Hotels Near Wisata Bukit Tinggian in Bali

This place is located closer to Banjar Nyuh Harbor which makes travel to/from harbor easy. However there are very few restaurants nearby. The hotel itself is good quite place, but dont expect much. There are no cupboards or safe to store clothes, valuables, Cash. Breakfast was a joke as they gave very limited quantity of just 1 choice out of 3/4 options. Overall below average.

The location is not far to the harbor and the price was cheaper for a waterfront than other accommodations in the area. We walked to the harbor along the shore in about 20-30 minutes at a leisurely pace. The best part of the stay was the view from the balcony. We had a great view of the shore and when the clouds parted, the volcano. Taxis drive by if you walk a few properties down and offer to drive you. There is not a store or mini mart close to the property so you will want to bring any snacks or extra drinks with you. There is a mini fridge and kettle. (Mambo down the street had a cafe with a great breakfast and the same views as this property). The property seems to have built new in an up and coming area. Some buildings near it are under renovation. It looks pretty trashy from the street (and if you brought rolling suitcases will have to roll them through trash and the renovation), but inside the room was clean and the shower was pleasant. There are not many amenities for the property itself and the staff was either new or ill trained. If you are only staying a night or 2 while touring the island this would probably meet your needs. If you are planning to hang out and stay on property longer I would recommend paying more for another. Not bad but I would send friends and family elsewhere.

The hotel is generally good,  The hotel has only six rooms. It is recommended to live in the upper unit. The landscape will be more open.  The sound insulation is relatively poor. In the morning, you will hear the chicken reputation of the chicken house behind the hotel. The hotel has a simple breakfast for the beach water and sand. But the terrace has another flavor. 

We had an incredible stay at Arsa Hotel in Nusa Penida, Bali. The moment we walked into the hotel, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff. The hotel had a beautiful and serene ambiance that made us feel instantly relaxed and at home. The rooms were spacious, well-decorated, and had all the necessary amenities. The highlight was the stunning pool area from our balcony. The pool is perfect for a refreshing dip after a day of exploring the island. Not only did Arsa Hotel provide excellent accommodation, but their customer service was also top-notch. The staff was always eager to assist us with anything we needed and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. The hotel’s restaurant offered a delicious array of local and international cuisine, and we were particularly impressed with the breakfast. The hotel also organised various excursions and guided tours, allowing guests to explore the natural beauty and cultural richness of Nusa Penida. Overall, our stay at Arsa Hotel was truly unforgettable, and we cannot wait to visit again in the future.

My husband and I were in Maua for our short trip to Nusa Penida during our 2-week honeymoon in Bali, and we can both agree without hesitation that Maua was absolutely the best hotel we have ever stayed at, not just in this trip but ever, in terms of overall experience. Upon arrival, we were immediately stunned by how beautiful view from the hotel reception area was when we walked down the stairs from the parking lot. We started to appreciate the aesthetics of the hotel even more when the manager, Ka Ka told us about the difficulties of building this hotel from scratch, especially transporting the construction materials all the way from Bali to Nusa Penida through the small and bumpy roads on the island. And as you stay there longer and observe more, you can really tell that a lot of time, effort and thoughts have been put into the architecture, interior design and environment of the whole place. We must say, however, that all has been paid off because the execution was nothing less than perfect. Maua consists of a number of private villas which were built on a mountain slope. We stayed at Villa No. 323 at the most bottom with a private infinity pool overlooking the gorgeous Gamat Bay with a sunset view. Buggies would be arranged for sending us down and picking us up upon a quick phone call, even at 5 a.m. in the morning one day when we wanted to watch the sunrise. The breakfast was the most generous and sumptuous we had in Bali and the presentation and taste was on point. The free flow pastries were a nice touch, and the French toast was the best I have ever had. We also tried their restaurant for dinner on one night and were very satisfied with their Western options. Needless to say, and I am sure all the guests would agree, the hotel staff members were what made Maua extra special - you can just feel that everyone working there were genuinely enjoying their work and happy about their life there, and they care about the well-being of the guests from the bottom of their hearts and it really shows. To the whole Maua crew, especially our dear friends, Dinda, Ayu, and Kaka, we would like to give a big thank you to you all for making our stay so memorable and flawless. Thank you for showering us with surprised snacks, late night cakes, welcome and goodbye drinks (and even giving us the recipe for it without us asking) and your warming smiles. The lovely conversations we had and the laughter we shared will forever stay in our hearts. We are missing our stay at Maua so much after checking out and would definitely visit Nusa Penida again just so we can stay with Maua.

