Perfect
CcarrascooHonestly, staying at this hotel for my first time in Beijing truly broadened my horizons and changed my perception of the city. My wife, our child, and I came to Beijing for the May Day holiday. She said since we're here, we might as well splurge and experience a traditional Beijing courtyard. It truly delivered a top-tier luxury experience. The room layout was excellent, the courtyard views were charming, the service was impeccable, and the location was superb with an abundance of food delivery options. Breakfast was all made-to-order. The only thing we missed out on was the bar and hotel activities, but there's always next time. I do have two minor points of discomfort to share, just for reference: 1. When our taxi pulled up to the hotel entrance, a staff member immediately asked me what I was doing there. I was a bit taken aback at first, then explained I was checking in. I'm not blaming him; perhaps I was dressed too casually, but it did feel a little off-putting. 2. On our last day, breakfast felt less crowded, but the food service was incredibly slow. We went at 10 AM, thinking half an hour would be plenty for breakfast, especially since the day before our food arrived in about 15 minutes. This time, we waited half an hour just for the dishes to arrive. Overall, it was absolutely wonderful, and I'd definitely go back if I get the chance. It left a lasting impression, and thinking about it now still brings back such lovely memories, especially sitting in the courtyard at night, listening to music and watching the stars 💫

GGuest UserI specifically brought my kids to Universal Studios and decided to stay here for two nights. I debated for a long time whether to stay at a Universal hotel or nearby, and I'm so glad I chose this place. Upon arrival, I thought the hotel was particularly beautiful and very new. Check-in was on the eighth floor. From the floor-to-ceiling windows on the eighth floor, you can get a really clear view of Hogwarts Castle. We were given a corner room on the tenth floor, which was very quiet, though a bit of a walk from the elevator. The room had two 1.3-meter beds, which was enough for me and my two kids. There's also a capsule coffee machine in the room, so I could make coffee in the morning. I didn't opt for the hotel breakfast because we woke up late. The hotel's location is excellent. It's a 5-minute taxi ride to Universal Studios, and right next door is the Wangfujing Bayland shopping mall, which is huge. You can walk directly through the hotel's third floor to the mall, which is incredibly convenient and keeps you out of the sun. Back to the room: it has two small vanity sinks, so families don't have to crowd. The toilet and shower are separate, but the water pressure in the shower was too low, possibly because we were on the 10th floor. I hope they can improve this; showering wasn't a great experience. On the top floor, there's a bar that's beautiful at night, but they don't allow minors, even for dining, which was a shame. I took the kids up to see the view but we had to go back to the room. There's also a Sichuan restaurant on the 10th floor. The reception area on the eighth floor has a section for hotel afternoon tea, which overlooks the Universal Studios park. There's a swimming pool on the 10th floor. It's not a huge area, but it's quite lovely. I went to take a look but didn't swim. I asked, and it closes at 10:30 PM. After check-out, you can store your luggage on the first floor and then go shopping at the mall. Overall, this hotel offers incredible value for money. Staying here for Universal Studios means you save enough money to buy an Express Pass, which is fantastic!

Oo77oThis five-star hotel is absolutely superb, offering seven-star service. They called me before check-in to confirm my arrival time and ask about any room preferences. As soon as I arrived, they promptly arranged a room on my preferred floor and in my ideal location. They even provided a latex pillow for my neck issues. Since there were many people coming and going for a conference, they replenished our bottled water supply daily, allowing us to relax and enjoy tea and conversation. Housekeeping was also excellent; they only cleaned our room after we had left, ensuring they never disturbed our work or rest. Thank you!

