The Saint Andrea Seaside Resort, the halfway point on a 3 week European trip was marvelous! After a full week of walking around major cities to be followed after Paros with another week of walking around major cities, Saint Andrea was a much needed respite. Comfortable rooms, beautiful pool, and a breakfast buffet - both Greek delights and continental favorites - beyond delicious. We also had a great dinner and yummy poolside lunches. But this review is not complete until I acknowledge the warm and attentive staff that made our stay so delightful. Thank you!

This was one of the most unpleasant experiences of my life. The photos provided were only about 30% accurate in representing the actual condition of the place, with the only redeeming factor being the view. Upon initially entering our room, we were shocked to discover several issues, including broken cabinets, furniture with holes and mold, and malfunctioning lighting. The most concerning problem was the transparent glass at the upper part of the entrance, which allowed anyone in the corridor to see inside the room. It's important to note that even though the wall extended for 2.5 meters, anyone passing by in the corridor could easily peer into the room. The building appeared to be at least 60 years old, reminiscent of settings in horror movies where unsettling activities take place. The very next day, we promptly requested a room change as the room we were initially assigned bore no resemblance to the photos advertised on the website. Fortunately, the hotel accommodated our request and changed our room on the same day. However, on that very day, after relocating to the new room, my spouse experienced a terrifying incident while taking a shower. Without making any sudden movements, the sliding glass door of the shower shattered and fell on her. She was left covered in small glass fragments, which took us nearly two hours to painstakingly remove one by one from her body. I immediately reported this incident to the hotel management the following morning, resulting in the replacement of the sliding glass door on the same day. Unfortunately, the same nightmare repeated itself when the new sliding glass door shattered in the same manner, showering me with glass pieces once again. These multiple injuries resulted in wounds and cuts, causing the bathroom and the entire shower area to be covered in blood. This situation made it impossible for us to stay in that room overnight, leading to another request for a room change. Subsequently, I had to rush to the hospital in Paros for medical treatment to address my wounds. Since the day of the incident, I have consistently suffered from infections, prompting me to seek medical attention once again upon my return home. It's worth noting that I initially contacted the hotel requesting a full refund without resorting to negative reviews or legal action. (July prices are 185eur per night) However, after eight weeks of back-and-forth email exchanges, the hotel only refunded me for two out of the five days of my stay, citing that the accident occurred two days before my departure.

Since the beach is narrow and busy near Parikia port, it was most refreshing to have an immaculate pool to dip into at this convenient hotel, walking distance to the port, bus station and the village. We had a simply furnished downstairs unit with three single beds for our double room, with A/C and refrigerator. The continental breakfast included meats, cheeses, yogurt, pastries, breads, cereals and hard-boiled eggs, coffee, tea and juice. The front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful, giving us restaurant recommendations and bus schedules. No need to take a taxi from the port or bus station if you don’t mind wheeling your bag for about 10 minutes down the tiled sidewalks. Another five minutes’ walk and you’re in the heart of Old Parikia, near the 5th century Monastery of Panagia Ekatontapiliani.

My partner and I stayed for five nights, renting a car for four days from the hotel. We stayed in a suite with a private pool and sea view that overlooked the main pool and dining area. The start of our stay was indeed sloppy. We took a ferry from Santorini to Paros, and advised reception of this the day before, as a transfer from the port to Mythic was included in our package. They had the information, yet attempted to reach us asking where we were as our driver couldn’t find us. While our ferry was significantly delayed, I assumed they would track the ferry and adjust accordingly. We waited for ten minutes for our driver to show up. Once we arrived, we were told to leave our bags at reception, and we got a tour of the hotel and it’s amenities , as our bags would be brought to our room. It took more than an hour for our bags to arrive, we even had time to go eat a meal at the pool before the bags got there. At this meal, we ordered two margs, and one was supposed to be priced at 13, the other 15 (spicy). We got charged 15 for each. 2€ isn’t a big deal, but it was sloppy. The car rental from the hotel was convenient, and necessary because the hotel is quite isolated otherwise with nothing within walking distance. The car was given to us with barely half a tank of gas, and again, as we discovered only a few hours into our drive, without ANY windshield wiper fluid, an obvious safety issue. We reported this to the front desk, with the manager standing there as we did it. Of course nothing was done about it for the duration of our rental. There was also no discount given for returning the car with 7/8s of fuel. Breakfast was quite good, but on at least two occasions we were served stale bread, and not a little stale - I’m talking rock-hard, could be used as a weapon stale. The room itself was fine, except while we were given a bottle of white and some fruit on check-in, we naturally assumed our room’s fridge was on. We put the bottle in to chill, and a few hours later noticed it was warm. I saw the dial at the back and turned it to its coldest setting. 30 minutes later, nothing. Finally I pulled the fridge from it’s little cove to discover it wasn’t plugged in. Sloppy. The shower’s handle sprayed more water from the base of the shower head than the actual nozzle. The manager did say he’d send maintenance so fix it, and that was fixed, so credit where credit is due. He also comped us a couple’s 30 minute massage to make up for all the problems at the start of our stay. Our private pool had paint chips peeling off it, and whatever type of paint they used left small marks wherever you touched it (typically fingertips). You guessed it - sloppy. The menu is limited at the pool bar, so be prepared to rent a car to eat elsewhere. The main pool is amazing, and the masseuses were incredibly good and worth the 120€ for an hour. My 2€ - Mythic is great for 2 nights max if all you want to do is relax by the pool, drink, eat, and maybe workout once.

