"The hotels around here are mostly hot spring resorts, but Yuzuki seems to have a newer design and style. There was also a Chinese-speaking staff member at check-in. It's also the closest to the coastline, so you can take a walk by the sea in the evening. Since I was traveling with my child, I booked a room with a small private bath on the balcony. There's quite a difference between the in-room experience and a full private onsen. The tub was small and open-air, allowing you to enjoy the sunset views over the coastline while soaking. However, it was raining when I went, so the sky was gloomy and there wasn't much of a view. I also booked two breakfasts, which were buffet style and quite plentiful. But my friend, unable to get a room at Yuzuki, booked a traditional Japanese onsen hotel next door, and their room rate actually included both breakfast and dinner, which is fantastic value for money. That made me a little envious."
