"The room was clean and the facilities were great, especially the breakfast which offered a wide variety of both Chinese and Western options. For this price in Beijing, staying at a hotel like this is truly excellent value for money. What's more, the hotel even paid for a private Didi (ride-hailing service) to take us to the airport, and we went straight to the exact terminal we requested, which was fantastic! This alone makes the hotel worth booking. I'll definitely stay here again next time."

"We chose Beijing for our high school graduation trip, and stayed at this hotel for five nights out of our six-day journey. Since it was before the peak summer season, the price was quite reasonable, and the overall experience was very smooth! The hotel's hygiene and cleanliness were excellent. I didn't experience any skin discomfort during our five-night stay (though this can vary for different people). The robot delivery for takeout was prompt and convenient; no need to go downstairs. The hotel breakfast offered a good variety of both Chinese and Western options. It wasn't just generic pre-made food; the dishes were fresh. We stayed in a twin room. The room had good natural light, and the window size was appropriate. Some rooms seemed to face office buildings, while others faced the road, but overall it was quiet. The air conditioning made a slight noise, but it didn't significantly affect our sleep. The laundry room on the second floor was well-equipped with washing, drying, and steam ironing facilities. You could do it yourself or leave your laundry card for staff to assist. Also, we requested room cleaning every day after we left. Coming back in the evening to a tidy room was a pleasant feeling, and they never moved our luggage around. Issues were resolved promptly. One evening, our key card wouldn't open the door, and someone came upstairs to fix it very quickly. Additionally, opposite the front desk on the first floor, there's a coffee machine, ice dispenser, small fridge, and lemon water, all with disposable cups provided – very convenient. There are many shopping malls near the hotel. Across the street is a 24-hour Lawson convenience store. A bit further is a mall called 'Saite +' (赛特+), which isn't huge but has everything you need, making it quite practical for daily life. If you don't want to go too far but want to eat at a restaurant, you can check the food establishments on the map in advance. The subway is about 600 meters away, I think? There's a shared bike parking spot right downstairs, so you can cycle if you don't want to walk. Plus, the subway is Line 1, which makes it easy to get anywhere. There's also a Mixue Bingcheng (蜜雪冰城) nearby~ For taxis, the pick-up point is directly at the hotel entrance, so it's easy to find."

"Service: All hotel staff are very friendly and approachable. It is one of highlights for my Beijing trips. Staff directed us the nearest location of supermarket, taught other food ordering platform while my ******* apps did not work, help us to find Taobao delivery package. Staff are very helpful for every request and not hesitate to offer their help. They even give us free upgrade room even we check in during midnight (close to 1am) and help to keep for luggage for 1 nights while we are away for Gu bei shui zhen (Beijing Wtown). Truly felt warmth in the foreign country. Facilities: Room is clean and spacious. Have self-used laundry service (3 washing machine and dryer) with free shampoo and softener. However, some traveler did not collect/ dry their clothes on time occasionally. (*Hope every user who stays in be considerate to each other). Location: It located at great place and convenient. Very close to WangFuJing street and metro station of JinYuHuTong (one of entrance is just inside Yin Tai In88). Have pharmacy & Miniso within 2-3min walk. In front of hotel was church - it is holy and quiet place. It has good night view as well. Overall, I have enjoyable 6nights stay in this hotel and would definitely recommended this hotel for everyone, even solo traveler."

"I stayed at this hotel during my trip to Beijing, and overall, it was a great experience. The room was spacious enough, and everything was neatly arranged. The most comfortable part was definitely the mattress – after a long day of walking, lying down didn't leave me with any back pain. There were plenty of power outlets, so charging my devices was never an issue, and they were conveniently placed. The internet speed was stable too, making it perfectly fine for getting work done. The front desk staff were very friendly and responsive; they weren't dismissive and were quick to help whenever needed. There aren't any fancy, unnecessary features here, just practical amenities that get the job done. If you're looking for something simple and comfortable, this place is definitely worth considering."

Facilities: The facilities are comprehensive, with a fridge, smart toilet, smart speaker, and electric curtains in the room. The hotel also has a laundry room and a gym. However, there's only one elevator, so expect a wait during peak hours. The room has a balcony, but the soundproofing could be improved. Hygiene: Up to standard, no obvious flaws, but there's room for improvement. Environment: Located on a corner at a crossroads, with supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The subway station is right downstairs, and Changying Tianjie shopping mall is just across the street. Very convenient. However, the window faces an office building, which is quite close. Service: Excellent. Quick response and a great attitude. They even upgraded my room proactively. The breakfast was also very good, with a wide variety of options.

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Wangfujing Pedestrian Street, surrounded by luxury shops, making it very convenient to get around. The Mandarin Oriental's attention to detail is superb. The understated luxury and 'old money' vibe are precisely my style. The vanity room is spacious, and they prepared welcome fruits and snacks, a bottle of red wine, and even pear soup, along with a beautifully written welcome letter. It truly made me feel right at home. Breakfast is a mix of buffet and à la carte, with fresh, organic ingredients and amazing flavors. I even had breakfast alongside the Russian ambassador at the next table! Sipping a coffee with a Forbidden City latte art design on the large terrace overlooking the Forbidden City, I truly experienced a taste of royal life. So happy! 😃

A friend who was accompanying my daughter to take an exam recommended this hotel to me. I felt very comfortable when I opened the door. I booked an executive double room. The room was large and clean. Both the front desk and the cleaning lady were very enthusiastic and helpful. There was unlimited drinking water in the room. The service was very thoughtful. Next time I have the chance to come to Beijing, this will be my first choice!

