Excellent location! near the heaven palace, malls, Tian An Men, great food options and good flavor, no need to pay for the bare minimum expected. Nice price x night. The room is just as in the pictures, comfortable bed, good service and air conditioner. I think it's ideal for short and long stays.

Apart from the renovation which we were told beforehand, the room we had was dark (probably because it was a windowless room), humid, aircon wasn’t strong but they provided a fan. Could smell urine even with the toilet seat covered, toilet door was closed, to a point that i was awaken by the foul smell. Had to spray perfume to have it barely covered. Ventilation was super bad. Cons aside, service was good, fridge in room had free drinks. Would recommend to book a window room if you had to even though friend that stayed in the window room said it was bad too. There’s a mall few minutes walk away which was a plus. Good view on the reception floor too.

The hotel is super close to the subway station, which makes getting around incredibly convenient. It's also near many attractions, and right across the street from Fulong Temple, which is great for both food and shopping. The room was very clean, and I really enjoyed my stay.

While there was an initial misunderstanding due to a hygiene concern which caused distress on our first night stay that I had to escalate the matter through Trip.com, the hotel manager turned the experience around. The night before check-out, we had a genuine and positive conversation at the lobby. She was humble and openly acknowledged her shortcomings and appreciated for helping her learn and grow as a leader. Good to know that a manager willing to take accountability and desire to improve. Every hotel staff we have interacted with are professional and friendly.
Aside from the good service recovery, we loved the hotel's convenience:
1. Siji Minfu Peking Roast Duck Restaurant (四季民福) is next to the hotel along with other food options in the same stretch.
2. The hotel is perfectly located within walking distance to Wangfujing Pedestrian Street (shopping and food).
3. The fun robot that delivers food right to our doorstep!
The hotel also prepared light snacks for our airport journey. Overall, this hotel is highly recommended!

This hotel's location is excellent, very close to the exam venue, which was incredibly helpful for high school students taking exams. They even gave us a small gift and extended our check-out time. The room was well-equipped, clean, and tidy, and housekeeping was prompt and attentive. The surrounding environment and the view from the window were fantastic, and the soundproofing was good too! The front desk staff and every other staff member we encountered were incredibly polite. The swimming pool, though not large, was very clean, and the gym was well-equipped. Downstairs, there's a dining plaza with a buffet for breakfast and lunch, which was very convenient! Many foreigners stay here, and the staff's overall quality is very high, truly befitting a long-standing five-star hotel. We were very satisfied these past few days! Before leaving, I suddenly noticed the hotel's archway had a wonderful meaning, and I hope my child can succeed in their endeavors, like a fish leaping over the dragon's gate, and achieve great success in their exams.

The room was great, and the staff were very friendly. It's super convenient for getting around, right by the famous Shijia Hutong, with tons of food options nearby – you'll never go hungry. Just two things to note: there's no elevator, and breakfast leans heavily Western, with only knives and forks, no chopsticks. The front desk mentioned they have a lot of foreign guests, and I'd say about 80% to 90% of the people I saw were foreigners from all over the world. You'd occasionally spot a Chinese guest (like me, bringing back baozi and soy milk to eat in the restaurant). P.S. The family room was really good, first time staying in one and I was impressed!

Absolutely thrilled with the room! The bathroom had a fantastic wet/dry separation, and the floor-to-ceiling windows were a lovely touch. There was even a mini-fridge that kept my fruits and drinks perfectly chilled. The staff's service was outstanding; they were incredibly helpful and met all my basic needs. During a rainy day in Beijing, they even proactively asked if I needed an umbrella or raincoat – that was truly thoughtful and heartwarming. The mattress and pillows were super comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. For a Ctrip 3-diamond hotel, it genuinely felt like a 4-diamond experience in terms of facilities and ambiance. The public areas were spacious, offering a co-working space, a lounge, a laundry room, and a gym – all fully equipped. Highly recommend it! I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I bring my family to Beijing next time.

An absolutely top-notch hotel! The rooms are clean, bright, and highly intelligent, featuring a washlet toilet 🚽, which is a big plus, and excellent wet/dry separation. The shower stall is separate, and the bedding is spotless. The service is first-rate, warm, and genuine. There's a huge courtyard and a terrace. The location is super convenient for transportation, and there are plenty of snack shops and restaurants nearby, perfect for both business and leisure.

