"This stay truly exceeded our expectations, and we especially want to thank the duty manager, Alex Chi. We actually encountered a few minor issues at the beginning of our stay, and I thought it would just be an unremarkable experience. But then Alex appeared, patiently listened to our concerns, and resolved everything professionally and promptly. His attentiveness was evident in every detail – a gesture, a glance, a moment of listening – making us feel truly valued. It was a real privilege to meet such a perfect manager. The hotel's design is exceptional, especially the Library area, which is quiet and stylish; it's a delightful place just to sit and relax. The doorman was also very thoughtful, making us feel welcome every time we entered and exited. The breakfast service was excellent too, with exquisite food and prompt service. We will always remember this stay."

The Bvlgari Hotel Beijing is located in the Chao Yang neighbourhood amid the prestigious green surroundings of the Embassy District - the heart of China’s capital city. The hotel’s 119 exquisitely furnished rooms - using outstanding Italian luxury residential furniture brands like Maxalto, B&B Italia and Flos - include the exceptional Bvlgari Suite with some of the best views over the city. The 1500 square-metre BVLGARI Spa adds a further luxurious touch to the guest experience featuring 11 treatment rooms, a fitness center and a 25-metre pool made of shimmering mosaic tiles. Inspired by Ancient Rome, they recall the patterns of the historic Terme di Caracalla Roman baths. Bvlgari’s famed Il Ristorante - Niko Romito has been awarded one star for the sixth consecutive year in the 2025 edition of the MICHELIN Guide Beijing, offering sophisticated dining and a prestigious gathering place for the city’s elite. With its sophisticated atmosphere, The Bvlgari Bar at The Bvlgari Hotel Beijing is the city’s elite gathering place. Guests can enjoy cocktails, fine wine, champagne and Bvlgari’s renowned ‘aperitivo’ at the signature oval bar, or on the outdoor terrace overlooking the river.

"Come to Bvlgari Beijing and spend a delightful weekend filled with exquisite food! The pizza bar's creations, to use a popular phrase, were absolutely amazing. The beef tartare pizza with a special chili oil offered an unforgettable sensory experience – the tender beef combined with the exciting kick of the chili oil was simply divine. The lemon cheesecake pizza had no harsh sourness from the lemon at all; the overall balance with the cheese was perfect. And the strawberry blossom pizza was truly the highlight of highlights, with the nuts adding a brilliant, masterful touch! Manager Stephanie, who is both beautiful and kind, recommended two cocktails and a gelato that truly added the perfect finishing touch to this Bvlgari culinary journey. Ambiance: The sophisticated elegance of Bvlgari provided double assurance of comfort and quality for this weekend. Service: I must especially thank Manager Catherine for arranging such a perfect weekend experience, which was truly full of delights. Whether it was the Italian traditional cuisine workshop with the chef in the Bvlgari Suite, or every aspect of my three-day, two-night stay at Bvlgari, Catherine arranged everything so thoughtfully, making it feel truly like coming home to Beijing! Finally, a huge thank you to our chef – a bowl of lobster pasta and Italian dumplings brought back so many wonderful memories. A chef who can touch people's hearts with food is truly the greatest!"

Just steps from the East Gate of the Summer Palace grounds lies at Summer Palace Hotel - the ideal location from which to discover Beijing.Housed in a series of pavilions, some of which date back over a century and were originally used by guests of the Palace awaiting an audience with the Empress Dowager Cixi, the restort is only 15km from the Forbidden City.A serene retreat ,with pea ceful internal courtyards embracing traditional Chinese architecture ,the proerty provides easy access to such cultural landmarks as the Great Wall ,The Temple of Heaven and the hutongs ,as well ad Beijing's restaurants ,art galleries and other contemporary delights .

"First of all, Jason at the front desk is very helpful and thoughtful. Not to mention the rest of the hotel staff were also friendly and helpful yet leaving you great space of privacy. We were very well taken care of. We stayed in the courtyard suite which is lovely. It feels magical to stay at such a historical place. Breakfast is not in buffet style but the selections offered are good enough especially the Chinese style breakfast. We also enjoyed the champagne and cold cuts platter. Thrilled to find out the spa service operate until 11pm, which we can go to sleep straight after the massage after dinner. On the other hand, the private access entrance to the summer palace is a plus point. As we don’t need to go through the usual public entrance that is full of people. The complimentary traditional costume photoshoot was surprisingly good. The quality of the costumes and make up are easily comparable ( or better than) to the paid one offer outside. Overall, we had a really good time throughout the stay where we were able to experience the tranquility and elegance of the Summer Palace. The team at Summer Palace Hotel done a good job!"