Amazing! We spent five nights staying in a deluxe king room with terrace/balcony at The Purple Horse Hotel in Beijing at the end of June 2026.. The location is excellent. The hotel is situated in the heart of a Hutong which offers a calm quiet and serene experience in the middle of a bustling city, only a short walk to restaurants and shops. The Hutong itself is a great experience, it's safe and friendly and we enjoyed chatting to the locals at the corner shop. The hotel is absolutely wonderful. It's less than two years old and It is finished to a really high standard, the attention to detail is incredible. It felt luxurious with the highest quality furnishings and the bathroom and shower were like something you would find in a spa. Our room had great views over the Hutong and the Beijing skyline and had excellent air conditioning. We had a buffet breakfast and a buffet dinner included and it was delicious and served in a beautiful restaurant on the top floor. Above that there was an amazing rooftop terrace with an outdoor swimming pool, a cocktail bar and 360⁰ views of the city. There is also a Peking duck restaurant on the ground floor, a gym and a self service complimentary laundry room. The best thing about this hotel is the staff. The level of service and the attentiveness of the staff is at a level that we have never experienced before. The staff are super friendly and polite and they are always trying to help. Our room was cleaned to an immaculate level every day and we were often left little gifts and kind notes. The service in the restaurant was great and once again always really kind and friendly, special mention to Nieve for looking after us so well. Anything we needed, any questions we had, the staff really went out of their way to help us and did so with big smiles on their faces and we had fun times in our interactions with them. Everyone had a good level of English, especially the front for house staff and management . If you want a comfortable, clean, modern hotel with great facilities, in a great, safe location and would like staff that will advise and help you and direct you and even organise trips and transport for you, then this is the hotel for you. We would like to thank some of the staff that really went out of their way to help us. Ella and Anduo who organised a print shop for us and helped us find some specific gift shops. Nieve for making us smile everyday in the restaurant. The housekeeping team for making our room so clean, comfortable and amazing every day. Terry the manager for being a really nice guy, for taking the time to talk to us and ask us if we needed anything everyday. And Kevin for making us some really nice tea and helping us with everything when we were checking out. We have stayed in hotels all over the world but this one will always stand out for being that little bit different, for being so immaculate and for going the extra mile. Thank you very much and we look forward to seeing you next time. John and Elizabeth.

First time in Beijing Yizhuang, and I just randomly picked the Echeng Hotel, but what a pleasant surprise! When I stay at a hotel, cleanliness is my top priority, and this place absolutely nailed it. The room was meticulously cleaned; the floors were sparkling, the desk spotless, and the bathroom tiles and toilet rim were perfectly clean, with not a single water mark or stain. The bedding looked incredibly comfortable, the duvet was soft, and the sheets and duvet cover were crisp and dry – I felt instantly relaxed lying down. The front desk lady was super nice, spoke very gently, and checked me in quickly. She was patient and helpful with all my questions. The room facilities were all very new; the air conditioning, lights, and outlets worked perfectly, and hot water was instant and at a perfect temperature. The internet speed was stable and perfectly fine for daily use. Eating out is also convenient, with small shops downstairs and within walking distance. This is my first time in Beijing, and I'm so glad I found such a satisfying hotel. I truly recommend it!

This was my daughter's first trip to Beijing, so I chose a hotel close to a subway station, with direct access to Beijing West Railway Station via Line 7. The hotel is located on Qianmen Street, which is very lively (this might be inconvenient for light sleepers due to the crowds, but we were so tired from sightseeing we just crashed). There are all sorts of famous restaurants nearby, and the security is excellent. Since I wanted good ventilation, I booked a small window room, but the hotel upgraded us to a large window room. I stayed for three nights, and every day housekeeping cleaned, replaced towels, and replenished drinking water. What's most impressive is that they have a refrigerator! That's a huge plus for summer travelers.

This is our second stay here, and our whole family was once again very satisfied! A special thanks to Olivier Wang, the lobby manager, who provided excellent communication from before check-in all the way through to our departure. He was incredibly responsive, answering all our questions promptly and making us feel completely at ease. What was most thoughtful was that he even helped us arrange a late check-out, which made traveling with children so much more relaxed – truly exceptional service. The hotel environment is outstanding, offering a unique sense of tranquility and design at the foot of the Great Wall. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the service team is both professional and personable. Our entire family gives it a unanimous thumbs-up, and we'll definitely be back!

I have been staying in this hotel since I came back a few years ago. It is very humane and upgraded me to a standard room on a high floor for free. I asked for a few more pairs of slippers, and they were given to me the day before yesterday. The price-performance ratio is very high. I will stay here again next time.
