The hand cream sent at check-in is so fragrant ❤️
The scenery is beautiful, but there is no dinner and breakfast.
Drinks in the refrigerator are free to drink enough and you can get them at the counter.
Not afraid of you drinking.

The hotel is excellent, with plenty of activities to do. The adjacent Busena Terrace is also open to all guests, and breakfast is available at various restaurants or in your room. The outdoor warm water spa is very comfortable. Service and facilities are excellent; there's a handwritten welcome card, and rooms are cleaned twice daily, always spotless. Many details demonstrate the hotel's thoughtful consideration for its guests. The only drawback is its inconvenient location, being relatively far from the city center. It's recommended for guests with a car (valet parking service available) or those who wish to stay at the hotel for an extended period.

Review of Onna Resort, Okinawa
About me:
I’m a frequent flyer to Japan and a long-time fan of staying at villas and resorts across the country. I enjoy discovering different accommodations across Japan. This time, I chose Onna Resort for a relaxing group trip.
⸻
👍 What I liked:
• Spacious resort– Very roomy and comfortable, easily fits 7–8 people. Perfect for families or groups of friends.
• Clean and well-maintained – The entire resort was spotless and felt well cared for.
• View exactly as shown in photos – Stunning ocean view that matches the listing. Great for enjoying sunrise and sunset.
• Beach nearby – A beach is within walking distance. While it may not be the best in Okinawa, it’s still nice for a stroll or quick swim.
• Washer and dryer setup – Includes both a washer-dryer combo and a separate dryer, which is especially handy for drying towels and clothes after swimming.
• Well-equipped kitchen – Good selection of cookware and appliances for preparing meals.
• Private and quiet surroundings – Peaceful setting with no disturbance from other guests.
⸻
👎 What could be improved:
• Inconsistent check-in information – The email offered early check-in, and a staff member via video call said I could check in at 2pm. But when I arrived, another staff said it was 3pm. This communication gap should be addressed.
• Missing basic items – No cups or glasses were provided, obviously an oversight by the cleaning staff.
• Limited towel supply – Towels are provided strictly based on headcount. Given the proximity to the beach, it would be more convenient to offer a few extra towels without needing to ask.
• Limited Coffee Supply - The resort provides coffee bags based on headcount as well, which was insufficient for guests who consume two or three cups daily. A more generous and considerate coffee supply would enhance the experience.
• Insufficient tableware – Only two large plates were provided. It would be more practical to include additional small dishes, rice bowls, and condiment plates (e.g. for soy sauce or wasabi), especially for guests who plan to cook.
• Lack of basic cooking ingredients – It would be helpful if staple items like cooking oil, salt, and pepper were provided to make meal preparation more convenient.
• No power outlets near beds – Most sockets were located low on the wall and away from sleeping areas, making it inconvenient to charge phones or devices overnight.
• Weak Wi-Fi signal in places – Internet connection was spotty in some areas of the villa, although it offers several wifi spots within the resort, but still weak

Guest UserThe staff were very kind and helpful, and they even brought our car from the parking lot to the hotel lobby. The room was clean, and we were able to spend a very meaningful time with our family. The food was delicious too. I would like to stay here again when I go to Okinawa.

Guest UserThis was my first stay at The Ritz-Carlton Okinawa. Since it was right before Christmas, there was a beautiful, large tree at the entrance, which was lovely. What I love about The Ritz-Carlton is that even though it's a big hotel, you can still enjoy a relaxed and quiet time. The room was spacious, and I truly had a very comfortable stay. The only minor thing I noticed was that the shower room seemed to have a slight odor.

1. Convenient self-service facilities:
· Transportation and Life: Plenty of parking locations are extremely friendly to self-driving tourists.
· Cooking freedom: Equipped with an induction cooker for easy home cooking, suitable for families or long stays.
· Convenient washing: Washing machine, dryer and ample drying space are all available, solving the laundry needs of long trips.
2. Private and autonomous check-in mode:
· Self-service check-in throughout the process, without frequent contact with the front desk, provides an undisturbed environment.
· Continuous stay without cleaning ensures privacy and is suitable for travelers who do not like outsiders entering and exiting the room.
Disadvantages
1. Insufficient spare parts:
Not having enough shower gel during your stay and needing to handle it yourself is the main service shortcoming that affects your stay experience.
2. Strict check-out rules:
· Check-out has to be completed earlier than 10pm and “late check-out costs extra”, lack of flexibility.
3. The check-in procedure is slightly cumbersome:
· Video staff is required to confirm that although the occupants mosquitoes are a management need, the family does not feel convenient enough.
Integrated Evaluation and Recommendations
This accommodation is more suitable for budget travelers, long-term stayers, self-drive families or a group of friends who can make the most of the kitchen and bathroom facilities and don’t mind self-service.
Not recommended for: Traditional vacationers looking for comfortable service, daily cleaning, and leisure facilities such as a hot spring.

The location of our guesthouse was incredibly convenient, situated on a side street of Nago's main street. It offered excellent amenities, with supermarkets nearby for daily necessities and the popular Donmu Ramen – a must-try! Furthermore, the guesthouse was close to nearby attractions, such as the Churaumi Aquarium and Kouri Island, all within a 30-minute drive, a huge plus for planning our itinerary.
Our room type was very comfortable. The first floor had three bedrooms and a separate bathroom/toilet; the second floor featured a living room, an open kitchen, and a family room, also with a separate bathroom/toilet. The guesthouse provided a washing machine and dryer, which was incredibly convenient for us as we needed to do laundry during our trip.
We cooked our own breakfast and dinner in the kitchen, using groceries to prepare simple late-night snacks and breakfasts. We chatted and laughed together, creating a very warm and cozy atmosphere. In the mornings, we could also go for a run along the nearby coastline, breathing in the fresh air and relaxing both body and mind.
We stayed for two nights, and this guesthouse made our entire trip even more enjoyable. I highly recommend it!

One of the best hotel I ever stayed so far.
The staff was very patience and helpful! I love how the staff there attend to their guests. I feels welcome and I really love how the resorts are designed. By the way, their chinese food “Dragon Palace” was super delicious and price are reasonable.
Will definitely recommend to my friends/ family who are travelling to Okinawa.

easily one of the best stays ever! The hotel is located right beside the sea, literally along the shoreline, and it’s incredibly quiet. You can open the balcony door, let the cool breeze in, and fall asleep to the sound of the waves — genuinely therapeutic and such a rare experience! For a city person, this place feels like a hidden gem.
The room is spacious, the bed is comfortable, and the bathroom was clean with good hot water, which was especially appreciated during the autumn season. The only thing was that Wi-Fi seem a bit unstable and took some time to connect.
Breakfast is complimentary and surprisingly good — clean, simple, and tasty, possibly reflecting a typical Okinawan-style breakfast. One of the best parts of the morning was taking a short walk along the beach right after breakfast. Overall, a very pleasant and memorable seaside stay.

I would say it's quite an old hotel but rooms were big. We had a corner room with it's own kitchenette, a sofa area with tv and 2 single beds.
We initially wanted to combine the bed as we have a toddler with us but it wasn't a viable option as the bed frames were built attached to the wall. Room is rather dirty even though we requested for room cleaning, I could feel the floor abit dusty and sticky. The bathroom curtains were also cold and had mould at the bottom (the part that's most often in touch with water).