The resort is in the mountains.. Not recommended for beginners as the road on a motorbike or scooter is very dangerous... If you rent a car and use a driver, it's okay. Compared to other resorts or bungalow facilities nearby, it is more comfortable, the room is spacious, the swimming pool is tidy, the customer service, the overall atmosphere, and the food tastes great, so I recommend it. However, the slope of the access road from the road to the resort is steep and dangerous, and scooters and motorcycles can slip and get injured, so be careful. If you have a motorcycle or scooter, just don't make a reservation. And you can't watch TV inside. When I asked the reception, they said that they couldn't connect because it hadn't been long since the phone's Wi-Fi signal was picked up. Please note. There is Crystal Bay nearby. It's really pretty, the atmosphere is nice, and everything is good, but the road there is really, really dangerous.. Never use a scooter because the slope is too steep... If you fall or slip, you will inevitably get seriously injured. I witnessed a white couple fall and bleed and break their legs... It's not just the way to Crystal Bay, but Nusa Penida's famous tourist destinations. You can easily find unpaved roads wherever you go, and the roads are narrow, steep, and steep, and there are many cliffs, so it's very dangerous. There are many accidents because of this.. Drive safely unconditionally... When choosing a destination, be sure to consider…

Our stay at Batu Karang has been absolutely divine. The hotel grounds and pools are impeccable and the rooms are very well appointed. I recommend booking a room with a private plunge pool if you have the option. We never needed to swim elsewhere having access to this refreshing and completely private oasis. The food at Muntigs and The Deck is lovely (very generous breakfasts). There are also many other dining options nearby (walking distance) and I believe had we been so inclined, we could have ordered delivery from a local Warung. Yes, room service option is nice when you can’t be bothered, but imagining the staff having to deal with the palaver of this based on the geography of the location, I can totally understand why this is not available. Getting to and from the rooms on the steep slope was never an issue for us (two middle-aged, not particularly fit people). The walk down is easy enough, and we never waited more than 2 minutes for a buggy ride back up to our room. We had two massages at Lulur spa and would have had more if not for spending a couple of days off-site exploring Lembongan. Staff were very helpful in arranging buggy hire on two occasions so we could head off to explore the island. Unfortunately, I do not have a great deal of photos to share as we were too busy enjoying our exquisite stay. We will be back!

This was the most expensive stay we booked for our months travel through Bali and the islands.I was so looking forward to the one night that we had booked there at $300 a night.We were early so waited in the restaurant area for 1.5 hours and had some lunch until the room was ready.The restaurant looks run down too and in desperate need of a repaint with stains and it just looked old and this place isnt that old.Staff were good.Beautiful views of Blue Lagoon and the food was OK.Into our room which was a Seaview cottage but you dont have a sea view at all.I stood on our couch on tippy toes and could just make out the sea in the background.The unit is fenced for privacy but you have no views at all except for bamboo fencing.You have a private pool which was cold and so over chlorinated that I had to shower after being in the pool because you stunk of chlorine.Room was nice but small and the bathroom was pretty too but the shells hanging around the shower were missing shells and had seen better days.Better to remove them than to have the broken strands hanging there,BEER....Big problem getting a cold beer.There must be no rotation of the beers being put into the fridge and 4 times we had to return beers that were hot(husband not happy about that).No breakfast for $300 a night and had to be purchased but was nice.I would not book here again but would recommend coming for lunch or dinner to soak up the view.That never got old and you could see turtles floating around in the bay.Underwhelming would be how I describe the Villas.Mini Mart up the road for supplies if you need them and cold beer

The perfect escape one can dive into to detox from the hustle and bustle of city life! The owners were amazingly helpful especially in attending to my every need. They were a great help in sharing the various places of interest available for me to venture to. Their warm welcome was quite the highlight of my time spent on Nusa Lembongan. The villa itself was well kept and very strategically located. It us quite literally a stone's throw away from Dream Beach! And I have the option of taking a dip in the pool should the sea appear too daunting for a swim. Definitely going back soon!

Bernie and I stayed at Akah Cottages for just under a week and were pleasantly surprised by the high level of hospitality and customer service provided by the owner and her staff. The rooms were beautifully maintained and demonstrated a love for the property itself. We had dinner one night at the restaurant and the home-cooked meals were authentic and delicious. After staying at supposed '5-star' accommodation back in Bali, these ritzy hotels didn't come close to Akah in terms of true attention to detail, care and customer service. Our host was lovely and we will definitely be coming back. Thanks for taking such good care of us! Olivia & Bernie
