Superb location with our room overlooking the fields and a lovely swimming pool with loungers- again with countryside views. Extensive grounds including a large pond and vegetable garden. Good A/C in room and poolside bar - essential when we were there as 42 degrees and too hot to eat outside. Pool restaurant serves breakfast (simple menu) and lunch/dinner meals. Disappointing that the main restaurant was closed during our stay so we had dinner in the pool bar which lacked atmosphere. Room was large and had a good bathroom - could probably do with a light refresh at some point. Good hotel to base yourself at for a couple of days to see the wonderful Sukothai and Si Satchanalai temple complexes.

We stayed for 2 nights at the Loy Kraton Festival. We arrived at Sukhothai Airport at 8:20 and were able to send us to the front of this inn by shuttle bus. 6 There was a passenger and he dropped me off at each hotel. It was convenient to pick me up at the inn on my way home. It is 300 baht one way. I arrived after 9 o'clock and checked in, but I was told that the room could be used from 14 o'clock, so I rented a free bicycle and went to the historical park. When I came back around 12 o'clock, I was happy to be guided to my room. The festival venue is held in the historic park with the ruins and is held until about 10 pm. It's about a 10-minute walk from this inn, so even a woman at night was able to walk with peace of mind. There is a convenience store, restaurant, and massage shop on the way, which is lively. My husband always smiled and smiled. It was 301 right from the stairs on the 3rd floor, but it was a large and beautiful room. It was comfortable because the towels were fluffy and pure white. The difficulty was that the key to the glass door on the veranda was broken and it didn't close, so I was unconscious. Fireworks will rise at 20:00 and 22:30 at the festival, but I was impressed to see it from the stairs corridor on the 3 floor. 1 There is always hot water ・ water coffee ・ tea banana cup noodles in the dining room on the floor, and it was helpful to eat and drink for free. The bicycle was also placed on the 20~30 stand and was free to use without refusing, which was very helpful during the hot day. I couldn't eat breakfast at 6 when I checked out, but I was happy to have bananas, oranges and coins. It is an inn where even a woman can stay with peace of mind.

This was part of a package tour. The property is quite charming and rustic...with a Thai feel throughout. The room itself was a bit quirky but in a good way. There is a river flowing through the middle of the property with lots of trees. This is good and bad since there seems to be a lot of mosquitos. The restaurant had decent breakfast and dinner. The property is close to the historic landmarks. It is possible to walk out of the property for local restaurants.

We felt very welcomed at this hotel. The manager always greeted and very helpful throughout our stay. The pool area was nice to sit back and relax. The room has everything you need. I specially love the balcony and seating area. The hotel is about 5 mins drive from the ancient city park!! The hotel is quite small - probably about 15 rooms so they don’t have restaurants but you can order food from outside at the lobby or just walk to the city to grab local foods. I really recommend this hotel.

Great place to chill. If you stay a few days, make sure you get a room overlooking the ponds so you can relax on your balcony in beautiful surroundings. Rooms are clean and comfortable, but you do need to get used to the early morning cock crows and radio wake-up call at the back. The lady on the front desk seemed a bit abrupt at first, but turned out to be really friendly and helpful. We rented bikes from here for 90 Baht a day. They need maintenance so check the brakes and seat before you set off. Yes, you can rent bikes near the park entrance for 40 or 50, but you have yo get there first. We also needed them to get to the Phum Por and Sinvana restaurants. The hotel restaurant is ok, but the others offer much better choice and fare. Breakfast is the usual Asian 3-star Hotel offering

The hotel is in a green location with good services, including bikes and electric charge. However rooms are not well maintained, seem to be old and uncared. The restaurant does not offer a variety of good quality food. Overall the price is appropriate for this type of location if you are not expecting something great.

We have stayed at a variety of accommodation types on our 12months of travels and this is the only one we walked away from due to the following reasons. 1. Appalling check in. 2. Aggressive manager 3. Lost trust in all staff We turned up to an empty hotel, nobody insight, we soon found out why. Booking.com details welcoming drinks, room service amongst other normal resort features however this doesn’t happen, to the point the check-in staff couldn’t be bothered to show us which room was ours. We understand being in Thailand not everybody speaks English but many Thai people can assist without speaking English, the Thai staff have no interest in wanting help and are happy to pretend they can’t so they don’t have to help. Commutation was through a translator on the phone, who eventually came down to answer some questions to which we found out was the manager. Meeting this guy is what lead is to feeling uncomfortable and unsafe, with his aggressive interruptions and careless manner, comparing the cost of England to the service he had provided, consisting telling us ‘I have served you, what else do you want?’ Our questions were, 1. Can you arrange a Tuk-Tuks into old town? 2. Do you provide bicycles? 3. Do you offer breakfast? Our questions were easy hotel like question when you have just arrived. To be fare to the hotel the room was beautiful and spacious, but the hotel surrounding are ugly and cold. After we decided to leave the hotel for other accommodation the manager said he would sort out a refund, this was an obvious lie and we have received no money back. We went Tharaburi Resort next door and our faith was restored into the kindness of Thia people.

