"Facilities: The room offers an excellent view directly facing the Forbidden City. The swimming pool is comfortably heated, and the gym is well-equipped with machines that are maintained like new. Cleanliness: Impeccable. The bedding was pristine and crisp, and the bathroom was spotless. The turndown service even organized personal belongings meticulously. Ambiance: Located in Wangfujing, yet surprisingly quiet. The floral arrangements and artwork in the public areas are tasteful and elegant. The unique scent of oriental agarwood creates a distinctive, secluded atmosphere. Service: Our butler, Xiao Lü, was the absolute highlight. She attentively observed our needs, proactively prepared a rainy-day itinerary, and arranged a late check-out. Her thoughtfulness felt like that of an old friend, making it a truly warm and memorable experience. Overall, it exceeded our expectations! 👍🏻"

The hotel’s 119 exquisitely furnished rooms - using outstanding Italian luxury residential furniture brands like Maxalto, B&B Italia and Flos - include the exceptional Bvlgari Suite with some of the best views over the city. The 1500 square-metre BVLGARI Spa adds a further luxurious touch to the guest experience featuring 11 treatment rooms, a fitness center and a 25-metre pool made of shimmering mosaic tiles. Inspired by Ancient Rome, they recall the patterns of the historic Terme di Caracalla Roman baths. Bvlgari’s famed Il Ristorante - Niko Romito has been awarded one star for the sixth consecutive year in the 2025 edition of the MICHELIN Guide Beijing, offering sophisticated dining and a prestigious gathering place for the city’s elite. With its sophisticated atmosphere, The Bvlgari Bar at The Bvlgari Hotel Beijing is the city’s elite gathering place. Guests can enjoy cocktails, fine wine, champagne and Bvlgari’s renowned ‘aperitivo’ at the signature oval bar, or on the outdoor terrace overlooking the river.

"Come to Bvlgari Beijing and spend a delightful weekend filled with exquisite food! The pizza bar's creations, to use a popular phrase, were absolutely amazing. The beef tartare pizza with a special chili oil offered an unforgettable sensory experience – the tender beef combined with the exciting kick of the chili oil was simply divine. The lemon cheesecake pizza had no harsh sourness from the lemon at all; the overall balance with the cheese was perfect. And the strawberry blossom pizza was truly the highlight of highlights, with the nuts adding a brilliant, masterful touch! Manager Stephanie, who is both beautiful and kind, recommended two cocktails and a gelato that truly added the perfect finishing touch to this Bvlgari culinary journey. Ambiance: The sophisticated elegance of Bvlgari provided double assurance of comfort and quality for this weekend. Service: I must especially thank Manager Catherine for arranging such a perfect weekend experience, which was truly full of delights. Whether it was the Italian traditional cuisine workshop with the chef in the Bvlgari Suite, or every aspect of my three-day, two-night stay at Bvlgari, Catherine arranged everything so thoughtfully, making it feel truly like coming home to Beijing! Finally, a huge thank you to our chef – a bowl of lobster pasta and Italian dumplings brought back so many wonderful memories. A chef who can touch people's hearts with food is truly the greatest!"

Just steps from the East Gate of the Summer Palace grounds lies at Summer Palace Hotel - the ideal location from which to discover Beijing.Housed in a series of pavilions, some of which date back over a century and were originally used by guests of the Palace awaiting an audience with the Empress Dowager Cixi, the restort is only 15km from the Forbidden City.A serene retreat ,with pea ceful internal courtyards embracing traditional Chinese architecture ,the proerty provides easy access to such cultural landmarks as the Great Wall ,The Temple of Heaven and the hutongs ,as well ad Beijing's restaurants ,art galleries and other contemporary delights .