The hotel's location is incredibly central. Not only is it in Xidan and close to the subway, but it's also seamlessly connected to Joy City, with a direct access door from the mall to the hotel. The service was excellent. While I was still on the high-speed train, Xuanxuan from the front desk contacted me to confirm all my room preferences. After checking in, I realized my phone was missing. I was frantic and went back to the front desk to find Xuanxuan, who helped me check the surveillance footage, which really put my mind at ease. The concierge lent us a large umbrella, and we walked to Gangwashi to catch the 109 bus to Jingshan Park. We passed Beihai Park, and the scenery there was stunning. On the way back, we took the 109 bus again to Xidan Shopping Mall, which conveniently stops right in front of Joy City. I truly thought, 'This location is just perfect!' The smooth transition from entering the mall to getting back to our room helped relieve a lot of our fatigue. 😎

Couldn't hear the street noise once the windows were closed. The location is great; you can walk out of the alley to Zhangzizhong Road subway station. There's also a supermarket downstairs, and the street outside the alley has lots of delicious and affordable food – not like the overpriced stuff you find near tourist spots.

GGuest UserTo experience the authentic courtyard atmosphere, I specifically chose the hotel's Hutong Suite. Outside, Beijing was freezing, but as soon as I entered the room, I was instantly warmed. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, and in the evening, they even provided a complimentary wellness tea and special small snacks, which was a very thoughtful touch! In the morning, I also enjoyed the hotel's breakfast in-room dining service, recharging for the day in the ancient-style room. A special shout-out to Chloe and Willow, thank you for your warm and attentive service. I will definitely choose to stay here again next season!

The location is also very convenient, close to the subway station. The service was excellent; the housekeeper even helped us with our luggage to the car since we had so much. GGuest UserFirst of all, I am thrilled with the friendliness of the staff as he managed to change a new room for me as there is a smell of cigarettes. The hotel also provide the best amenities such as free self service laundry for people like me who stays over 5 days. Overall, we are happy with the our trip and it also change our perceptions towards how China has changed so much in terms of the people attitude and their good hospitality.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel's design perfectly captures the style of Beijing's hutongs, which is very unique. The room was really comfortable, and the staff provided exceptional service. Breakfast was light and exactly to my taste, which was great. The staff mentioned they'll be renovating later, and I figured this place will be hard to book afterwards, so I talked to them about reserving a room in advance 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. Wandering through Beijing's hutongs is so relaxing and perfect for unwinding.

GGuest UserYoufang Hotel has an antique and charming decor, excellent hygiene, and clean, comfortable bedding. It's a safe and secure place to stay with children. The location is very convenient, close to Beijing's city center and JinYu Hutong subway station, making it easy to get around with elderly family members and kids. The hotel service deserves a perfect 10 out of 10; the staff are patient with children and attentive to guests. I'd definitely stay here again if I have the chance!

GGuest UserThe location is unbeatable! It's just a few minutes' walk to Wangfujing, and you can stroll to Tiananmen and the Forbidden City. There's a subway station right across the street, making it super convenient to get around. The room was spotless. The mattress was just right – not too soft, not too firm – and the soundproofing was good. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the shower had great water pressure and hot water. I really liked the scent of the toiletries too. Breakfast was delicious, with stir-fries, baozi (steamed buns), and zhajiangmian (noodles with fried sauce) – very satisfying. All the staff were lovely. When I checked in, they proactively told me the quickest way to get to the Forbidden City and Tiananmen. They replenished water and tissues daily in the room, and even gave me a souvenir when I checked out. Overall, it offers good value for money, and I'd likely stay here again on my next trip to Beijing.

Xxinruo****I chose to stay here mainly for the flag-raising ceremony in the morning. Plus, it's the Great Hall of the People Hotel, so the rooms are spacious and incredibly clean. The best part was gathering at 5:10 AM and being led through security into the square. I managed to snag a spot right in the front row for the ceremony! ✌️ After watching the flag-raising, I headed back to the hotel for a delicious breakfast. On the way, I even got a call asking if I'd left something behind. It was actually something broken that I'd thrown in the trash, but they still thoughtfully called to check. Thumbs up, highly recommend! ❤️