SSChakrabortyMO hotels are usually very well located and this one is no exception. It is like an oasis in the middle of the hustle bustle of Wangfujing and I looked forward to my return to the quiet and solitude of the hotel after suffering the torture of accompanying my wife to numerous shopping malls nearby. We have travelled extensively all over the world and are familiar with well known hotels. I was expecting top notch service with warm hospitality and the hotel certainly lived up to the expectations. All the staff were warm, polite and helpful. Some are more fluent in English than others, but it was not an issue at all. Check in/check out was smooth. Stena at the front desk was very efficient and courteous. Osgood with his pins was also very friendly and saved me the trouble of finding a post office. The dining room staff spoke excellent English and I felt great when one lady said my pronunciation of 谢谢 was perfect. They really know how to make the guests feel happy ! Breakfast buffet had a good mix. After three weeks of travelling in China eating steamed buns, fried rice and noodles for breakfast I was desperate for some proper continental breakfast and the hotel definitely delivered. One of the best almond croissants that I have ever eaten. The egg benedict was perfect. My small gripe with the Avo toast is that I am used to having the Avo mashed and spread on the bread with a bit of lemon/salt and not served just as slices on bread. No big deal of course. Our room did have a partial view of the forbidden city, you get better view from their terrace. I regret that I did not have time to enjoy the pool. Lovely big bathroom , his and hers basins and a separate WC with one of those Toto modern toilets with many buttons, even separate settings for two users ! Very good sound proofing. One small thing that impressed me was that I had left several cables plugged to the wall socket in the morning. On my return I saw house keeping has neatly tidied up all the cables and even used a cable tie to make them look very organised ! This is not a huge hotel and that makes the experience more personal. It does not have a grand lobby and you may be disappointed that the entrance is common with a shopping mall. But as soon as you step out of the lift it oozes old world charm and sense of peace and solitude. Incidentally my daughter was staying at the MO in Barcelona at the same time and told us Bad Bunny was staying there and it has turned into a circus. Thankfully no celebrities and their fans disturbed our peace. Have a look at the room key card. It is designed by Timmy Yip, who was the art director of one my my most favourite films Couching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. I appreciated the gifts at the time of leaving. My one little comment is that I found the pillows a bit on the soft side. Some hotels have a pillow menu where the guests can choose pillows with different level of firmness. Maybe the management can look into that. Overall a very satisfying stay and I'd certainly consider staying here if I return to Beijing.

GGuest UserMy stay here was a delightful surprise! The hotel has a grand and elegant overall style, and the lobby is comfortable and chic. The room was spacious, and the cleanliness was impeccable. The bedding was soft and gentle on the skin, making for an excellent night's sleep. The front desk staff and guest relations team, DALE and ARIA, were professional and attentive, always promptly addressing any needs. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, and the transportation was also very convenient.

RRudyMadrigalI’m truly grateful for this specific service apartment—it has been absolutely ideal for my stay in Beijing. It fits my needs perfectly, and I feel safe and at ease staying here. Due to my severe allergies, I could not stay in a standard hotel. Outside food holds too many hidden risks, filled with unknown plants and herbs that trigger my reactions. Cooking for myself is the only way I can stay healthy. I recently tried breakfast here and accidentally ate Chinese cured bacon, mistaking it for regular bacon. It was smoked with local vegetation I’m allergic to, which immediately caused an allergic response. This experience showed me how vital this service apartment truly is. Having a full kitchen lets me control every ingredient I eat. In an unfamiliar city where so many foods carry hidden allergens, this apartment gives me the safety and stability I desperately need.

KKaixinguofeimeiI booked this hotel for my Mexican clients who were traveling in China. They absolutely loved it and said it's a hotel they'd choose again if they came back to China. They specifically mentioned that the front desk staff were very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. They even said they'd be back!

AAnonymous UserOverall, I was satisfied. The breakfast was plentiful and the service was good. The room had good soundproofing, was clean and quiet, and the air conditioning worked well with fresh air. The hotel facilities are relatively new. The towels were a bit basic and didn't quite meet the standard of a five-star hotel. The front desk and luggage storage department were very conscientious and responsible, thumbs up! I was a bit confused because before booking, I saw pictures of the room with a small teahouse-like area with a separate long table, tea set, and chairs. However, when I checked in, I found that area was blocked off by a screen, which made the room feel particularly small, especially the family room. I wonder why? Also, the front desk charged a 1000 RMB deposit directly upon check-in, which made me feel a bit untrusted. Additionally, the sliding door for the bathtub and shower only covered half the area, which felt quite inconvenient in such a small room. I personally think the screen should have been used more appropriately.

GGuest UserMy kids absolutely loved the room. I'm conflicted about the service score. The front desk staff was incredibly welcoming, easily a 5/5. The cleaning staff were also very friendly. However, I'm giving a 2-star rating because there's no dedicated drop-off/pick-up area at the entrance; you have to stop on the street. Also, it seems the hotel cuts costs by not having doormen. When I arrived, it was drizzling, and I had several suitcases and two kids. I had to drag everything into the lobby and then up to the room myself, with no help whatsoever. For a hotel costing over 2,000 RMB a night – I spent over 10,000 RMB – I didn't receive even the most basic service. Comparison truly highlights the shortcomings. The day before, after arriving in Beijing late at night, I decided to stay at the airport Hilton for one night, which cost just over 900 RMB. There was a free shuttle bus at the airport entrance, and the driver immediately got out to help load my luggage onto the bus. From the moment I got off the shuttle, there were staff greeting me and helping with my bags, escorting me into the lobby and offering all sorts of assistance, even delivering my luggage directly to the room.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, right near China World Mall, just a ten-minute walk away. The surrounding area has everything you need: transportation, shopping, and dining options. The staff are very professional, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of tasty options. However, the room facilities are a bit old, and there was a slight electrical buzzing noise in the room. It wasn't very loud, but it did impact my sleep.
