"The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Wangfujing Pedestrian Street, surrounded by luxury shops, making it very convenient to get around. The Mandarin Oriental's attention to detail is superb. The understated luxury and 'old money' vibe are precisely my style. The vanity room is spacious, and they prepared welcome fruits and snacks, a bottle of red wine, and even pear soup, along with a beautifully written welcome letter. It truly made me feel right at home. Breakfast is a mix of buffet and à la carte, with fresh, organic ingredients and amazing flavors. I even had breakfast alongside the Russian ambassador at the next table! Sipping a coffee with a Forbidden City latte art design on the large terrace overlooking the Forbidden City, I truly experienced a taste of royal life. So happy! 😃"

The Bvlgari Hotel Beijing is located in the Chao Yang neighbourhood amid the prestigious green surroundings of the Embassy District - the heart of China’s capital city. The hotel’s 119 exquisitely furnished rooms - using outstanding Italian luxury residential furniture brands like Maxalto, B&B Italia and Flos - include the exceptional Bvlgari Suite with some of the best views over the city. The 1500 square-metre BVLGARI Spa adds a further luxurious touch to the guest experience featuring 11 treatment rooms, a fitness center and a 25-metre pool made of shimmering mosaic tiles. Inspired by Ancient Rome, they recall the patterns of the historic Terme di Caracalla Roman baths. Bvlgari’s famed Il Ristorante - Niko Romito has been awarded one star for the sixth consecutive year in the 2025 edition of the MICHELIN Guide Beijing, offering sophisticated dining and a prestigious gathering place for the city’s elite. With its sophisticated atmosphere, The Bvlgari Bar at The Bvlgari Hotel Beijing is the city’s elite gathering place. Guests can enjoy cocktails, fine wine, champagne and Bvlgari’s renowned ‘aperitivo’ at the signature oval bar, or on the outdoor terrace overlooking the river.

"Come to Bvlgari Beijing and spend a delightful weekend filled with exquisite food! The pizza bar's creations, to use a popular phrase, were absolutely amazing. The beef tartare pizza with a special chili oil offered an unforgettable sensory experience – the tender beef combined with the exciting kick of the chili oil was simply divine. The lemon cheesecake pizza had no harsh sourness from the lemon at all; the overall balance with the cheese was perfect. And the strawberry blossom pizza was truly the highlight of highlights, with the nuts adding a brilliant, masterful touch! Manager Stephanie, who is both beautiful and kind, recommended two cocktails and a gelato that truly added the perfect finishing touch to this Bvlgari culinary journey. Ambiance: The sophisticated elegance of Bvlgari provided double assurance of comfort and quality for this weekend. Service: I must especially thank Manager Catherine for arranging such a perfect weekend experience, which was truly full of delights. Whether it was the Italian traditional cuisine workshop with the chef in the Bvlgari Suite, or every aspect of my three-day, two-night stay at Bvlgari, Catherine arranged everything so thoughtfully, making it feel truly like coming home to Beijing! Finally, a huge thank you to our chef – a bowl of lobster pasta and Italian dumplings brought back so many wonderful memories. A chef who can touch people's hearts with food is truly the greatest!"

No. 5 of Luxury Hotels in Beijing
Just steps from the East Gate of the Summer Palace grounds lies at Summer Palace Hotel - the ideal location from which to discover Beijing.Housed in a series of pavilions, some of which date back over a century and were originally used by guests of the Palace awaiting an audience with the Empress Dowager Cixi, the restort is only 15km from the Forbidden City.A serene retreat ,with pea ceful internal courtyards embracing traditional Chinese architecture ,the proerty provides easy access to such cultural landmarks as the Great Wall ,The Temple of Heaven and the hutongs ,as well ad Beijing's restaurants ,art galleries and other contemporary delights .

"Even though it's no longer affiliated with a top-tier luxury brand, it's still worth a stay. The hotel itself is part of the Summer Palace's imperial gardens, which we specifically explored at night. The gardens are an intricate maze of carved balustrades, jade-like structures, and winding corridors, where time itself seems to shape the space. While the bustling crowds are just outside the walls, hotel guests have private, unlimited access to the Summer Palace through a special entrance, though a staff member needs to open the gate each time. Afternoon tea is served by a small pond, shaded by weeping willows and surrounded by blooming flowers – perfect for a lingering late spring afternoon. While the setting is dreamy, the pastries were generally a bit too sweet for my liking. The breakfast restaurant, adorned with a 'Royal Cuisine' plaque, offers a semi-buffet. Emperors of old might not have enjoyed the variety and quality available today! The hot food selection includes both Chinese and Western options; while it might not be as bustling as other hotel breakfasts, the quality is excellent and the service impeccable. Our room was upgraded to a suite with a thoughtfully designed layout. The bedding was luxurious and the pillows incredibly comfortable. The nine-compartment box filled with snacks was a delightful touch. Toiletries are presented in ceramic gourds, giving them the appearance of ancient elixirs. However, these ceramic bottles for shampoo and shower gel are a bit impractical; they're slippery and made me nervous about dropping and breaking them, and the conditioner was difficult to squeeze out. This could definitely be improved. We had to rush off, so we didn't get to experience many of the amenities, leaving us a good reason to return."

