Valletta Hotels with Balcony

Due to some accidents, I was stranded alone on the Falkland Islands. Because the Marriott I booked before was fully booked, I chose this hotel in the center of Valletta. The hotel required check-in at 3 o'clock. Since I arrived early, it was 1 o'clock in the afternoon. I was allowed to check in~ The receptionist was very nice~ He even gave me a cup of coffee while I was waiting, and then he sent me and my luggage to the room in a very gentlemanly manner~ The flight the next day was at 7pm. I asked if I could delay my check-out time, and the receptionist happily delayed my check-out for 2 hours. The room was clean and tidy, and the toiletries provided were Balmain. The room was cleaned very diligently, and it was very safe. Nothing was missing. Except Breakfast is really a bit lackluster, everything else is perfect~

It was a nice stay. However for a 5-star hotel, there is no full body mirror, no bidet, table and chair as per description. Also, the description of room categories here in Trip. com are misleading so better to double check it first with them. For the toiletries, the hand soap, shampoo & conditioner, and shower gel are all same. I was under the impression that atleast there will be conditioner but all are same and my hair became very dry. The lotion, cotton buds were not replensihed for a 3-night stay. For the Tv, we struggled to operate and no English channel. I tried to call reception but no one’s answering. Breakfast is ok and the staffs serving breakfast were so nice and polite. Room was so clean. However as the room was in the ground floor, we always here the lift and when people are cleaning or doing things in the corridor.

We booked for the St John's but upon arrival we were kindly told we had been upgraded so I guess this review is for the Roselli. The Roselli is a 5 stars and therefore a little more expensive, however, if you can afford it I would absolutely recommend to stay there. From arrival you are treated like royalty, the staff does everything in their power to make you feel premium. We got a room with the in-room sauna and I must say it was a joy. Breakfast was incredible, the location of this hotel (and the St John's) could not be better so either way you will be in very premium location in Valetta in the middle of everything. All in al, both hotels are absolutely worth it.

A very comfortable stay in a great location in Valletta. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had very comfortable beds. Breakfast included a small buffet, plus the option to choose one item from the à la carte menu, which was a nice touch. The hotel is conveniently located in the middle of Valletta, right behind Arkadia supermarket, making it easy to grab anything you need. There is also a rooftop bar with sunbeds and a pool, perfect for relaxing after exploring the city. Another big plus is that taxis can stop directly in front of the hotel, which is rare in some parts of Valletta, and the building has an elevator. The international TV channels were also appreciated for a more relaxing evening in.

This hotel was a fantastic find - a real gem! The location was perfect for exploring Valletta, and the hotel itself was set in a stunning renovated building, with fantastic interior design features. The staff were so friendly, and willing to be flexible and helpful in any way they could. The rooms were spotlessly clean with a good range of amenities. The breakfast was just right, and you could order what you wanted the day before, so it was very personalised. There is a coffee machine in the lounge, which was free to use all day, as well as at breakfast, which was a real highlight. I loved 19 Rooms, would highly recommend it, and will definitely be coming back!

Totally beyond my expectation!! From the smiley face welcoming us when we first walked in to the home made turndown macarons to the breakfast (the chef even peeled the tomato skin!); everything impressed me. We stayed two nights in the Casa and it is my first time staying in the Valetta. The hotel focuses on service details!! Superb location - 10 to 15 mins walk to the bus terminal/ upper and lower Barrakka garden/ the ferry pier with easy access to bars, restaurants, and shops. The building itself is historical and we love the design of the room. The big in-room safe provides extra secure. But what I love the most is the team. Everyone at the reception and during breakfast service has been super amazing. Special thanks to Peter who performed the room orientation upon check-in, Matthew who assisted me with luggage and escorted me to the uber pick up point upon departure, the pretty lady Sladjana with a big smile and endless jokes that made my day, and Renniel who helped fix the issue of the basin stopper. Highly recommend Casa Ellul to everyone. Dont miss the wonderful breakfast in the morning!

Tucked away down an alley but perfectly fine inside Great service Free breakfast included from 7am onwards, though limited seating. Has pastries/bread and english bfast type warm food Rooms decently sized Location is pretty good, can get to tourist attractions within 10 mins Kind of expensive though

All the staff was very friendly, ensured that we got a nice room, the room is big than average hotels and all new. The breakfast is tasty and prepared in the moment. Most probably if I return to Malta will check this hotel again, because was a nice experience”

Très bien placé et personnel très agréable. Literie très bonne sauf pour le troisième lit. Climatisation performante. La chambre nous a semblé beaucoup plus petite que sur les photos. Malheureusement, propreté dans les chambres pas idéale. Par ailleurs, malgré nos nombreuses demandes il manquait toujours un verre une tasse ou autre pour la troisième personne et lorsqu’il s’agissait d’une serviette, la réserve étant fermée, aucune autre ne nous était donnée. Enfin, sèche cheveux fixe en panne mais remplacé après demande.

We enjoyed the moment the walked into the hotel. Zara was so friendly , we got there early so we left our luggage in safe hands. Zara recommended a variety of places to go and food restaurants which didn’t disappoint. The staff were lovely and friendly and the hotel was so clean lm super fussy . The breakfast was nice we actually enjoyed not having a full buffet to over eat. They cooked the toast for you which was very sweet not used to that. Can’t fault the place. It’s location was fantastic it was quiet so sleep was awesome . It was literally a minute walk and you were interesting in restaurants and music
