UrCove by HYATT Beijing Forbidden City
"We checked in on Sunday morning and were warmly welcomed by a helpful receptionist who assisted with luggage storage. Hotel room is clean, spacious, and well-furnished. The hotel location is great, between Tiananmen Square and Wangfujing. However, scaffolding was set up around the building due to repair works. Despite this, the staff handled things well—helping us change rooms, fixing minor issues, and even returning items we left behind. A staff member named Baozi stood out for his professionalism and helpfulness, especially when assisting us with Didi transport for our group and luggage. Breakfast was average but convenient, starting at 6:30 a.m., though we missed it one day due to an early trip to the Badaling Great Wall."

Manxin Mansion Beijing Xiushuihu Hot Spring
"The service and quality were excellent. They helped us with our luggage when we checked in and even gave us a souvenir when we left, which was incredibly thoughtful. The breakfast was noteworthy, a perfect blend of Chinese and Western cuisine, and very rich. The living environment truly embodies the Suzhou garden style. The hot springs nourish the body, and the ethereal music soothes the soul – we truly experienced the essence of 'Manxin'. In the evening, there was even a light and fountain show, a poetic dwelling that perfectly blends classical and modern elements. The complimentary photography service was also a pleasant surprise. All in all, it was a truly wonderful stay. Just one small suggestion: the guzheng in the garden needs to be tuned regularly, as many people love and are skilled at playing it, which would encourage more interaction and performances."

Guoce International Conference and Exhibition Center Hotel
"I have stayed at this hotel a night. I have contacted with someone and talked for 9 minutes about scheduled a shuttle bus with the phone number at Trip.com a day ago we arrived. But there was happened several things as shown below, 1. There was no one were waiting for us at the Arrival area of the airport. 2. Then we find the information desk of the Beijing Capital International airport to ask her to call to the hotel. The phone number was the same number was talking yesterday. But the reception of that hotel was now nothing about we are arriving and told her that the shuttle bus after 8:00 PM will be 100 RMB. 3. I was confused and cached taxi, so it was only 20 RMB distance. Also the taxi driver was trying to have more money. So I gave him 30 RMB. 4. The reception of that hotel was completely nothing understand in English and seemed have no possibility to discuss about this happen. Also didn't explain us anything about breakfast time, wifi password, dining places, working time of swimming pool and sauna, also shuttle bus to the airport. 5. We have arrived at 8:30 PM, and we needed to have dinner and asked a guy from hotel about where to find restaurant and he called us a taxi and told us will be call a taxi for us, so we changed our Wechat addresses. Then the guy wrote us to catch a taxi yourselves from the street. Then restaurants cashier said no to us to call a taxi. 6. So we go out and show the hotel address to several taxies, but no one knows that address. So we walked and luckily asked a taxi who tried hard to find the hotel address and found it after long time find thought applications. But the taxi asked us much more money to take us to the hotel. But that was only 10 min drive distance. 7. I called to the room service which is pushed 0 from room phone, and a lady who was speaking in English said their manager will contact me back when I told her about shuttle bus didn't arrive. Then there are no ones contacted me back. 8. I have talked with another guy who was speaking English when I get my room, with a phone of the guy who let us to our room, he said that the swimming pool and massage will be start at 10:00 AM in the morning, but it was opened 8:00 AM when I come to the swimming pool and SPA. So I wondered why customer service of this hotel working so poor. But the hotel and room was nice, but the customer service is so poor seemed for me. I just wanted to write about this for other hotel guests to be careful. Thanks, Best regards,"