Hotel near Qianmen (Front Gate) and Chongwenmen Commercial Area,Beijing
No. 1 of Luxury Hotels in Beijing
Located in the heart of a traditional hutong neighbourhood inside the Beijing Central Axis, the capital's key cultural artery, Mandarin Oriental Qianmen, Beijing is a remarkable, unique property of just 42 courtyard houses. Intimately connected to the city, its expansive, luxurious accommodations feature exquisite oriental aesthetics and represent the pinnacle of Chinese hospitality. With refined wellness and immersive culinary experiences and a distinguished event setting, contemporary luxury, sumptuous heritage, art and nature combine, just steps from The Forbidden City, Qianmen and The Temple of Heaven.

"Honestly, staying at this hotel for my first time in Beijing truly broadened my horizons and changed my perception of the city. My wife, our child, and I came to Beijing for the May Day holiday. She said since we're here, we might as well splurge and experience a traditional Beijing courtyard. It truly delivered a top-tier luxury experience. The room layout was excellent, the courtyard views were charming, the service was impeccable, and the location was superb with an abundance of food delivery options. Breakfast was all made-to-order. The only thing we missed out on was the bar and hotel activities, but there's always next time. I do have two minor points of discomfort to share, just for reference: 1. When our taxi pulled up to the hotel entrance, a staff member immediately asked me what I was doing there. I was a bit taken aback at first, then explained I was checking in. I'm not blaming him; perhaps I was dressed too casually, but it did feel a little off-putting. 2. On our last day, breakfast felt less crowded, but the food service was incredibly slow. We went at 10 AM, thinking half an hour would be plenty for breakfast, especially since the day before our food arrived in about 15 minutes. This time, we waited half an hour just for the dishes to arrive. Overall, it was absolutely wonderful, and I'd definitely go back if I get the chance. It left a lasting impression, and thinking about it now still brings back such lovely memories, especially sitting in the courtyard at night, listening to music and watching the stars 💫"

"This was my second stay at The Chedi. My last visit was before the floods, and it's still just as perfect. The customer service contacted me in advance and added me to a WeChat group. For my wife's birthday, they sent sparkling wine to the room, and when we ordered dinner at Rongfu Yan, they even included longevity noodles. My wife was very pleased, thank you! I heard that The Chedi ranks second among luxury wilderness hotels in China, with The Banyan Tree Lijiang being first. I've been to The Banyan Tree as well, and personally, I don't think it compares to The Chedi. I'll definitely be returning to The Chedi again."

The Asia debut of Sense Spa offers an indoor pool, fitness center and yoga studio, while Manor Club on the seventh floor provides guests with an elevated private retreat and privileges.

"Halfway through my trip, I rarely write reviews, but the Rosewood Beijing truly exceeded my expectations. Initially, I had only planned to stay for one night, but I ended up extending it to three nights! Here’s why: 1. The service was incredibly attentive. From check-in to room amenities and the hotel's comprehensive facilities, including the tranquil executive lounge, it’s an ideal choice for a summer family trip. Despite a few minor hiccups, Pauling's thoughtful arrangements truly highlighted the Rosewood's brand charm. My top choices for Beijing used to be the Mandarin Oriental, The Peninsula, or the Four Seasons, but now I’m definitely a Rosewood convert. 2. I particularly loved the 6th-floor wellness area. The pool and gym are separated, and the interplay of sunlight and water reflections is both beautiful and relaxing. The gym is spacious with diverse equipment. One afternoon, I even coincidentally saw a top-tier Chinese celebrity discreetly working out there. 3. The aesthetic design is excellent. Although the hotel has been open for a while, the attention to detail in its maintenance is evident. Having stayed in many luxury hotels in Beijing, the Rosewood consistently earns my trust across all aspects. Special thanks again to Pauling, Jessi from the executive lounge, and Betty from the lobby. I look forward to my next stay!"

Suites start at a spacious 645 square ft. and each offers a separate bedroom, living area, marble bathroom and dressing room. Other amenities include a fitness center, heated indoor pool and The Peninsula Spa. The hotel has achieved the prestigious five-star rating from 2018 Forbes Travel Guide, which is the only independent, global rating system for luxury hotels, restaurants and spas.