an unforgettable holiday the perfect location as it is a short distance from Naoussa in an enviable position on one of the most beautiful beaches of Paros. Inside the structure there is a small supermarket, a characteristic restaurant and 2 swimming pools, one of which with bar service. Very courteous staff. In the surroundings of Santa Maria there are various taverns where you can taste the typical Greek dishes, an experience to be repeated absolutely.

The facility was very dirty. There were stains on the pillows and sheets, dirt on the floors, layers of dust collected on vents, and mold in the bathroom and refrigerator. It was clear that the room had not been cleaned thoroughly in quite some time. There were poorly-completed DIY electrical repairs in the room, resulting in our bathroom light going out in the middle of our stay. The hose in the shower had broken away from the showerhead, so we had to use it like a garden hose on our first night. The hotel also has an antiquated system that requires a key to be inserted into a device near the door to turn on the electricity. Of course, many hotels have this feature, but the one in Pandrossos was old and caused the electricity to go in and out, regardless of whether the key was where it should be. To be fair, the bathroom light and shower were fixed quickly when I pointed them out to the manager. However, the room remained very dirty, and the electricity continued to turn off and on at random. Several guests complained of respiratory symptoms during their stay, and some left to go to other hotels. I experienced coughing and sneezing that started when I arrived at Pandrossos and resolved within hours after I left. Aside from the cleanliness issues, the hotel appears to have been a nice place at some point years ago. Unfortunately, it has fallen into disrepair, and the staff seem to be struggling to keep it clean. The only positive is the location. It does have a great view, but there are many other hotels on the island with great views at similar price points that seem to garner better reviews from patrons. During my time in Greece, I stayed at four hotels around the same price point, and the others were great. Pandrossos was uniquely dirty and unkempt among hotels throughout the islands at similar price points.

RRamonWe recently stayed at the Akrotri and had a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment wr arrived. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was great, close to everything we wanted to see and do. The breakfast buffet was great with plenty of choices. I highly recommend staying here for a comfortable and enjoyable stay while in Greece. There are a maze of options but you will do yourself a favour by staying here.

GGuest UserThe hotel is very well furnished with a taste!! When you come in the main door you feel a fresh and clean parfume!! The location is excellent, in Paris and two steps from the port. Our room was very nice, with sea view (seen side by side from the balcony), all white and furnished in “minimal style”. All those working in this hotel are super nice and available and breakfast with a sweet buffet and salad (only €10 ) is excellent. You eat in a furnished terrace too very well (in addition to “great atmosphere”).. I advise everyone to go to this hotel!!

GGuest User Beautiful view, very friendly and helpful staff and gorgeous setting. Before we had even arrived the staff were so helpful arranging transfers, and when we arrived they were so accommodating arranging taxis and a trip to a local winery which was the highlight of our trip. We also ventured into the port town one of the nights (€20 taxi each way for a 10 mins drive so it is pricey), and had amazing local greek food on a recommendation from one of the ladies at reception which was lovely. The pool area was beautiful (no mad rush to the loungers here in the morning also which was nice) which a lovely view, the rooms were really modern, clean and nicely set up as individual units, and the setting was really pretty. Breakfast had a really good range and was of a high standard, the pool food options were nice and reasonable and the BBQ at the hotel we had one of the nights was a highlight (nice authentic greek food). I also had a massage one of the mornings which was such a treat and reasonably priced. Overall it was a lovely, relaxing and warm setting to have a chilled few days, and as a good base camp to explore the island if you rent a car/quad. Definitely good value for the price and I would happily come back/recommend it. Couple of minor bits for the hotel/a guest to consider. Only a standard body/hair wash combo was provided. It would elevate the hotel further to have a few more toiletries on offer. On one of the nights there was a party going on nearby which was quite loud until 3am - it was just one night but worth bringing earplugs just in case. All other nights were quiet however.

GGuest UserWe stayed at Villa Kelly/Parion when getting married in Paros, along with multiple of our guests. The team at Villa Kelly were nothing short of amazing, they were so helpful, kind and caring - we left feeling like family! The Prestige Suite at Parion is incredible - some of the best accomodation we’ve stayed in and the Villa Kelly accomodation was absolutely stunning. Our guests also couldn’t be more complimentary of their experience. The location is perfect, a short walk out of Naousa though close enough to all of the action. We can’t thank you enough for everything you did for us - 100/5 stars!!

