disposable and very clean. The mattress has zero pressure and is very comfortable to sleep on. It is highly recommended! Well worth staying!

After comparing several accommodations for my trip to Zhangye Danxia, I chose Kaoshan Daying (Back Mountain Camp). The Starry Sky Yurt was what truly captivated me, and my entire stay exceeded expectations – highly recommended! Location-wise, the camp is right next to the West Gate of the Danxia scenic area, making travel incredibly convenient. No need for roundabout detours; I could step out early in the morning to catch the Danxia sunrise. This fantastic location also saved me a lot of effort when it came to stargazing at night. Now, let's talk about the Starry Sky Yurt. Before I arrived, I was a bit worried about roughing it in a tent out in the wilderness, but my stay completely changed my mind. The yurt was spotlessly clean and tidy, well-ventilated with no strange odors. The bed was soft and comfortable, and despite the large temperature swings in the Gobi Desert between day and night, the interior was well-insulated and never felt cold or damp. The en-suite bathroom was excellent, with 24-hour hot water and a full range of toiletries. It truly offered a luxurious wilderness experience that blended comfort with ambiance, without compromising on daily conveniences. However, the panoramic skylight at the top of the yurt was the real highlight and the biggest surprise of my trip. The camp is far from the city, meaning almost no light pollution. As night fell, the entire sky was unblocked and spread out above me. I didn't even have to step outside into the wind; I could lie in bed and gaze up at the countless stars. The Milky Way stretched clearly across the mountains, with stars so bright and dense – a magnificent night sky rarely seen in the city. Lying there quietly, watching the celestial river flow and listening to the distant Gobi breeze, all my travel fatigue slowly melted away. It was incredibly romantic and healing. The camp's amenities were also very thoughtful. In the evening, you can enjoy a starlit BBQ and hotpot. After dinner, there's a bonfire party. Then, after a stroll, you return to your yurt to continue enjoying the tranquil starry sky. The self-driving parking area is spacious, and RV resupply facilities are comprehensive. The staff were warm and meticulous in their service; they thoughtfully informed me of the best stargazing times and were always on hand to help with any issues. The unique Danxia mountain light show at night, coupled with the vast starry sky, created a multi-layered and stunning view. The special clear-broth suoyang hotpot was authentic and generously portioned, perfect for a hot meal after a day of exploring. Whether you're traveling as a couple or with friends, the Starry Sky Yurt is an exceptionally suitable choice. You can admire the Danxia landforms up close and immerse yourself in lying under the Milky Way – it perfectly combines natural beauty with comfortable accommodation. This is an unmissable gem when visiting Danxia, and I will definitely choose the Starry Sky Yurt again on my next trip to Zhangye.

The room was very clean and the facilities were sufficient. It was not good if the mirror table in the bathroom was a little wider. It was a bit crowded to put down my toiletries bag 😁, but it did not affect the experience. I almost forgot my mobile phone in the room when I left. I ran back and the proprietress took the initiative to find it with me. When I left, I sent it all the way to the intersection. I also gave her a big hug to express my gratitude. I don’t pay much attention to how high the standard and luxury are for tourist accommodation. I like an easy-going, interactive and friendly experience, which may be related to each person’s personality. In short, it is a very satisfactory accommodation. The accommodation conditions are also very good, the room is clean and tidy, spacious and bright, the bedding is soft and comfortable, the facilities are complete, 24 hours hot water, toiletries are equipped in place, and the living is quiet and comfortable. The boss is warm and thoughtful, and he treats people kindly. It is super suitable for self-driving or traveling.

The facilities are well-equipped, the boss service is warm and thoughtful, and it is very convenient to eat at the end. There are several local specialty restaurants nearby.

The hotel hardware is very good. There are three villas with independent small gardens. The children had a lot of fun.
