Hotels in Tian'Anmen Square and Wangfujing Area, Beijing

The room amenities weren't great. In the first room, 213, the door couldn't be deadbolted, and the bed was so old it creaked loudly with every turn, making it hard to sleep at night – I was afraid to even move! The bathroom curtain didn't block out any light, and it kept letting light in from different spots, making me feel exposed while showering. There were no tissues in the room, only one roll of toilet paper in the bathroom, which was inconvenient as I had to go to the bathroom every time I needed a tissue. For the next four days, I stayed in room 109 on the first floor, which was better, at least the door lock worked. The only issue was that the water heater in the triple room was too small for three people to shower consecutively; one person had to wait half an hour after the other, and this was in 20-degree weather – I can only imagine how bad it would be in winter! The female receptionist was very kind, but the male receptionist's service attitude needs improvement. The male and female staff sitting at the front entrance, I'm not sure what their roles were, but their service was just average. Overall, I wasn't very satisfied.

The hotel is super convenient, located right next to Wangfujing subway station, Wangfujing Pedestrian Street, McDonald's, Daoxiangcun, and Wuyutai. We booked a family room; it had a window, but it couldn't be opened due to regulations. The laundry room was a great plus, and the TV even showed how much time was left until the wash cycle was done. They were really generous with the bottled water; I asked the front desk for a few bottles and they brought up six! Given its excellent location and reasonable price, there were a lot of foreigners staying there. I'll definitely consider staying here again on my next visit.

Apart from the renovation which we were told beforehand, the room we had was dark (probably because it was a windowless room), humid, aircon wasn’t strong but they provided a fan. Could smell urine even with the toilet seat covered, toilet door was closed, to a point that i was awaken by the foul smell. Had to spray perfume to have it barely covered. Ventilation was super bad. Cons aside, service was good, fridge in room had free drinks. Would recommend to book a window room if you had to even though friend that stayed in the window room said it was bad too. There’s a mall few minutes walk away which was a plus. Good view on the reception floor too.

An absolutely top-notch hotel! The rooms are clean, bright, and highly intelligent, featuring a washlet toilet 🚽, which is a big plus, and excellent wet/dry separation. The shower stall is separate, and the bedding is spotless. The service is first-rate, warm, and genuine. There's a huge courtyard and a terrace. The location is super convenient for transportation, and there are plenty of snack shops and restaurants nearby, perfect for both business and leisure.

Absolutely thrilled with the room! The bathroom had a fantastic wet/dry separation, and the floor-to-ceiling windows were a lovely touch. There was even a mini-fridge that kept my fruits and drinks perfectly chilled. The staff's service was outstanding; they were incredibly helpful and met all my basic needs. During a rainy day in Beijing, they even proactively asked if I needed an umbrella or raincoat – that was truly thoughtful and heartwarming. The mattress and pillows were super comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. For a Ctrip 3-diamond hotel, it genuinely felt like a 4-diamond experience in terms of facilities and ambiance. The public areas were spacious, offering a co-working space, a lounge, a laundry room, and a gym – all fully equipped. Highly recommend it! I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I bring my family to Beijing next time.

Great location, free laundry, comfortable fresh room. It was quiet when I was there in July, so I had a good sleep. Stayed there on my way back home, originally intended to stay at a different hotel on Wangfujing (the one I stayed at before), but very glad I booked this hotel instead. The gym has several treadmills, it is right next to the laundry, so you can use it during the wait. The staff at the reception was friendly and professional. There's tea and yogurt served at the reception area. I really enjoyed the hotel overall. The only minor downsides were: 1) several patches of dust I found on the bed after the cleaning one day, 2) the tea supplied at the tea station was not a standard tea and had rather unusual taste (not bad, but different).

The room was clean and hygienic, and the front desk staff were very friendly and attentive. The environment is decent, and it's very close to Peking Union Medical College Hospital.

The room was great, and the staff were very friendly. It's super convenient for getting around, right by the famous Shijia Hutong, with tons of food options nearby – you'll never go hungry. Just two things to note: there's no elevator, and breakfast leans heavily Western, with only knives and forks, no chopsticks. The front desk mentioned they have a lot of foreign guests, and I'd say about 80% to 90% of the people I saw were foreigners from all over the world. You'd occasionally spot a Chinese guest (like me, bringing back baozi and soy milk to eat in the restaurant). P.S. The family room was really good, first time staying in one and I was impressed!

What a pleasant surprise! I never expected to find such a gem of a hotel in the old Tianqiao neighborhood. The 'nostalgia' theme isn't just for show; it's intricately woven into every design detail: from the various old Tianqiao theater plaques at the entrance to the Xin Fengxia records displayed by the elevator, the oil paintings in the hallways, the vintage telephone, and the background art in the rooms. My friend exclaimed, 'Isn't this five-star quality?' For example, they offer complimentary snacks, laundry service, mouthwash, free water refills, free eye masks, travel magazines, and more. The bedding is incredibly comfortable too – a huge thumbs up! The weather has been exceptionally good during my two-day stay in Beijing. The location in Tianqiao is unbeatable. I'd wake up early, walk a short distance to Tiangongyuan for breakfast, then stroll over to the Temple of Heaven Park, truly enjoying the unique relaxation of the weekend. My impression of Beijing this trip is excellent. By the way, a big thank you to the front desk staff who upgraded me to a two-bed family room during check-in. It was a shame I couldn't bear to put my luggage on one of the beds, felt a bit wasted 🤣. Warm service and unexpectedly high value for money!

While there was an initial misunderstanding due to a hygiene concern which caused distress on our first night stay that I had to escalate the matter through Trip.com, the hotel manager turned the experience around. The night before check-out, we had a genuine and positive conversation at the lobby. She was humble and openly acknowledged her shortcomings and appreciated for helping her learn and grow as a leader. Good to know that a manager willing to take accountability and desire to improve. Every hotel staff we have interacted with are professional and friendly. Aside from the good service recovery, we loved the hotel's convenience: 1. Siji Minfu Peking Roast Duck Restaurant (四季民福) is next to the hotel along with other food options in the same stretch. 2. The hotel is perfectly located within walking distance to Wangfujing Pedestrian Street (shopping and food). 3. The fun robot that delivers food right to our doorstep! The hotel also prepared light snacks for our airport journey. Overall, this hotel is highly recommended!
