Perfect
CcarrascooHonestly, staying at this hotel for my first time in Beijing truly broadened my horizons and changed my perception of the city. My wife, our child, and I came to Beijing for the May Day holiday. She said since we're here, we might as well splurge and experience a traditional Beijing courtyard. It truly delivered a top-tier luxury experience. The room layout was excellent, the courtyard views were charming, the service was impeccable, and the location was superb with an abundance of food delivery options. Breakfast was all made-to-order. The only thing we missed out on was the bar and hotel activities, but there's always next time. I do have two minor points of discomfort to share, just for reference: 1. When our taxi pulled up to the hotel entrance, a staff member immediately asked me what I was doing there. I was a bit taken aback at first, then explained I was checking in. I'm not blaming him; perhaps I was dressed too casually, but it did feel a little off-putting. 2. On our last day, breakfast felt less crowded, but the food service was incredibly slow. We went at 10 AM, thinking half an hour would be plenty for breakfast, especially since the day before our food arrived in about 15 minutes. This time, we waited half an hour just for the dishes to arrive. Overall, it was absolutely wonderful, and I'd definitely go back if I get the chance. It left a lasting impression, and thinking about it now still brings back such lovely memories, especially sitting in the courtyard at night, listening to music and watching the stars 💫

AAnonymous UserThis was the best hotel I have probably ever stayed in!! Everything was super amazing! I was here with my cousin for the weekend to visit Universal Studios. It was super convenient and close to the park. Most hotels I’ve been to, the air is quite dry and dusty and it gets my allergies going, but it was super clean. I also requested a non-smoking room and so it smelled very fresh in the room. The shower and bath were very relaxing, the soaps and shampoos provided smelled really nice too! They had lots of amenities in the room from toothbrushes, nespresso coffee, bath salts, a soft bathrobe, slippers and even a shoe horn to slip on your shoes! The room was very spacious and we were lucky to get a view of the park! The breakfast was also amazing! There were lots of food items to chose from! They had both traditional Chinese breakfast and English style breakfast items. I loved the pastries and salad bar! They also had fresh made juices that were very nice to drink in the morning, I loved the watermelon pear juice! There was also a central station where you could ask the chefs to cook noodles or your choice of eggs. Overall super satisfied!! The hotel service is definitely top tier. The staff were all incredibly friendly and kind. We weren’t sure on the first morning how to use the latte machine and the staff immediately helped us and brought it to our table. There was even a free shuttle to and from Universal studios, however they do pickup and leave the park a bit early, I believe around 8:40pm. I’m assuming it’s to avoid the traffic jam after the park closes. We ended up calling a cab both times because we were enjoying the breakfast too much! Even when we checked out of the hotel, the staff outside still helped us into our cab to the train station. The only real con I would say is that it was a bit hard to exit the parking area due to there being two weddings happening that weekend. Our cab drivers weren’t sure where to exit out from, but it wasn’t super hard to get out.  Overall, this was a great stay and I would definitely come back! I’ve already recommended this place to a few others! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!!  非常感谢您的盛情宽带!!

Oo77oThis five-star hotel is absolutely superb, offering seven-star service. They called me before check-in to confirm my arrival time and ask about any room preferences. As soon as I arrived, they promptly arranged a room on my preferred floor and in my ideal location. They even provided a latex pillow for my neck issues. Since there were many people coming and going for a conference, they replenished our bottled water supply daily, allowing us to relax and enjoy tea and conversation. Housekeeping was also excellent; they only cleaned our room after we had left, ensuring they never disturbed our work or rest. Thank you!

YYongyuanzaijianfeidexiaochihuoTraveling to Beijing with my kids for a concert, after much deliberation, I still chose the Mandarin Oriental, a hotel I've always loved! Their consistently thoughtful service and excellent food proved my decision was spot on, haha~ The location of Mandarin Oriental Wangfujing is unbeatable; it's very close to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, with plenty of shopping malls and great dining options nearby. The large terrace on the 5th floor offers stunning views, and this time I even managed to capture the Forbidden City at sunset~ The semi-buffet breakfast with a la carte options is very convenient, and all the pastries are handmade daily, which my kids thoroughly enjoyed~ Many thanks to Rosie from Guest Relations, as well as Aimyon and Stena, who made my four-night stay truly delightful!