"First of all, Jason at the front desk is very helpful and thoughtful. Not to mention the rest of the hotel staff were also friendly and helpful yet leaving you great space of privacy. We were very well taken care of. We stayed in the courtyard suite which is lovely. It feels magical to stay at such a historical place. Breakfast is not in buffet style but the selections offered are good enough especially the Chinese style breakfast. We also enjoyed the champagne and cold cuts platter. Thrilled to find out the spa service operate until 11pm, which we can go to sleep straight after the massage after dinner. On the other hand, the private access entrance to the summer palace is a plus point. As we don’t need to go through the usual public entrance that is full of people. The complimentary traditional costume photoshoot was surprisingly good. The quality of the costumes and make up are easily comparable ( or better than) to the paid one offer outside. Overall, we had a really good time throughout the stay where we were able to experience the tranquility and elegance of the Summer Palace. The team at Summer Palace Hotel done a good job!"

Hotel near Qianmen (Front Gate) and Chongwenmen Commercial Area,Beijing
No. 1 of Luxury Hotels in Beijing
Located in the heart of a traditional hutong neighbourhood inside the Beijing Central Axis, the capital's key cultural artery, Mandarin Oriental Qianmen, Beijing is a remarkable, unique property of just 42 courtyard houses. "Honestly, staying at this hotel for my first time in Beijing truly broadened my horizons and changed my perception of the city. My wife, our child, and I came to Beijing for the May Day holiday. She said since we're here, we might as well splurge and experience a traditional Beijing courtyard. It truly delivered a top-tier luxury experience. The room layout was excellent, the courtyard views were charming, the service was impeccable, and the location was superb with an abundance of food delivery options. Breakfast was all made-to-order. The only thing we missed out on was the bar and hotel activities, but there's always next time. I do have two minor points of discomfort to share, just for reference: 1. When our taxi pulled up to the hotel entrance, a staff member immediately asked me what I was doing there. I was a bit taken aback at first, then explained I was checking in. I'm not blaming him; perhaps I was dressed too casually, but it did feel a little off-putting. 2. On our last day, breakfast felt less crowded, but the food service was incredibly slow. We went at 10 AM, thinking half an hour would be plenty for breakfast, especially since the day before our food arrived in about 15 minutes. This time, we waited half an hour just for the dishes to arrive. Overall, it was absolutely wonderful, and I'd definitely go back if I get the chance. It left a lasting impression, and thinking about it now still brings back such lovely memories, especially sitting in the courtyard at night, listening to music and watching the stars 💫"

"This was my second stay at The Chedi. My last visit was before the floods, and it's still just as perfect. The customer service contacted me in advance and added me to a WeChat group. For my wife's birthday, they sent sparkling wine to the room, and when we ordered dinner at Rongfu Yan, they even included longevity noodles. My wife was very pleased, thank you! I heard that The Chedi ranks second among luxury wilderness hotels in China, with The Banyan Tree Lijiang being first. I've been to The Banyan Tree as well, and personally, I don't think it compares to The Chedi. I'll definitely be returning to The Chedi again."

"Adison, the front desk agent who helped me check in, was excellent. I took a photo of his name tag intending to write a good review after checking out, but my phone broke at the airport. So, I specifically messaged guest relations again to ask for his name. Zoey and Sharon from the guest services center also deserve a special shout-out; they were great at helping me extend my stay and resolve issues. Out of all the InterContinental hotels I've stayed at, I'd say this one has a high standard of service. From the security guards at the entrance and the concierge to the rooms and restaurants, there's absolutely nothing to complain about. Five-star review!"

The PuXuan Hotel and Spa is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. The PuXuan Hotel and Spa is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Beijing. If cleanliness is important to you, this hotel makes an excellent choice, as our guests consider this to be one of the cleanest hotels in the city. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with families.

