The hotel is perfect, there's nothing negative to say. The rooms are clean, airy, spacious; the pool is ideal for cooling off. The breakfast is varied, service is perfect. Throughout our stay, there was constant attention and care. Warm and sincere. They don't overdo it. Many thanks to Mr. Angga at check-in, Ms. Sunsak at the restaurant, and Hendra for evening housekeeping. The beach bar is wonderful, prices are not exaggerated. The fire dance dinner is definitely recommended. The beach walk, Icon Bali is only 10-15 minutes away; on the other side, there are small warung restaurants and little shops. We definitely recommend it. With our 80-year-old mother, we had a very comfortable holiday.

Had an enjoyable time at the resort during my stay. The room was clean, spacious and luxurious. Location was good with easy access to the beach on one end and the main road and eating places, shops etc on the other. Can’t wait to go back!

Our second stay at the Maya, this time in a Wonderful Nest room. Spacious and spotlessly clean including the bathroom. Comfy bed and choice of pillows. Quiet room. Buffet/a la carte breakfast was great - lots of choice and not much waiting time. We had lunch at the main restaurant and dinner at Rue. Both were very good, especially at Rue. Even though it was peak time, the pool was never too busy and we always managed to get sun lounges, no matter what time of day. Staff at the Maya are very friendly. Lots of offers such as daily 2 for 1 smashed burgers, 1/2 price on certain days at Rue including drinks and daily Happy hour (2 hours really) at the Tree Bar and unlike a lot of hotels, includes most of their bar menu. Location is very good, close to shopping on the main street or walk along the boardwalk to many eateries. The resort is not too big, so it feels intimate, friendly and quiet. Overall, a great stay and we will definitely return again.

Inside the room, the amenities are well-stocked and diverse, and the bedding is exceptionally comfortable, contributing to restful nights. Notably, unlike many older resorts in Sanur, Maya Sanur feels refreshingly modern—likely due to its relatively recent construction. This is particularly noticeable in the cleanliness of the tap water, which felt significantly better than at many neighboring properties. However, there are a few areas where the experience could be improved. The sunbed on the private balcony tends to become completely soaked during heavy rain, and the cushions take a long time to dry. As a result, the balcony seating is difficult to use during the rainy season, and some form of rain protection would greatly enhance usability. Additionally, the Chromecast function on the in-room TV did not work reliably, making it frustrating to stream or enjoy personal content during downtime. Overall, Maya Sanur Resort & Spa offers a sophisticated and family-friendly luxury stay, with excellent facilities, attentive services, and modern comforts that set it apart from other resorts in the area. While a few practical issues remain—particularly during the rainy season—the resort remains an excellent choice for travelers seeking a high-end and well-rounded experience in Sanur.
