Hotels in Guomao Area, Beijing

I brought my daughter to Beijing to play with her friends and needed a hotel for five nights and four days. My requirements were proximity to my friend's home, good parking, and a quiet environment. After filtering by these conditions, there were very few hotels left that were reasonably priced and had a good atmosphere. So, on the first night, I decided to try Tang House. To my surprise, the front desk staff upgraded me to a family room with one double bed and one single bed. However, I found the room a bit damp, and the air conditioner blew directly onto the single bed, which was a little uncomfortable. On the plus side, the room was well soundproofed, and there was a huge parking lot directly opposite the hotel entrance. You just needed a parking slip from the front desk each day. The hotel's location was very quiet, with no traffic noise, and Liangma River Park was right downstairs, perfect for daily strolls. So, I decided to switch to a twin room. After changing rooms, it immediately felt brighter and less damp. The air conditioner was also aimed at the desk and chairs, perfectly avoiding the beds. The room was much more comfortable, so I decisively booked it for the remaining days. I must particularly mention the hotel's decor. It has a medieval simplicity yet retains Chinese elements. Every painting is a delight to the eye and perfectly complements the room's style. The wooden floors feel very comfortable underfoot, and the bedding is just the right firmness, so I didn't wake up feeling sore the next day. I highly recommend this hotel for business travelers. It's quiet, convenient for parking, has a public laundry room, offers free coffee, and you can even try on Manchu princess costumes. The service is attentive and thoughtful! 👍

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The facilities are excellent, with plenty of hot water and consistent water pressure. The service from the IKEA hotel staff was outstanding – they were incredibly kind and attentive to all our requests. Our room had great natural light and no strange odors, making for a very comfortable and reassuring stay. We'd definitely come back and highly recommend it!

I stayed at this hotel for four consecutive days, and my entire experience was incredibly comfortable, with almost nothing to fault. The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and approachable. Whether I was asking for directions, requesting extra toiletries, or even making a small, last-minute request to adjust the room's lighting, they always responded patiently and were happy to help, never once being dismissive or evasive. The housekeepers who cleaned my room daily were also wonderfully thoughtful and meticulous. Each time they tidied up, not only did they ensure everything was spotless, but they also subtly paid attention to how I arranged my belongings, discreetly organizing any items scattered on the desk. Over the four days, I was completely satisfied with every aspect of the hotel's service.

The hotel's location is super convenient, just a short walk from the subway station. The room layout is well-designed, with complete facilities, and it's comfortable, spacious, clean, and bright. Plus, it has a smart home system throughout! All the staff are incredibly warm and attentive, providing excellent service. I was feeling a bit under the weather during my stay, and a staff member noticed I had taken cold medicine. She thoughtfully left extra bottles of water and a fruit platter for me – I was really touched! When cleaning the room, she even asked how my cold was and reminded me to drink plenty of water, especially with the hot weather. At that moment, I felt so warm and moved. It's truly rare to be cared for like family in a strange city. So, a big thumbs up to the hotel and all its staff! I'll definitely be back.

Everything was great from the first second! The staff is polite and friendly: we had a lot of questions and they helped us all the time, what is really good for foreigners. The room was not so big, but it's nice: clean bright, comfortable and really calm. So, if you have some problems with sleeping, don't worry: you will sleep like a baby. By the way: the hotel has a good location, which is important if you don't have enough time (one day or some hours). So, if you are looking a good place to stay, you have found it. I think we'll come back here next time

The room was tiny, barely enough for one person. It was poorly ventilated and had a lingering smell, which made it feel stuffy and uncomfortable for a long stay. The facilities were just okay; the showerhead was a bit broken, but I made do. The location was decent, with convenient transport links. There's a supermarket and restaurants right outside.

Modern decor + excellent service. 💡 Practical Tips: • If you're traveling with multiple people, remember to ask the front desk to split the bill in advance (online doesn't work). • You must try the mini mochi for breakfast! They're so small and addictive. • The lobby has a quiet meeting area, a blessing for business travelers. • Night owl bonus: plenty of late-night eateries and bars nearby. ☁️ Bonus points: The smart home appliances are a lifesaver for lazy people; you don't have to lift a finger once you're back in the room~ However, it would be even more perfect if the slippers were one size larger!

The hotel was quiet and peaceful, providing an excellent environment for rest. Staff member #1 was attentive and patient, promptly resolving any issues. All the facilities were well-equipped and functional, with stable hot water and air conditioning. The location was convenient for getting around, making it suitable for both leisure and business travelers. I'm extremely satisfied, five-star rating, and I'll definitely be back!