"This luxury hotel is my absolute favorite, a true 'white moonlight' in my heart. The bedding is unbeatable, the service is warm and friendly, and the overall experience is perfect, just as it was during my last stay in Bangkok. The spa is equally remarkable, offering peace and comfort. This time, I was upgraded to a Grand Premium room, which was very spacious and comfortable. The only minor drawback is perhaps that the building is older, so the ceiling height is a bit lower, but this doesn't detract from the overall excellent experience. The smart home controls throughout the room were responsive, and the control tablet never lagged. What surprised me most was that the bathroom fixtures were by Dornbracht – I don't even need to elaborate on the quality of such faucets, it just shows how much was invested in the renovation, down to every little detail. I truly believe this is a hotel worth visiting multiple times!"

This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling with families.

"The room was absolutely satisfying, truly living up to its reputation as a design hotel. The service was excellent too, and the view from the window was lovely. The location is perfect; it's right by the Art Museum subway station, which is just one stop away from the pedestrian street. The art museum itself is right downstairs, and I was lucky enough to catch the Da Vinci exhibition. Longfu Temple is also just a short walk diagonally across from the hotel. In the evening, if the weather's good, the sunset views are fantastic. At night, you can head to Wangfujing Pedestrian Street. For Jingshan Park and Beihai Park, I'd recommend an early morning visit to witness the amazing功夫 (kung fu) practiced by Beijing's elderly residents. For food, just search on review apps; delivery is also very fast. If I had to pick a minor flaw, it would be that the hotel entrance isn't very easy to find, and the navigation wasn't entirely accurate. Complimentary fruit: They even surprised me with a small cake for my birthday. Mini-bar drinks in the room are complimentary and replenished daily."

"The night before my trip, I was still comparing hotels near Wangfujing, as I'd be staying for 7 nights. I finally booked the Waldorf Astoria, and I still believe it was absolutely the right choice. We're a family of four, and compared to other hotels of a similar caliber, we found that only the Waldorf Astoria offered an extra bed. This was incredibly accommodating for traveling with children, and even with the extra bed, the room still felt very spacious. The hotel's service truly lives up to the Waldorf Astoria brand, and I won't go into every detail. However, two things left the deepest impression: First, I would go out to smoke more than ten times each night. In the lobby, I'd always run into the night shift lobby manager, an older gentleman from Hubei. After each cigarette, he would chat with me about my day's itinerary and offer advice for the next day, especially during our first two days in Beijing. There was even a time when the weather forecast predicted heavy rain, and he kindly informed me in advance, allowing me to immediately change my plans. I'd like to thank him here, and also apologize for forgetting to ask for his name when we left. Second, the room cleaning. It was genuinely clean, but the key was in the details. The cleaning staff actually rolled up and neatly organized our phone and laptop charging cables! That's incredible attention to detail – I've had my own charging cables for almost two years and have never rolled them up once. Moreover, they even folded and neatly arranged the clothes we left on the bed. Later, I happened to run into the cleaning team when I was heading out, and out of sheer curiosity, I had to ask them how they managed to organize even the charging cables so well. A huge thank you to Judy, the supervisor of the cleaning team, and her two colleagues, Wang Dandan and Fang Le. They truly redefined my perception of a higher standard for hotel room cleaning."

This was my partner and my first time vacationing in Miyun, and also our first stay at the Hylla Hotel. The entire trip far exceeded our expectations; it was truly wonderful! I have to specially commend our dedicated concierge, Golden Key Ethan. Before we even arrived, he proactively added us on WeChat to connect, showing incredible thoughtfulness and attention to detail. Knowing we wanted to relax and recuperate, he took the initiative to pre-book Ayurvedic treatments and singing bowl sessions for us at the wellness center. He also thoroughly explained all of the hotel's unique offerings, such as the hillside hot springs, the gymnasium, and the mountain hiking trails, clearly outlining the duration of each activity and any booking注意事项 (important notes). We didn't have to worry about a thing. Throughout our stay, he was incredibly responsive, answering any small questions we had almost instantly. He's reliable, patient, and warm. I later learned he's a professional 'Golden Key' concierge, and his professionalism was evident—it’s rare to find such a dedicated and caring service person. The hotel itself is also outstanding. Tucked away on the hillside, the air is fresh and quiet, with negative oxygen ions reaching 9000! The 12 forest hot springs create an amazing ambiance, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast spread is incredibly rich, far surpassing the quality of a five-star hotel in the city. There’s also a huge kids’ play area, with facilities that cater to both adult relaxation and children's fun. This time it was just my partner and me enjoying a relaxing getaway, and we are completely smitten. We'll definitely bring our daughter and the whole family next time, and we'll certainly ask concierge Ethan to arrange our itinerary again! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a short, relaxing getaway in the Beijing suburbs or a family trip. Whether it's the facilities or the thoughtful service, it's absolutely worth making a special trip!