Hotel near Qianmen (Front Gate) and Chongwenmen Commercial Area,Beijing
No. 1 of Luxury Hotels in Beijing
Located in the heart of a traditional hutong neighbourhood inside the Beijing Central Axis, the capital's key cultural artery, Mandarin Oriental Qianmen, Beijing is a remarkable, unique property of just 42 courtyard houses. Intimately connected to the city, its expansive, luxurious accommodations feature exquisite oriental aesthetics and represent the pinnacle of Chinese hospitality. With refined wellness and immersive culinary experiences and a distinguished event setting, contemporary luxury, sumptuous heritage, art and nature combine, just steps from The Forbidden City, Qianmen and The Temple of Heaven.

"When people talk about the Mandarin Oriental Wangfujing, Beijing, they often label it as a 'luxury hotel in the hutongs,' a 'hidden gem along the central axis,' or a 'masterpiece of the Qianmen regeneration project.' But if we set aside these external definitions and focus purely on the stay experience, the deepest impression it left on me can be summed up in two words: sheer comfort. This comfort doesn't stem from any single specific amenity, but rather from an overall feeling. Tucked away deep within Beijing's Qianmen hutongs, stepping through the gate from the bustling streets into the courtyard felt like entering a different dimension of time. Grey bricks, dark tiles, courtyard walls, and tree shadows – all elements were distinctly Beijing, yet without any forced emphasis on being 'Beijing.' The design didn't just stop at symbolism; instead, it re-organized the hutong courtyard lifestyle, truly allowing guests to live in a modern Beijing courtyard home. Beijing in the summer is particularly suited to this place. The afternoon sun dappled through the leaves onto the courtyard, with doves perched quietly on the branches. Sitting in the courtyard, watching the clouds drift slowly between the eaves and grey walls, you suddenly understand why old Beijingers always said, 'There must be a tree in the courtyard.' The tree not only provides shade but also marks the passage of time. The wind changes, the light changes, and the tree shadows change. Many mention its 'hidden location in the hutongs,' but what's truly worth experiencing isn't just the hidden aspect, but rather that elusive relationship with Beijing's urban culture. Outside the walls are the hustle and bustle of Qianmen, while inside, the unique sense of scale characteristic of courtyard living is preserved. Looking up, you see the sky; looking down, you see tree roots and青砖 (qingzhuan - traditional grey bricks); occasionally, birdsong can be heard. These seemingly ordinary details become precious in today's city. The service also left an excellent impression. It wasn't an overly enthusiastic kind of service, but rather a sincere and well-measured attentiveness. Help was always there when needed, yet they maintained an appropriate distance when not. Many high-end hotels can achieve professionalism, but it's not easy to make guests feel genuine care, and this place truly has that ability. Near check-out, I had a chat with the duty manager, Chloe. What began as a simple conversation unexpectedly became a memorable part of this stay. She meticulously detailed the design philosophy and spatial characteristics of the hotel's 42 rooms, patiently explaining everything from the layouts of different courtyards to the subtle differences between rooms. One could feel her genuine understanding and passion for this hotel, which in turn gave me a more complete appreciation for this hidden hutong gem. My special thanks also go to Chloe for her insights and hospitality. Upon leaving, I felt that the most precious aspect of this hotel wasn't its luxury, but rather how it has preserved the ambiance of courtyard living in a rapidly changing city like Beijing. Shade from trees, grey walls, summer clouds, birdsong. These seemingly ordinary things collectively form a part of my memory of summer in Beijing. If staying at a hotel is about experiencing a space, then the Mandarin Oriental Wangfujing is more about experiencing a Beijing way of life. It may not be for everyone, but for those willing to slow down and embrace the city, beauty can be found everywhere here."

"This was my second stay at The Chedi. My last visit was before the floods, and it's still just as perfect. The customer service contacted me in advance and added me to a WeChat group. For my wife's birthday, they sent sparkling wine to the room, and when we ordered dinner at Rongfu Yan, they even included longevity noodles. My wife was very pleased, thank you! I heard that The Chedi ranks second among luxury wilderness hotels in China, with The Banyan Tree Lijiang being first. I've been to The Banyan Tree as well, and personally, I don't think it compares to The Chedi. I'll definitely be returning to The Chedi again."

