Crystal Orange (Beijing International Trade Jianguomen)

The hotel's location in the CBD is super convenient for getting around. The hotel itself is quite new, and while the rooms are a bit small (which is common for prime city locations), they are very clean. It would be even better if the breakfast had more variety. I was traveling with my daughter this time, and the customer service staff were all very helpful. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel; it offers great value for money.

My stay here was a delightful surprise. The room was clean and well-maintained, and all the facilities were in good working order. The front desk staff were very friendly and communication was smooth. Breakfast was delicious, with both Chinese and Western options. The hotel's location is excellent, making it easy to get around. The room had good soundproofing, so I wasn't disturbed. The service was attentive and thorough, offering excellent value for money. I would definitely recommend it to my friends.

The hotel was clean and very close to the museum, just a short walk away! The breakfast was also delicious, and they even had a chef carving Peking duck right there. Their ox tongue pastries and date paste shortbread were incredible, far superior to other well-known brands – truly delicious! They weren't too sweet and had a delicate texture. I regretted eating them last because I was too full! I wanted to buy some to take home, but they said they were homemade by the hotel and not for sale to external guests, which was a real shame! Everything else was pretty good, and the water and drinks in the mini-fridge were complimentary! For this price and location, I think it's an excellent deal!

I've stayed at the Manlan Hotel a few times for business trips, and the service and environment are consistently good. It's super convenient as the Line 17 subway station is just a 3-minute walk away. Every time I check in, they thoughtfully prepare a welcome gift; this time it was matcha mochi pastries and sour plum juice. The other snacks and drinks provided are also quite varied. Manlan recently launched a new membership card, and the staff kindly guided me on how to use it when I checked in. The vouchers included can be used for booking rooms and at the restaurant, and there are points that can be redeemed for services like face masks, aromatherapy, or foot baths, which is really practical.

Artyzen Habitat Dongzhimen Beijing

We were on a family trip to Beijing with our 3-year-old and 1-year-old, plus my in-laws, before catching an afternoon flight to the US the next day. We stayed at the Artyzen Habitat Beijing Dongzhimen. It’s hard to find a family-friendly hotel in Beijing that offers a prime location (only 25 minutes to Capital Airport by car, 5 minutes to Sanlitun, yet very quiet and safe at night for a good night's sleep), while also providing ample space, comfort, and excellent service. This hotel completely exceeded our expectations! Spacious and Well-Equipped: In such a prime downtown area, the rooms here are incredibly large. The design is modern and stylish, the beds are very comfortable, and there’s a small kitchenette with a microwave and kettle. We booked connecting rooms, and the soundproofing between them was the best we've ever experienced in any hotel. Previously, we’ve stayed at the JW in Dawang Road or the Conrad in Sanlitun, but those hotels feel quite outdated, as if they haven't been renovated in a long time. The Artyzen, however, feels exceptionally well-maintained, as if it just opened recently. Prime Location, Quiet Retreat: We had an afternoon flight to the US the next day and needed to be at the airport for check-in by 8:20 AM. We left the hotel at 8:00 AM and arrived at Capital Airport in just 24 minutes – the location is truly super convenient. The night before, we drove to Sanlitun for a family dinner, and it only took five minutes. The hotel itself is situated in a very quiet neighborhood, allowing us to get plenty of rest before our 13-hour long-haul flight. Thoughtful and Detailed Service: The front desk staff and all service personnel were extremely warm and polite. Check-in and check-out were efficient and smooth. The housekeeping staff, noticing we had children, even specially folded cute little animals out of towels, which delighted the kids! Highly recommended for all families traveling to Beijing with elderly parents and children, whether for vacation or a layover!

This is my third stay at this hotel, and as always, the service is excellent, and it offers great value for money. The hotel package included dinner and breakfast for two. The overall cleanliness of the hotel is good. The housekeeping staff on the 22nd floor are particularly noteworthy; their service attitude is fantastic, and they are very diligent, responsible, and meticulous in their work. A big shoutout to the hotel's housekeeping department! Looking forward to staying here again next time!

The main draw of this hotel is its unbeatable location and rich historical background. However, for a four-star establishment, the facilities are outdated, soundproofing is poor, and there's a musty smell. The service attitude is good, making it feel like you're paying for the location and getting the stay thrown in. It's suitable for travelers who prioritize proximity to the Forbidden City and are willing to compromise on accommodation quality. It's definitely not for those seeking modern comfort or who are sensitive to noise and odors.

This stay was absolutely fantastic! The hotel was spotless, and I loved that the disposable toothbrushes were already in the bathroom, no need to pick them up at the front desk. The room was spacious and well-designed. This is definitely my go-to hotel every time I visit Beijing! A special shout-out to the bathrobes and slippers – they were incredibly comfortable! Breakfast was still mostly Western, and aside from the milk, everything was perfectly to my taste!

I had a really good stay this time. The room was thoroughly cleaned, the bedding was fresh, and I slept comfortably. There was plenty of hot water, and the toiletries were sufficient. The front desk staff were very nice; check-in and check-out were quick. The location is also convenient, close to shops and restaurants. The price was reasonable too. I felt very secure during my stay, definitely worth coming back.

Upon checking in, Miss Zoe at the front desk was incredibly enthusiastic. When I asked about upgrading my room type, she immediately and proactively helped me check and change it, quickly finding me a room with a better view. She was patient and polite throughout our conversation, very efficient, and took the initiative to explain the hotel facilities. Her attention to detail showed thoughtful service, and she was serious and responsible in addressing guest needs. She's an excellent front desk staff member! 👍