"The location of The PuXuan is, as they say, 'self-explanatory' good. I was staying at another hotel for three days and then discovered this one. Only after checking in did I realize it's a 5-minute walk to the National Art Museum of China, and right next door to the Guardian Art Center. Some call it an 'art museum at the foot of the imperial city,' and staying here, I found that's no exaggeration—some rooms directly face the Forbidden City and Jingshan Park. In the morning, sunlight bathes the ridge beasts of the Forbidden City, and you can see it right from your bed. For tourists, it saves the hassle of queuing for taxis every day; for those who want to truly experience Beijing, it saves time and energy. I also appreciate the semi-self-service dining. Next time I'm in Beijing, The PuXuan will definitely be my first choice."

This was my partner and my first time vacationing in Miyun, and also our first stay at the Hylla Hotel. The entire trip far exceeded our expectations; it was truly wonderful! I have to specially commend our dedicated concierge, Golden Key Ethan. Before we even arrived, he proactively added us on WeChat to connect, showing incredible thoughtfulness and attention to detail. Knowing we wanted to relax and recuperate, he took the initiative to pre-book Ayurvedic treatments and singing bowl sessions for us at the wellness center. He also thoroughly explained all of the hotel's unique offerings, such as the hillside hot springs, the gymnasium, and the mountain hiking trails, clearly outlining the duration of each activity and any booking注意事项 (important notes). We didn't have to worry about a thing. Throughout our stay, he was incredibly responsive, answering any small questions we had almost instantly. He's reliable, patient, and warm. I later learned he's a professional 'Golden Key' concierge, and his professionalism was evident—it’s rare to find such a dedicated and caring service person. The hotel itself is also outstanding. Tucked away on the hillside, the air is fresh and quiet, with negative oxygen ions reaching 9000! The 12 forest hot springs create an amazing ambiance, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast spread is incredibly rich, far surpassing the quality of a five-star hotel in the city. There’s also a huge kids’ play area, with facilities that cater to both adult relaxation and children's fun. This time it was just my partner and me enjoying a relaxing getaway, and we are completely smitten. We'll definitely bring our daughter and the whole family next time, and we'll certainly ask concierge Ethan to arrange our itinerary again! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a short, relaxing getaway in the Beijing suburbs or a family trip. Whether it's the facilities or the thoughtful service, it's absolutely worth making a special trip!

I have to give this hotel a huge thumbs up! First off, the staff were incredibly warm and responsive, handling any request promptly and perfectly. The courtyard of the siheyuan is particularly charming and makes for great photos; the rooms, meanwhile, are clean, tidy, and well-designed, making for a very comfortable stay. My overall travel experience was definitely enhanced by this hotel, and I highly recommend it!

Staying at the Waldorf Astoria was an absolutely fantastic experience! I was initially torn between a few five-star hotels, but the moment I walked in and saw the luxurious interior, I knew I'd made the right choice. I stayed in a twin room, which was nearly 4000 yuan a night, and every detail was meticulously thought out – from the bed bench to the writing desk, and the solid fixtures in the bathroom, all reflecting the Waldorf Astoria's high-end quality. My personal concierge, Willow, provided excellent service, promptly answering all my questions. The hotel staff were also very perceptive and offered great service! The breakfast here was delicious too. It was a truly wonderful stay, and next time, I'd love to experience their courtyard suites; I'm sure they're just as amazing.

Bringing my parents and kids along, choosing this hotel was such a smart move! The service was incredibly attentive, the surroundings were beautiful, and we even got a free upgrade to a suite – the whole family was thrilled. My child was participating in the Spartan race, and the hotel provided a special shuttle service, which was a huge convenience. The food was delicious, and breakfast used high-quality ingredients. My kids even loved the hotel's handicraft class. The window view overlooks the lake at the Beijing Expo Park, with mountains in the distance – the scenery is absolutely stunning, making our stay incredibly comfortable!