This was my partner and my first time vacationing in Miyun, and also our first stay at the Hylla Hotel. The entire trip far exceeded our expectations; it was truly wonderful! I have to specially commend our dedicated concierge, Golden Key Ethan. Before we even arrived, he proactively added us on WeChat to connect, showing incredible thoughtfulness and attention to detail. Knowing we wanted to relax and recuperate, he took the initiative to pre-book Ayurvedic treatments and singing bowl sessions for us at the wellness center. He also thoroughly explained all of the hotel's unique offerings, such as the hillside hot springs, the gymnasium, and the mountain hiking trails, clearly outlining the duration of each activity and any booking注意事项 (important notes). We didn't have to worry about a thing. Throughout our stay, he was incredibly responsive, answering any small questions we had almost instantly. He's reliable, patient, and warm. I later learned he's a professional 'Golden Key' concierge, and his professionalism was evident—it’s rare to find such a dedicated and caring service person. The hotel itself is also outstanding. Tucked away on the hillside, the air is fresh and quiet, with negative oxygen ions reaching 9000! The 12 forest hot springs create an amazing ambiance, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast spread is incredibly rich, far surpassing the quality of a five-star hotel in the city. There’s also a huge kids’ play area, with facilities that cater to both adult relaxation and children's fun. This time it was just my partner and me enjoying a relaxing getaway, and we are completely smitten. We'll definitely bring our daughter and the whole family next time, and we'll certainly ask concierge Ethan to arrange our itinerary again! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a short, relaxing getaway in the Beijing suburbs or a family trip. Whether it's the facilities or the thoughtful service, it's absolutely worth making a special trip!

My stay at the Waldorf Astoria Beijing was absolutely perfect, earning a full five-star review! I experienced both the main building and the traditional courtyard rooms. The location is superb, right next to Wangfujing and within walking distance to the Forbidden City, making getting around incredibly convenient. The hotel's design is truly unique and thoughtful. The rooms are spacious and elegant, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and the amenities are high-quality and smell wonderful – every detail shows great care. Our butler, Willow, provided attentive and thoughtful service; she was warm, polite, and perfectly balanced, never being intrusive. The breakfast spread was extensive, featuring both authentic Beijing specialties and delicious Western options. The afternoon tea was beautiful and tasted just as good as it looked. This is definitely the top luxury hotel to stay at when visiting Beijing. Highly recommended!

This secluded courtyard offers great privacy, perfect for escaping the summer heat. The nearby hot spring hotel is also excellent. My only minor complaint was that a few of the plug sockets were faulty; plugs would just fall out after being inserted. The breakfast, however, was truly delicious and beautifully presented. The room key design was very innovative. It's a hotel well worth staying at, and I'd definitely come back if I have the chance.

A butler was waiting for us while we parked, showing exceptional service. Upon checking in at the lobby, we were offered complimentary snacks and drinks. To my delight, they upgraded our room for free, allowing for a better view of Yanqi Lake. The room table had fruit and wine, and the butler had even prepared aromatherapy. Surprisingly, the bathroom floor was also thoughtfully equipped with a non-slip mat. The butler also brought our luggage to our room, and to my surprise, given the slightly chilly temperature, they even brought down a warm coat from the car – incredibly considerate! We had initially mentioned needing to get our luggage, but only remembered when they went to retrieve it, and then they thoughtfully brought us the warm coat! We also participated in an afternoon cultural tour, which provided a deeper understanding of the hotel's design style and philosophy. The food was excellent, and the hotel facilities, cleanliness, and environment were superb! Not to mention the butler's service – it was exceptional! I highly recommend this hotel to families visiting Yanqi Lake. If we go again in the future, we will definitely choose Yanbai Mountain Villa again!

My wife and I spent part of our honeymoon at the Yanqi Hotel on Yanqi Lake, and we couldn’t have been happier. The setting right by the lake is stunning, and we really got to enjoy every moment of our trip. One of the highlights was the photo shooting. Our photographer Xiao Qi was wonderful and gave us memories we’ll keep for a lifetime. At the restaurant we were looked after beautifully by Billy Xu and his team, who even made sure we were provided with sunhats for our day trip to the Great Wall. We’d also like to mention the Managers on Duty, Shirley Li and Gillan. Both of them did a fantastic job and seemed to anticipate every wish before we even had to ask. That kind of personal service is what turns a good stay into an unforgettable one. We were also incredibly touched by the personal gift we received during our stay. It was such a thoughtful gesture and meant a great deal to us both. We were more than happy with everything: the hotel, the service, and our whole time there. We’d wholeheartedly recommend it to any couple celebrating something special, and we’d love to come back one day.

