Park Inn by Radisson Beijing Tongzhou Universal Resort

I was very satisfied with my stay. The check-in process at the front desk was quick, and the staff were very welcoming. I was happy with the room facilities and the breakfast. The best part is its proximity to Universal Studios, with a convenient shuttle service provided.

This hotel is honestly the most frustrating one I've encountered on my travels so far. I usually book 4-star hotels, and I visit Beijing almost once a month. I used to book Hampton Inn more often, but now that my child is a bit older, I've started looking for family-friendly options. This time, I chose this hotel specifically for its 'Bay' (presumed kid's club/activity area). Let me describe this frustrating experience. We arrived at the hotel around 3 PM, driving directly into the underground parking (the hotel signage indicated EV charging stations, but there weren't any in reality). When we went upstairs to check in, the front desk apologized, saying they were doing electrical repairs next door and couldn't process check-ins at the moment. They told us to go out and come back in an hour. I was speechless but didn't say much (I understood special circumstances). I then mentioned we'd go get our car since we didn't see any charging stations downstairs. The front desk then claimed there was no charging in the basement and that the elevators were all out, suggesting we take the subway to go out. I told them I drove here, why would I take the subway? So I went back down, and surprisingly, the elevators were working. (Speechless again). We ended up just going to 'Bay' and returned in the evening to check in. When we finally got into the room, I was utterly stunned (please see my pictures). It was dirty in various ways, and several things weren't working. The unusable showerhead was the last straw, so I contacted the front desk to request a room change. However, a repairman and housekeeping staff came up instead. They immediately started explaining that the stains were left by previous guests, etc. I'm not one to be difficult... but it was too late to drag my child around. So, I just went to sleep without showering. I had booked for two nights but ended up canceling the second night. This hotel is worse than a roadside motel. Oh, and the soundproofing is terrible. The parking lot design is also incredibly illogical; you have to do a three-point turn just to navigate a corner. You can't make a turn in one go. Don't believe me? Go try it yourself. Also, there are charging stations on the ground level, but when I tried to charge, it showed 'offline.' Everything about this place is just bad. I hope everyone avoids this hotel.

This hotel is pretty good. The auntie even helped us do our laundry when we went out for dinner. Really appreciate it!

Traveling with family, this is hands down my kids' favorite hotel! It has a fantastic vintage vibe, and with two toilets, the kids didn't have to fight over them. The room was clean and tidy, and the front desk service was very responsive and accommodating. What's more, every staff member we encountered greeted us politely. We'll definitely be back!

The room was spacious, the bedding comfortable, and the air conditioning worked great. The elevator was a bit slow. Breakfast had a decent variety, but the quality of ingredients could be improved, especially the bacon and sausages. Guests could enjoy the buffet dinner for 68, which was generally good value for the price. They had lamb skewers, but the roast duck and chicken clearly looked like they came from vacuum-sealed packages. The steak didn't quite live up to the pictures. Ordering takeout is a convenient option to supplement your meals.

The house is quite nice, my kids especially loved it. The breakfast was tasty, though not very extensive.
