MM220101****The room was very spacious and clean. The service attitude was excellent! My only suggestion would be to have a more varied breakfast. Overall, it's a great choice for business trips in the area. 👍

GGuest UserThe service was incredibly thoughtful, with smiles from check-in to check-out. The room was spotless, and the bedding was so comfortable I didn't want to get out of bed. The location is absolutely fantastic – right outside are subway stations and a shopping district, with three different subway lines nearby, making it super convenient for getting around. It’s perfect for shopping, dining, and entertainment; a top choice if you want to eat, play, or shop. The desk in the lobby is huge. The front desk upgraded my room to a ground-floor room with floor-to-ceiling windows. Even though it was raining, there was absolutely no dampness because the room was situated quite high up. The soundproofing in the room was also good. For food deliveries, a robot brought them directly to the room. The hotel facilities are excellent, with smart toilets and screen-casting TVs all available. The room was clean, spacious, and bright, with a well-designed wet/dry separation in the bathroom. The hot water came on incredibly fast, piping hot in three seconds, and the water pressure was great. The bath towels were soft, huge, and super absorbent. The hairdryer, though small, was powerful and dried my hair quickly. The laundry room downstairs with its washer and dryer was also fantastic; the clothes came out perfectly wrinkle-free after drying.

GGuest UserThe location is great, very close to the subway, especially Line 8, which is super convenient for watching the flag-raising ceremony and exploring Qianmen Street for food and shopping. The decor is a bit dated, and there's no mini-fridge, but the wide bedside table is very practical, and the bay window is perfect for families. The service was good; they even upgraded us to a room with a view of Zhengyangmen Gate, which was fantastic. Breakfast wasn't very convenient though.

GGuest UserIt’s a basic hotel that has recently been remodelled. We just wanted a cheap hotel close to the train station and close to the MRT so this ticked all the boxes. The room was spacious, clean and new. Wonderful shower. Only thing that caught me by surprise was our room had no window (it was a painting). But it was fine for the price. Some rooms do have windows, but these would be deluxe.

GGuest UserTo be honest, I wasn’t much satisfied with my stay at the Orange hotel in Sanlitun.  Actually I stayed at another Orange hotel in Wenzhou that was very nice and based on my experience there, I decided to stay at Orange hotel again, but boy I was wrong.  The hotel itself looked a bit old and worn down, something that one wouldn’t expect for a posh area as Sanlitun.

I was particularly not pleased with my stay, especially the first two nights.  Only upon arrival, I was informed about a planned water and power outage.  So it was a bit too late for me to look for another hotel.  Had had to sleep in pitch dark with no a/c or running water.   Then comes the communication aspect.  On the overall, communicating in English can be very challenging throughout China.  I chose the relatively expensive Sanlitun area assuming that it’s widely popular with foreign tourists and expats alike, that hotels and businesses would have people with some basic knowledge of English.  I’m not even talking about fluent English here.  Hotel staff at either locations, didn’t even speak one single word of English.  They rely completely on translation apps for foreigners but even with translation app, they don’t always seem to get the message right.  Maybe when English is translated into Chinese, the translation is kinda bad.   The staff at checkin had agreed to offer a discount for the inconvenience for power and water outage but turns out she didn’t even bother to look into it.  When I followed up with them again, it was so hard  trying to explain the situation and what was previously agreed upon, that I got so frustrated that I ended up giving up altogether.   Coming to my experience with the stay itself, while it wasn’t terribly bad, it wasn’t the greatest either.  I supposedly had the deluxe room and at almost 100 USD a night, it’s by no means a cheap accommodation and one would expect some level of hotel comfort which was just missing.  The room layout itself was very awkward.  The bed was tucked in some tight space with no bedside table to easily use to charge phone or keep stuff while lying in bed.  To make it worse, the main control switch, was on the side of the bed headboard with no direct access.  That would mean that every time you have to use the light, or draw the curtains etc, you’d have to climb in bed to access the switch control.  The power outlet, one and only for hotel guests to use, was also by the main switch with no direct access and no bedside table to place stuff that needed charging.  The bad experience doesn’t just end here.  The power socket, was so loose that it won’t even hold an iPhone charger.  So, I had had to use the outlet by the vanity to charge phone and laptop.  How inconvenient as every time I had to use the phone or check messages, I would have to get off bed and walk to the vanity to see messages etc.  The room description also boast about city view.  The view from that particular room was just of some parking lot.  I presume some other rooms must have gorgeous views of the Sanlitun mall area.     On the overall, the place isn’t that bad.  All I’m trying to say is, they charge way too much for the type of room and experience you get there.

GGuest UserI genuinely recommend this hotel! The rooms are meticulously tidy, with new and stylish decor. Before heading to Universal Studios, we inquired about luggage storage, and the hotel readily agreed, safely keeping our bags for two days. To our surprise, they even offered a free upgrade! All three nights, our booked inner-facing room was upgraded to a king-sized bed room. It was incredibly quiet inside after checking in, making for a truly excellent rest. Seeing that we had two children, the staff thoughtfully prepared special kids' slippers and even provided extra bottled water and dental kits. These thoughtful details were incredibly heartwarming. The staff were enthusiastic, polite, and provided attentive service throughout, making our stay cozy and comfortable. The hotel is located on Qianmen Street, a truly excellent location. The subway entrance is just a 200-meter walk away, providing convenient access to all parts of the city for sightseeing, near and far. At the same time, it avoids the hustle and bustle of Dashilar and Xianyu Kou, truly offering peace and quiet amidst the city's vibrancy. It's definitely an ideal choice for families with children, and I'll prioritize staying here again next time!

GGuest UserThe overall environment was clean and refreshing. The staff were gentle, enthusiastic, and incredibly friendly. The food was delicious and perfectly suited my taste, and the service details were impeccable. The most thoughtful touch was the direct room service from downstairs, making my stay truly hassle-free and comfortable. 👍

GGuest UserThis hotel offers great value for money. The room was spacious with a window overlooking the street, and the price was excellent. I especially appreciated the human touch of being able to redeem points for breakfast and a late check-out. The breakfast itself was good and plentiful. The location is convenient, with Changying subway station nearby, as well as shopping centers, restaurants, and a park. The only downside is that some of the facilities are a bit dated, and the lobby feels a bit plain and unexciting.

GGuest UserNice tea set and tea leaves provided. Location good. Nearby is a heated pool to soak your tired feet after all the walking. Breakfast included was good. One can sit in an outdoor section (2 tables only) and enjoy the view. It's jointly managed by the hotel opposite and breakfast was served there. Cats like to hang around the door entrance. Only down-side was there's nowhere to hang one's clothes or towel. There are pegs beside the bathroom basin but it was also adjacent to the toilet bowl and there's a risk the clothes or towel may drop and land beside the toilet bowl.

GGuest UserBooked for five nights, from Feb 13th to 18th. We decided to take our child on a trip before the Chinese New Year. Honestly, I expected a standard room for around 300 RMB during this time to be just 'barely acceptable,' and the hotel lobby was quite small, more like a guesthouse. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I entered the room. It was clean and tidy, and the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet. The only drawback was that the space was a bit small, but the bed wasn't tiny. For a family of four (two adults, two kids), one large bed didn't feel cramped at all. The only real issue in winter was not having enough space to hang clothes. I imagine a deluxe standard room or a family room would be much better. The hotel is conveniently located; exit and turn left, and in about a hundred meters, you'll reach F-exit of Caishikou Subway Station, making lines 4 and 7 easily accessible. It's also not far from Niujie; you can take a bus for just one yuan, which is about two stops away. We actually walked back to the hotel after having dinner in Niujie.