My stay at the Waldorf Astoria Beijing was absolutely perfect, earning a full five-star review! I experienced both the main building and the traditional courtyard rooms. The location is superb, right next to Wangfujing and within walking distance to the Forbidden City, making getting around incredibly convenient. The hotel's design is truly unique and thoughtful. The rooms are spacious and elegant, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and the amenities are high-quality and smell wonderful – every detail shows great care. Our butler, Willow, provided attentive and thoughtful service; she was warm, polite, and perfectly balanced, never being intrusive. The breakfast spread was extensive, featuring both authentic Beijing specialties and delicious Western options. The afternoon tea was beautiful and tasted just as good as it looked. This is definitely the top luxury hotel to stay at when visiting Beijing. Highly recommended!

This secluded courtyard offers great privacy, perfect for escaping the summer heat. The nearby hot spring hotel is also excellent. My only minor complaint was that a few of the plug sockets were faulty; plugs would just fall out after being inserted. The breakfast, however, was truly delicious and beautifully presented. The room key design was very innovative. It's a hotel well worth staying at, and I'd definitely come back if I have the chance.

A butler was waiting for us while we parked, showing exceptional service. Upon checking in at the lobby, we were offered complimentary snacks and drinks. To my delight, they upgraded our room for free, allowing for a better view of Yanqi Lake. The room table had fruit and wine, and the butler had even prepared aromatherapy. Surprisingly, the bathroom floor was also thoughtfully equipped with a non-slip mat. The butler also brought our luggage to our room, and to my surprise, given the slightly chilly temperature, they even brought down a warm coat from the car – incredibly considerate! We had initially mentioned needing to get our luggage, but only remembered when they went to retrieve it, and then they thoughtfully brought us the warm coat! We also participated in an afternoon cultural tour, which provided a deeper understanding of the hotel's design style and philosophy. The food was excellent, and the hotel facilities, cleanliness, and environment were superb! Not to mention the butler's service – it was exceptional! I highly recommend this hotel to families visiting Yanqi Lake. If we go again in the future, we will definitely choose Yanbai Mountain Villa again!

This was a wonderful stay, starting with the warm and attentive guidance and service from Yanqi Hotel's butler, Shirley. The hotel's unique garden environment is a rare and private luxury in Beijing. Another highlight was the spacious and spotless room, with captivating lakeside views from outside the suite. Strolling through the grounds, you can see the harmonious coexistence of nature and culture everywhere. At the end of our trip, butler Shirley was already waiting in the lobby, and the concierge rushed over from afar to help with our luggage. Smiles, greenery, tranquility, comfort, stunning views, and personalized service are the keywords that come to mind for this hotel. One even deeper impression I have is that every staff member I interacted with or observed, genuinely loved their hotel. Even the servers in the breakfast restaurant could enthusiastically tell guests all about the hotel, as if recounting their own treasured possessions. It was clear this wasn't just trained rhetoric, but a genuine joy and pride from the heart.

Traveling to Beijing, this hotel really stood out! The location is excellent, in a high-end area, and the service is top-notch. As someone who pays close attention to details, I was incredibly impressed. They even upgraded my room to one with a separate vanity area, which I absolutely loved! The high-floor views are fantastic, and the surrounding facilities are very convenient. Both check-in and check-out were super fast. The room fragrance was lovely, and it was quiet and well-soundproofed, definitely meeting star-rated hotel standards. Overall, excellent! I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Beijing.

Our stay was absolutely perfect, and I have to give a special shout-out to Stark, the duty manager that evening. Stark was incredibly patient and thorough throughout, handling our check-in efficiently and smoothly. He also proactively and thoughtfully provided information about local attractions, transportation routes, and dining options. His attention to detail truly showcased the warmth of their service. The hotel environment was clean and comfortable, and the room's amenities were great. The restaurant service also added a lot to our Beijing trip. The à la carte breakfast was a very elegant experience. I'll definitely choose Hotel Éclat again on my next visit to Beijing.

The location is convenient, with a subway station right downstairs. You can reach Guomao directly via an underground passage in about 10 minutes, avoiding sun and rain. Shopping and dining are also very convenient. The butler added me on WeChat in advance, and from the butler to the room service staff, everyone was professional, responsible, polite, and respectful. Overall, I was satisfied with this stay. Clint's service was enthusiastic, professional, thorough, and thoughtful. Check-in at the front desk was efficient and smooth, and the service attitude was genuine. The room was clean and tidy, and the environment was quiet and comfortable. The overall experience was excellent, and I would choose to stay here again next time.
