"The place was in massive need of renovation, the drains were smelly and taking a shower in this bathroom made me feel dirtier than before the shower.
Saying that, the location was very close to my bus pickup for the great wall. And the staff were absolutely fantastic! Very friendly and very helpful, they gave me a free room upgrade to a bigger room as I had so much luggage and they also kept a luggage for me for three days for free. If I was ranking based on the staff only, I would give them 5 starts."

"Located near Tian'anmen Square and lots of restaurants and shopping. But because it's in the center of the city, there's lots of traffic if you decide to travel by taxi. The hotel was acceptable, but definitely could use some maintenance/cleaning. The carpet looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years. There was a lot of hard water residue on the shower faucet. Standing in the shower creaked and bowed slightly.
There's a 24hr ”restaurant,” but it's more fast food/snacks.
*** This hotel has 3 names?? When I made the reservation on Trip.com the name was Yitingzhenshe Hotel. That's what's on my confirmation email. But at some point the name on Trip.com changed to Yard Hotel Beijing. BUT the name on the key card holder they gave me is Xin Mingji Hotel."

"I had a fantastic stay at the Holiday Inn Express Beijing Dongzhimen. The staff was super friendly and helpful, really taking care of all the details to make my 9-day stay super smooth. The room was spacious, spotless, and in excellent condition, with a very comfortable bed—the best sleep I’ve had in a while, thanks to how quiet and dark the room was at night. I also enjoyed a lovely view from the window. The location near Sanlitun is excellent, with plenty to do and see nearby. Breakfast was great with a wide selection and fresh options. Overall, a wonderful stay—highly recommended!"

"The location is good easy walking to the nearest mall for about 7mins. The hotel room is very spacious for putting 3 large luggages. The bed is clean and very comfy but the two pillows were too soft which would even better if could have one of the two pillows was harder kind. The bathroom door was made of wooden slide door that was difficult to slide open and close without a handle, which could easily injure if someone pushed the door too hard to close it. Bathroom had no hanging hooks for hanging that could easily be improved. Overall a quotes good hotel to stay. Location is close to forbidden city that could reach by walking about 20-30 mins to Shengwu men."

"Clean and spacious Deluxe room, nice air condition system, automatic light, etc. But service is poor. Nothing is explained for non-chinese tourists. At the reception they just take your passport without ”Welcome” or smth like this, do smth without any explanation or friendly look, and give it back with some paper pieces. Without asking you don't even know what it is (it is coupons for supper). In the dining hall there is no navigation. Only if you ask by yourself, chef-lady points at saucepan and says: noodles or dumplings? And nothing further. It appeared, when they prepared noodles (without any meat) or dumplings (with pork), you should come to her again and choose a topping: soup or ONE of four sauces. I tried to get one spoon of two different sauces, and they were like ”You can't do that!!”. Also, poor English.
And in the night there was an alarm clock beeping in the room at 4:45 and 5:00 am. Obviously, one of the previous clients set it, but they didn't reset it. Awful.
Shuttle bus from the airport: schedule doesn't work right. They say it goes 5 min after you contact them (via phone or you can ask manager at the airport service desk), but we were waiting 50 mins. Only when one of us called them via phone again, they said ”Oh, hm, strange. We will contact the driver.” 5 min later, he arrived."

"So far very satisfied with this apartment, the owner provides complete directions to the location, how to enter the apartment. The environment in this apartment building is safe, not noisy and I feel comfortable going in and out of the apartment.
The apartment area is very large for a price that is still affordable for the area. Complaints about a slightly damaged door were responded to quickly by the owner and immediately repaired when we arrived.

Beds, towels and toiletries are complete like hotel standards and even exceed their completeness. It's just that there are no kitchen utensils, only paper cups are provided. Microwave and small stove are available.

The location is very close to supermarkets, small malls and not too far from the Sanlitun area. My conclusion is that I highly recommend this apartment."

Both the exterior and interior are amazing and the staffs are one of the kindest I’ve ever met. Free same day laundry and photoshoot as well. It wa surprising how nice the room was given the type of hotel it is. I would highly recommend for anyoen in a similar situation-perfect place to recharge after a long journey. i'm not sure I'd want to stay there for an extended stay but it's perfect for a quick stop. Most people arrivin gto Beijig by train from the west of China will arrive at Beijig West station and thi splace is literally a 5 minute walk from th enorth exit.

The dining experience at the restaurant was particularly impressive; the food selection was incredibly rich and varied. The buffet, priced at a very affordable 80+ RMB, offered a range and quality that could easily rival those found at international chain hotels charging over 200 RMB per person, with all desired categories well-represented. The restaurant itself was also very photogenic, though it was a tad too warm inside – understandable, as being a glass structure, it truly felt like a greenhouse!

Gubei Water village however was very hard to access, I wasn’t aware there was only two buses a day running from Beijing and it was a bit of a nightmare to arrive. Had I known, I wouldn’t have come. But the hotel is great! And their soy milk is delicious.

Upon checking in at the front desk, the staff enthusiastically told me they'd given me a complimentary room upgrade. Talk about a stroke of luck! My impression of the place instantly shot through the roof! 💯
The location is absolutely superb! It's right on a main street, and the subway station is just around the corner from the entrance. Getting to all the attractions by subway is incredibly convenient 🚇. For someone like me who loves exploring, it couldn't be more perfect!
The room was spotless and cozily furnished. The bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable, making for a super restful sleep; all my fatigue from the day just melted away 😴. AAnonymous UserI booked this hotel as it's very well located between the two airports and very well deserved by the tube in a very nice neighbourhood where you can truly see the everyday life of lovely Chinese people. Following the initial booking for a very nice room, there was an issue and tye management were so professional that they upgraded me for free to the executive suits which was absolutely stunning and beautiful and outstanding views of the whole city at the top floor. The room was spacious, and bathrooms were breathtaking. The management were very nice to me every time and even though they didn't speak English they were always trying to help. The hotel is located around many shops, restaurants and two Hugh malls located around changyiang metro which is direct to forbidden city and tianmen Square. I must admit that I stayed in the last few days but I ended up staying over 5 days because all the rooms are very large, with beautiful views and the breakfast is also very good. The overall impression is that Chinese management is always trying to help you. So, like me, if you are from Europe, do not book a Western brand and be courageous to book a Chinese hotel and experience their kindness and good hearth. I will give top grading to this hotel and will recommend it highly to all my European tourists.

DDOINAGood location,in a hutong and close to Wanfujing street.I walked to Forbidden city ~1,5 km only through hutongs streets.We stayed 3 nights,clean space,they clean the room every day and change the towels.Friendly staff, shops and local food around.Totally recommend.