Excellent value for this beautiful place. Room was big very clean and comfortable. Bathroom was also big and very well appointed with nice thick fresh towels. Lots of hot water and reasonable pressure in the shower. Nice courtyard and pool area. Delicious breakfast. Amazing value for all the charm and comfort this place offers in very close proximity to all the historical Temples.

GGuest UserWe loved our stay here and it was one of our favourite hotels on a 3 week tour of Thailand. Even before our arrival our correspondence with Poolsin was friendly and efficient and she kindly booked our buses and taxis which was incredibly helpful. The room/bathroom was very clean with lovely decor. The pool was a good size and temperature (surprised how cold some others were) and a welcome relief from the heat. Very good breakfast provided and they sell drinks, beers, ice creams to refresh you during the day/evening. The location was perfect for visiting the sites (hired bikes from the hotel). There’s a very pretty restaurant next door and others back towards the town only 10 minute walk. Definitely much better than the places we saw in the Main Street. Thank you for making our trip to Sukhothai perfect!
GGuest UserWe had a most delightful experience at smiling face guest house. It is a fabulous location, couple of minutes to local market and then out front of market to some extremely good restaurants. The hosting family are so very lovely and helpful. We were given a map on arrival and explained a bit about what to see in Sukhothai. Guest house has free bikes for guest use, so off we went to the historical park, awesome, but best on a bike, not a walk, too much to see. Anyway back to smiling face, the room was spotless and the vibe was friendly and comfy. We had a really positive experience and I would recommend anyone to stay here and see the wonders of Sukhothai. Don’t miss weekend night market!
GGuest UserWe stayed in the Foresto Guest House and loved the place. Rooms are large and very comfortable with a terrace outside. There's a really nice swimming pool for a welcome dip after a day's sightseeing. The breakfast was really enjoyable and everyone working there is so friendly. We had a minor problem with the bathroom which the manager, Sun, seemed really upset about. He got it fixed quickly then refused to let us pay for the laundry we'd had done as an apology. Nothing is too much truble for him. I highly recommend Foresto for anyone visiting Sukhothai.
QQIANThe environment is very good, pay attention to the location in the new city, not the old city, and 12 kilometers from Sukhothai Historical Park, but because of the environment, especially the service is very good, and there are free cars to send you to the bus station or bus station, so this point Distance is not a problem anymore. The front desk service is really professional and good. The swimming pool is very clean, there are basically no Chinese, all foreigners.
Our house is relatively simple, I don’t know if the expensive ones are different, but the facilities are complete.
Bar’s restaurant is more expensive than outside, but the environment is good, we go for a drink every night. It tastes good when cooked. If you don’t want to eat in the store, there are also night market roadside stalls and fruits within a short walk, which is not bad. In short, if you don't want to live in the old city, or stay in Sukhothai for more than 2 days, this is a good choice.
GGuest UserI really like this hotel. From check-in until check-out, everything was perfect. The entire place was super clean and looked and functioned as though it was brand new. The room was on the 2nd floor and had a large comfy bed, table and chairs, dressing table, fridge and kettle, smart TV with apps, and hot shower. Wish there was a bedside table with a reading lamp. Nice view looking over the swimming pool. The pool was refreshing, and was the cleanest pool I've swam in for quite a long time. Location is set off the main road, about 10 minutes walk. Slight inconvenience but worth it for the quiet sleep. Staff were great. Wish I could have stayed longer.
GGuest UserLocation is probably main plus for Pai Sukothai resort with it's relative close location to the centre of the town. The night market area is literally a 5 minute walk away and even closer there's a bunch of nice restaurants and bars to chill out at after a day exploring. The bus terminal is about a 20 minute walk or 5 minute tuk tuk ride away. Not all staff speak English, none of them when we arrived, which caused a bit of confusion as they couldn't find our booking. But a phone call sorted it all out and we were checked in. Breakfast was good with some mornings the option to choose from a few set menu options and other mornings the same ingredients where available in buffet form (probably because they had much more people staying that night). The room was spacious and cleaned every day, bed was comfortable and large and there was even a sofa in the room. Only thing that isn't as glamorous as the photos anymore is the swimming pool area. Still able to swim if you want and clean just a little more run down than the pictures. Still think this is a great option if you're planning to stay in Sukothai.
JJuanK RuzThis standard hotel offers a decent value for a private room and private parking, especially if you're traveling by car or motorcycle. However, be prepared for a bit of a workout if you're assigned a room on the third floor, as there's no elevator. The location can feel a bit isolated, particularly if you don't have your own transportation. Despite these minor drawbacks, the friendly and helpful staff make the stay more pleasant. If you're just passing through and need a budget-friendly place to stay with parking, this hotel is a solid choice.
GGuest UserI was here for 10 days during the lantern festival. Chose this place for the price and the location (right next door to the bus station) and was pleasantly suprised by my room, which was enormous and the shower was much better than it looked, plus the wifi was good too. So excellent value for money but it was the staff who get this place a 5 star review . The staff could not have been more helpful and really go out of their way to answer all guests questions. I hired a scooter for a week and they gave me a very good price and a nice bike too. I was worried about noise, being so close to the bus station but there are hardly any busses so no noise at all.