Having stayed at many five-star hotels in Beijing, this one currently reigns supreme. First off, the views are unbeatable; you get a panoramic sweep of iconic skyscrapers like the CCTV Headquarters and Fortune Plaza. The night lights are spectacular, truly embodying the city's vibrant spirit. On the day I checked in, there was a minor issue that was quickly resolved by upgrading my room. The 64th-floor lounge offers 24-hour free-flow drinks. While the variety isn't extensive, it generally meets most executive lounge expectations. The coffee, however, is quite good. The happy hour on the 80th floor had decent pastries. Hot dishes were replenished quickly, and the service was excellent. The breakfast buffet is absolutely top-notch, combining à la carte and buffet options. The à la carte seafood millet porridge, with generous portions of scallops, sea cucumber, and shrimp, was incredibly comforting – I had two bowls. The egg tarts, fresh from the oven, were also outstanding; flaky crust, not too sweet, simply delicious. I recommend going before 9:30 AM for breakfast to snag a window seat and enjoy it at leisure. The room had many thoughtful details. For instance, the Nespresso machine already had water in it, and the instructions were incredibly simple – just pop in a capsule. In most hotels of the same caliber, I'd usually have to add water and plug it in myself. The large bathtub came with a headrest, and bath towels were conveniently placed within reach above. Even under the sink, there was an anti-slip towel mat, making every corner of the room feel meticulously arranged for comfort. The pool on the 78th floor is open until 11 PM. There are also two steam rooms and a massage pool, perfect for relaxing. I'm already planning to try a room with a view next time.

Service: You can always trust Ritz's attention to detail when it comes to service; the concierge for this stay was absolutely top-notch! 💯 Environment: I love the vintage British style. The bathroom and vanity area were my favorite spots – bright and clean. Facilities: It's a small shame that the TV doesn't support phone screen mirroring. Overall: Still a very satisfying and comfortable stay ❤️

This was our first trip with our five-month-old, and we chose Yanqi Lake, which isn't too far from home, to finally visit the Sunrise Kempinski Hotel (I heard recently that Kempinski pulled out and Anaya might take over management, just hearsay). Upon arrival, the doorman saw we had a lot of luggage and proactively brought over a luggage cart, helped load our bags, and took them to the lobby for check-in. The lady at check-in was very friendly and asked about our child's age to confirm if we needed children's toiletries. Since our little one is quite young, they provided a bath mat for easier bathing. They also informed us that due to a conference at the hotel that day, we were upgraded to a suite with a small living room, which was a great experience. The room, overall, showed some age, but it was well-maintained. The air conditioning was powerful, and the room was clean. Most importantly, the view was lovely. A suite with a small living room is perfect for traveling with a baby; once the baby is asleep in the bedroom, adults can watch TV or have a late-night snack in the living room. The breakfast the next day was standard, similar to other five-star hotels. However, I must mention that the restaurant staff's attitude was quite poor. My family member was carrying hot noodles, and the server just stood by without offering help. Later, while pouring milk, a nearby milk bottle almost fell, and the server just watched. Eventually, another guest helped out. This is an area for improvement. The hotel's location is great for kids. In the evening, we strolled along the embankment next to the hotel, and the next day after breakfast, we visited Yanqi Island. Guests staying at the hotel can get a pass from the front desk to access the island directly. Overall, it was a very good experience and worth revisiting.

Our stay was absolutely perfect, and I have to give a special shout-out to Stark, the duty manager that evening. Stark was incredibly patient and thorough throughout, handling our check-in efficiently and smoothly. He also proactively and thoughtfully provided information about local attractions, transportation routes, and dining options. His attention to detail truly showcased the warmth of their service. The hotel environment was clean and comfortable, and the room's amenities were great. The restaurant service also added a lot to our Beijing trip. The à la carte breakfast was a very elegant experience. I'll definitely choose Hotel Éclat again on my next visit to Beijing.

Our stay at the Park Hyatt Beijing was an excellent experience. First off, the location is superb, right in the Beijing Yintai Centre on the East 3rd Ring Road. The hotel rooms are located on floors 37-50, offering fantastic views, including the landmark CCTV Tower and Guomao area directly opposite. Downstairs, you have direct access to Guomao Station on Metro Line 1. The breakfast spread was plentiful, featuring local Beijing specialties alongside a variety of Western options to cater to international guests. The service was also incredibly thoughtful and attentive; we even had a housekeeping attendant in the hallway proactively ask if we had enough water and if we needed more. Our room was clean and comfortable. Legorie meticulously arranged everything throughout our stay, ensuring smooth communication and expertly handling all our requests, big or small. Our whole family had a wonderful time! We'll definitely be back!