Sofitel Beijing Central
"Seventeen Years Apart, Service as Warm as Ever – A Heartfelt Thank You to Sofitel Time flies, years pass, yet some beautiful encounters, even after many years, still shine brightly in my heart; some brands, even across long spans of time, can maintain their original intent and warmth. For me, the name Sofitel is stored in the annals of time, etched in my memory, a gentleness and wonder that hasn't faded in seventeen years. I am a civil servant from a provincial-level agency in Shanxi. My work is usually rigorous and practical, and business trips are commonplace. However, my trip to Boao, Hainan, in November 2009, and my stay at the Sofitel Boao, became the most unforgettable travel experience of my life over a decade ago. Even now, thinking back, my heart is filled with warmth and admiration. During that business trip, I was arranged to stay at the Sofitel Boao, Hainan. The moment I stepped into the hotel, I was deeply impressed by its exquisite quality. The overall decor was magnificent and grand, exuding an air of high-end elegance everywhere. All the facilities were advanced, complete, and thoughtfully arranged, showcasing the extraordinary quality of a five-star hotel. The hotel's internal layout was ingenious, with a sprawling circular corridor. When I first arrived, I slowly strolled along the corridor, admiring it, and found myself walking for a full twenty minutes without even finding my room. This alone demonstrated the hotel's vast scale and intricate design, giving me my first taste of its grandeur and uniqueness. The hotel's excellent location was even more captivating. My room was only about a hundred meters from the sea. Opening the window, I could see the boundless blue ocean. After nightfall, I fell asleep to the gentle sea breeze and the sound of waves, all the fatigue from the day's work dissipated, leaving only peace and comfort. Behind the hotel, there were also thirty to forty unique medicinal hot spring pools. Each spring was named after a Chinese medicinal herb, such as Astragalus, Goji berry, and Ginseng, infusing the water with nourishing properties. After a day of work and meals, immersing myself in the warm herbal hot springs, enjoying the coconut breeze and sea charm, and relaxing my mind and body, was a leisure and healing experience unlike any ordinary trip. What touched me most was the hotel's ingrained, exceptional service. During my stay, I happened to notice the emergency pull cord in the room. Curious, I gently pulled it, expecting it to be just a decorative emergency feature. To my surprise, within five minutes, hotel staff swiftly arrived, polite and professional, patiently and meticulously addressing my query without any complaint. This small test made me genuinely feel that Sofitel's quality is not just superficial showmanship, but a responsibility and commitment embodied in every detail and every second of response. At that time, the Sofitel Boao, whether it was the luxurious living environment, the unique geographical advantages, or the thoughtful and warm service, perfectly met all the expectations of a high-end travel experience, deeply imprinting the name “Sofitel” in my memory. However, regretfully, this hotel, which held so many beautiful memories for me, was later officially renamed Boao Asia Forum Hotel, and the name “Sofitel” was no longer to be seen. That ultimate beautiful travel experience became an unrepeatable old memory in my heart, and every time I think of it, I am filled with regret. I had thought that this beautiful memory from seventeen years ago would remain only in my recollections. Unexpectedly, seventeen years later, fate quietly intervened again. In 2026, I took my family to Beijing for a trip. Faced with numerous five-star hotels on the market, I was momentarily conflicted. Among many brands, the name Sofitel suddenly caught my eye, instantly stirring up the warm memories buried for seventeen years. There was both nostalgia and anticipation in my heart: After seventeen years, could that ultimate beauty be replicated? With this mixture of apprehension and expectation, I resolutely chose the Sofitel Beijing. And it proved that my choice was not wrong, and Sofitel never let down my trust. During check-in, the hotel operator, Luna, was attentive and warm. Learning that we were traveling as a family, she proactively upgraded our standard room to a spacious and comfortable family suite for free, greatly enhancing our family's stay experience. Considering that we were traveling with a child and our schedule was inconvenient, she specially arranged for a late check-out, saving us from the rush of packing and checking out on time. There was no deliberate courtesy, no complicated procedures, just a genuine consideration for the guests' needs, and with practical and thoughtful measures, she made me feel an immediate sense of kindness and warmth. Seventeen years is enough to change many things, enough for many memories to slowly fade. Yet, Sofitel's brand craftsmanship and original service intent have not changed one bit. Seventeen years ago, by the sea in Boao, it left me with an unforgettable business trip memory with its exceptional environment and swift service. Seventeen years later, in Beijing, it reawakened that feeling of感动 and recognition with its thoughtful upgrades and warm conveniences. From Boao, Hainan, to the capital Beijing, from 2009 to 2026, spanning seventeen years of ups and downs, what has changed is the spatial distance, the travel scene. What remains unchanged is Sofitel's consistent brand quality, and the sincerity and professionalism etched into its service. It is not just a hotel brand, but a trustworthy promise of quality, a commitment to craftsmanship that remains warm across time. Seventeen years have passed like a shuttle, but the original intention remains unchanged; seventeen years and mountains and seas apart, the warmth endures. Thank you, Sofitel, for leaving me with an ultimately beautiful seaside memory during my official duties. Thank you, Sofitel, for providing a thoughtful and warm welcome on my journey with my family. This seventeen-year two-way journey, this enduring quality refined by time, has already become a gentle yet brilliant highlight in my life's journey. From now on, whenever I travel, Sofitel will always be my most confident and reassuring choice. I salute this beauty that transcends time and am grateful for this consistent warmth."
Grand Hyatt Beijing at Oriental Plaza
"Facilities: The hotel environment is excellent, and the location is superb. Both the hotel entrance and lobby are grand. Metro lines 1 and 8 are connected to the hotel's B1 level and a shopping mall, and it's just a 5-minute walk to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. The breakfast is fantastic, and the room air conditioning is very strong, which is great for people who get hot easily. Cleanliness: Everything is exceptionally clean from all aspects. The room was cleaned promptly, and the cleaning staff were very meticulous and responsible. They even neatly folded my child's pajamas, which was so thoughtful it almost made us feel embarrassed. Service: From Ms. Zuo Siman during check-in to our butler Amy, everyone was incredibly warm and welcoming. Their service attitude was truly nice; they met every request and answered every question. They even upgraded our room for free. During our stay, butler Amy was quick to assist with any needs we had. Summary: Among all the hotels I've stayed in domestically, this Grand Hyatt is the only one I would want to return to again. I especially want to commend the front desk staff Ms. Zuo Siman and our butler Amy. My satisfaction with this stay far exceeded my expectations!"

The vending machines in the lobby were well-stocked with daily necessities, making last-minute purchases very convenient. The hotel offers a large, free parking lot with plenty of easy-to-find spaces, and the addition of charging stations is a thoughtful touch, especially great for drivers and electric vehicle owners, solving a big travel problem. The room was clean and tidy, making for a comfortable stay. The hotel has clearly put a lot of thought into its guest amenities and pays attention to the small details.