A butler was waiting for us while we parked, showing exceptional service. Upon checking in at the lobby, we were offered complimentary snacks and drinks. To my delight, they upgraded our room for free, allowing for a better view of Yanqi Lake. The room table had fruit and wine, and the butler had even prepared aromatherapy. Surprisingly, the bathroom floor was also thoughtfully equipped with a non-slip mat. The butler also brought our luggage to our room, and to my surprise, given the slightly chilly temperature, they even brought down a warm coat from the car – incredibly considerate! We had initially mentioned needing to get our luggage, but only remembered when they went to retrieve it, and then they thoughtfully brought us the warm coat! We also participated in an afternoon cultural tour, which provided a deeper understanding of the hotel's design style and philosophy. The food was excellent, and the hotel facilities, cleanliness, and environment were superb! Not to mention the butler's service – it was exceptional! I highly recommend this hotel to families visiting Yanqi Lake. If we go again in the future, we will definitely choose Yanbai Mountain Villa again!

This was a wonderful stay, starting with the warm and attentive guidance and service from Yanqi Hotel's butler, Shirley. The hotel's unique garden environment is a rare and private luxury in Beijing. Another highlight was the spacious and spotless room, with captivating lakeside views from outside the suite. Strolling through the grounds, you can see the harmonious coexistence of nature and culture everywhere. At the end of our trip, butler Shirley was already waiting in the lobby, and the concierge rushed over from afar to help with our luggage. Smiles, greenery, tranquility, comfort, stunning views, and personalized service are the keywords that come to mind for this hotel. One even deeper impression I have is that every staff member I interacted with or observed, genuinely loved their hotel. Even the servers in the breakfast restaurant could enthusiastically tell guests all about the hotel, as if recounting their own treasured possessions. It was clear this wasn't just trained rhetoric, but a genuine joy and pride from the heart.

This was our first trip with our five-month-old, and we chose Yanqi Lake, which isn't too far from home, to finally visit the Sunrise Kempinski Hotel (I heard recently that Kempinski pulled out and Anaya might take over management, just hearsay). Upon arrival, the doorman saw we had a lot of luggage and proactively brought over a luggage cart, helped load our bags, and took them to the lobby for check-in. The lady at check-in was very friendly and asked about our child's age to confirm if we needed children's toiletries. Since our little one is quite young, they provided a bath mat for easier bathing. They also informed us that due to a conference at the hotel that day, we were upgraded to a suite with a small living room, which was a great experience. The room, overall, showed some age, but it was well-maintained. The air conditioning was powerful, and the room was clean. Most importantly, the view was lovely. A suite with a small living room is perfect for traveling with a baby; once the baby is asleep in the bedroom, adults can watch TV or have a late-night snack in the living room. The breakfast the next day was standard, similar to other five-star hotels. However, I must mention that the restaurant staff's attitude was quite poor. My family member was carrying hot noodles, and the server just stood by without offering help. Later, while pouring milk, a nearby milk bottle almost fell, and the server just watched. Eventually, another guest helped out. This is an area for improvement. The hotel's location is great for kids. In the evening, we strolled along the embankment next to the hotel, and the next day after breakfast, we visited Yanqi Island. Guests staying at the hotel can get a pass from the front desk to access the island directly. Overall, it was a very good experience and worth revisiting.

Traveling to Beijing, this hotel really stood out! The location is excellent, in a high-end area, and the service is top-notch. As someone who pays close attention to details, I was incredibly impressed. They even upgraded my room to one with a separate vanity area, which I absolutely loved! The high-floor views are fantastic, and the surrounding facilities are very convenient. Both check-in and check-out were super fast. The room fragrance was lovely, and it was quiet and well-soundproofed, definitely meeting star-rated hotel standards. Overall, excellent! I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Beijing.

This hotel is truly something special, brimming with character and unique features that constantly surprise you. The visual and spatial design is unconventional and aesthetically pleasing. The staff are incredibly friendly and make you feel comfortable. The best part is that the hotel is directly connected to a mall, offering a complete range of dining, entertainment, and shopping options without ever needing to step outside. The location is also fantastic, with Dongdaqiao subway station just a stone's throw away.
