"The location of the hotel is just perfect. It's only about 4-5 mins walk to Rock beach. Availed cab facility as well from them, for full day sightseeing and it was an amazing experience. The hotel staff are extremely polite and helpful. The breakfast served was flavourful and good. Overall I highly recommend choosing Bull Boutique when in Puducherry."

"The owner was kind.
The breakfast was the best thing about this place. Homemade food was superb. The south indian breakfast was really great. I have no idea why other guests were requesting western style food.
Room was okay. It was neat, but felt a bit dim. One downside was that there were noticeable numbers of mosquitoes."

For the kind of amount paid, there were better options available at a cheaper price. Don’t go by pictures on the portal, property is under renovation, construction noise during the day. Servive was good, breakfast is on order, no buffet. Toilet papers roll was missing, hair on the floor of the bathroom, shower taps not working properly, shower get / shampoo dispenser not working.

A French Quarter Gem – Simply Unforgettable!
I recently stayed at Palais de Mahe, and it was an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. The location is unbeatable—nestled right in the heart of the French Quarter and just steps away from the beach.
The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and perfectly maintained, but what really sets this hotel apart is the staff. They are hands-down the best I’ve encountered—attentive, warm, and professional.
Pro Tip: You must try the tea here. My unexpected highlight was sitting by the pool in the afternoon, sipping tea and soaking in the atmosphere. The food throughout my stay was also incredible. I can’t recommend this place enough!

A beautiful Chettinad-French Heritage Home converted to a luxury stay by CGH Earth. Very well maintained. Valet Parking is available.
This place gives a different kind of soothing vibes. Authentic and minimalist.
The staff are warm and welcoming, they will describe you about the history and activities humbly. They are also very polite and helpful too.

Lovely oasis of calm, boutique hotel in the heart of the White Town. We stayed for 2 nights. We dined at the restaraunt on the first night, the food and ambience was excellent. We also dined twice at their sister restaraunt” La Villa” which had a 7 course taster menu that was excellent and great value for money. They are also affiliated with the bar/restaraunt ”The Spot” which we really enjoyed visiting during the day for a drink and spot of lunch in a nice courtyard. Breakfast at Villa Shanti was also good and the staff were all very polite and friendly. Our room was charming and comfortable. We felt the roof terrace area could have been a more attractive area to sit out on than it was it was quite basic and felt a bit neglected but otherwise we found the hotel a great place to stay.

The hotel is located in the heart of the city, just about a kilometer away from Promenade/Rock Beach and other major attractions. However, parking could be a concern as only public parking is available.
We stayed in the Gold Room, which felt a bit congested with limited space to move around. On the bright side, the bathroom was spacious and clean.
The property carries the charm of a heritage building, as the name suggests, and the staff were very helpful and courteous.
Overall, aside from the compact room size, everything else was great for the price.

The hotel scores only for its location. Classic rooms are small with ergonomic issues. Rooms have started showing their age. However, the most disappointing is the breakfast. Forget spread, even refill takes time. Severely mismanaged - understaffed, no bowls present for taking liquid items have to keep asking staff multiple times. And they will keep only one jug of fruit juice - causing mayhem and rush among-st guests. And after 3-4 jugs they replace it with canned juice.