PpstarThe location is unbeatable, it's the newest hotel of its caliber within the Third Ring Road, even though it's been open for 10 years, which explains its consistently firm pricing. The hard decor style clearly aimed for a W-like vibe within the InterContinental brand, but it didn't quite hit the mark. The pool changing room was the biggest letdown – a tiny space with no seating and a foul odor. I remember when it first opened, the pool even had an underwater pedal exerciser that was visible from outside; not sure why they removed it.

GGuest UserMy kids absolutely loved the room. I'm conflicted about the service score. The front desk staff was incredibly welcoming, easily a 5/5. The cleaning staff were also very friendly. However, I'm giving a 2-star rating because there's no dedicated drop-off/pick-up area at the entrance; you have to stop on the street. Also, it seems the hotel cuts costs by not having doormen. When I arrived, it was drizzling, and I had several suitcases and two kids. I had to drag everything into the lobby and then up to the room myself, with no help whatsoever. For a hotel costing over 2,000 RMB a night – I spent over 10,000 RMB – I didn't receive even the most basic service. Comparison truly highlights the shortcomings. The day before, after arriving in Beijing late at night, I decided to stay at the airport Hilton for one night, which cost just over 900 RMB. There was a free shuttle bus at the airport entrance, and the driver immediately got out to help load my luggage onto the bus. From the moment I got off the shuttle, there were staff greeting me and helping with my bags, escorting me into the lobby and offering all sorts of assistance, even delivering my luggage directly to the room.

RRudyMadrigalI’m truly grateful for this specific service apartment—it has been absolutely ideal for my stay in Beijing. It fits my needs perfectly, and I feel safe and at ease staying here. Due to my severe allergies, I could not stay in a standard hotel. Outside food holds too many hidden risks, filled with unknown plants and herbs that trigger my reactions. Cooking for myself is the only way I can stay healthy. I recently tried breakfast here and accidentally ate Chinese cured bacon, mistaking it for regular bacon. It was smoked with local vegetation I’m allergic to, which immediately caused an allergic response. This experience showed me how vital this service apartment truly is. Having a full kitchen lets me control every ingredient I eat. In an unfamiliar city where so many foods carry hidden allergens, this apartment gives me the safety and stability I desperately need.

KKaixinguofeimeiI booked this hotel for my Mexican clients who were traveling in China. They absolutely loved it and said it's a hotel they'd choose again if they came back to China. They specifically mentioned that the front desk staff were very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. They even said they'd be back!

BBenben087The room was quite spacious, and booking a twin room with 1.35m beds was convenient for us with two kids. The front desk and housekeeping staff were very attentive and friendly. We returned from sightseeing on the first day to find a fresh fruit platter, and there was plenty of drinking water. The location is excellent, with all sorts of food options within walking distance. The Line 8 subway entrance is just a few meters across the street, which is extremely convenient. Highly recommended! After exploring for two days, we found that taking the subway one stop to Jinyu Hutong or walking all the way to the Imperial Ancestral Temple and Forbidden City was even faster than taking a taxi. The only thing I feel could be improved is the revolving door at the hotel entrance; the perfume scent was way too strong, giving it a very Southeast Asian feel. My child even said it made them feel a bit nauseous.

GGuest UserThis was my first stay at the Grand Millennium Beijing, and it exceeded my expectations by far. It wasn't overly crowded, so it felt very peaceful and quiet. The swimming pool is a major highlight, integrated seamlessly with the gym on a different floor, creating a spacious, high-ceilinged area with a Southeast Asian vibe. I encountered many Hong Kongers there, from business travelers in the elevator to an elderly couple in the executive lounge; they were all very humble and friendly. The surrounding area boasts a wide variety of restaurants, and the Fortune Plaza Mall is practically a canteen for Beijing's white-collar workers. The night view is also top-notch, with the CCTV Headquarters lit up beautifully. A pleasant surprise was bumping into a celebrity while working out – the 'rooster among roosters,' haha. The Grand Millennium is fantastic, giving me every reason to return. The male manager who handled my check-in was very gracious, and the service was just perfect.