GGuest UserThis is an amazing hotel! A few days before we arrived the hotel got in contact with us to arrange a pick up from the port which was great and saved us having to sort this out ourselves. Room: We had intially booked the basic room, however on check-in they gave us a complimentary upgrade which was fantastic!! The room was beautiful, with a jacuzzi in. It also had Netflix on the TV which was a brilliant touch. Every evening they came with fresh towels and left a choclate on the pillow so we had clean towels for the morning. This was on top of the room being cleaned everyday. Breakfast: Amazing! You chose from a menu, its made fresh with lots of choices. They give you ice cold water as soon as you sit which is a nice touch. You could have as much fresh juice and hot drinks as you wanted. Pool/Bar: Perfect! It was a really chilled vibe, they had music playing all day but it was nice and chilled. The pool was lovely and had great views out across the village and sea front. All the drinks and cocktails were tasty. Staff: We found every staff member to be lovely and helpful, from the driver to check in receptionist, the staff working during breakfast and throughout the day to the evening. Resort-Naoussa: Stunning!!! This place is like stepping onto the actual set of the film mama mia! I've never been anywhere so pretty. You can get lost in the maze of streets which is full of shops, quirky bars and resturants. It's centered around a small fishing harbour, which comes alive at night. The place is honestly stunning. We island hopped, staying in Santorini, Naxos and Mykonos but Paros was hands down our favourite island. The hotel is in the heart of it all with everything on your doorstep. Thank you for a lovely stay, we hope to return again next year !

GGuest UserSmall hotel in the center of Parikia in a quiet area, recently renovated, clean and furnished with contemporary taste. The huge room with a small terrace with a very comfortable bed and a choice of pillows all in Tiffany blue-green tones is marvelous, as is the bathroom with window and mosaic tiles; all very bright. Very good buffet breakfast in the room or terrace with fresh products and music/ambience in the background. Mrs. Markella who runs it is very kind and helpful: she replaced my lampshade light bulb in no time! The only improvement would be a larger wardrobe, an extra chair and some hooks for hanging things, otherwise perfect. I would definitely stay here again!

GGuest UserWe stayed here for 4 nights on an island hopping tour. There was a group of around 20. We had a lovely room overlooking the pool and a view down to the sea as well as the mountains. This is a family hotel, and Sofia and her staff were warm and welcoming. I had an amazing time with the cats! Lila and Rosie were adorable and I was sad to say goodbye. They are well cared for and apparently neighbours look after then when the hotel closes for the winter. The breakfasts were amazing with lots of variety. We loved the size of the hotel and often spent evenings around the pool with the rest of the group. It's about a 20 minute walk into town and an uphill walk back! Cabs are easily available if necessary. Would definitely recommend!

Hotel: The Sunrise apartments we stayed in were simple and clean (maid service every day) but ours was let down by the bathroom having a chipped shower tray and loose drain cover. Worst was the shower with no holder to place the shower head in (applies to all appts) and one of those awful plastic curtains that just cling to your body. We simply didn't use it and just mopped up the wet floor afterwards. Despite this we actually thought the rooms were pretty good - we had a view over the pool and a nice sunny balcony (helpful to dry clothes and towels etc). There's a safe, fridge, hairdryer, plenty of storage and lovely airconditioning. The beds were very firm also only one pillow but don't be afraid to ask for more if needed! The hotel appears to be used to travellers not staying more than a few days - probably because its one of only a very few in the area with a pool. We did have an issue with some loud Greek Teenagers who had no respect for anyone - dive bombing and summersaulting into the pool splashing everyone nearby and also coming back at 5am shouting and screaming. Very disrespectful. Luckily they were gone in a few days. In terms of location we found it very handy for everything - bus, shops, bars, beaches, restaurants etc. There is a small incline on the last bit but not a problem we thought (and we had an 83 yr old with us). The grounds are lovely with flowers and seating everywhere offering shade and 'quiet' areas. The pool, although small, is a very welcome addition - especially as temperatures were hitting 35ºC. Reasonable amount of sunbeds around the pool but the beanbags looked like they had seen better days and we avoided them! The star of the show is Harry in reception. He can sort out anything for you, from telling noisy Greek kids to 'shut up', getting extra pillows, sorting out a hire car, arranging boat trips, fixing most things and he'll give you a very comprehensive guide to the attractions on the island, marking on the map where to go and what to see. We found this so useful for getting around and called it 'Harry's tour'. The guy deserves a medal. Naoussa (and Paros itself) was much bigger, busier and better than we'd ever imagined despite watching numerous travel videos beforehand. It's predominantly Rich Americans, Canadians, Australians and Greeks (we were told the people of Cyprus love Paros). There are distinct areas of Naoussa; 'Instagram' town - the areas you will always see in the brochures with restaurants and bars right on the waterfront. A feast for the eyes but very busy, noisy and expensive. You will nearly always need to book anything here. Still, you have to do it at least once while you are there! Harbour Front - mostly restaurants disappointingly doing mainly pizzas at over-inflated prices. Harbour area to the left of the bridge - much quieter, better menus, choice of food, service and much, much cheaper. Shopping area - an absolute labyrinth of picturesque narrow winding streets where you can find bars
