MmindyTThis hotel is an absolute hidden gem. From the moment we arrived, we felt so well taken care of. It feels like a Ritz-Carlton but with even warmer, more personal service. The corridors are lined with plush carpets, the materials and finishes are all rich and top-notch, and my child immediately described it as “posh” — I’d add that it’s also very zen, peaceful and quiet. The room is generously sized, quiet and very zen. The hotel is new, modern and “smart”: when you get out of bed in the morning, a soft foot light comes on automatically so you don’t have to scramble for switches. The kids loved pressing buttons to close the curtains, and I liked being able to choose between work lighting and cosy ambience at a single touch. Service here is outstanding. Everyone is fully dedicated, responsible, warm and kind — and very prompt. Nothing is ever too much trouble; everything is handled politely, respectfully and thoughtfully, so you really feel safe and well looked after. The team also has a lovely sense of humour, which adds to the comfort and makes the stay feel relaxed and friendly rather than stiff. On top of that, they even helped me plan safe and cost-effective travel options — such amazing, value-added service. Special thanks to Xiaoyu and Xiaoliu, who were excellent throughout. Xiaoyu especially made the extra effort to be promptly on hand via WeChat, helping with any queries even after hours — it honestly felt like having a friend there with us. The rest of the team were equally attentive and caring, and I noticed everyone would greet the guests, including the cleaners. It is a very well-run hotel: not just following instructions but offering real service from the heart. When we checked out, they even surprised us with bags of lovely snacks, which was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture. Breakfast was wonderful. The spread has everything one could ever need: noodles and omelettes cooked on the spot with a rich meat stew, a choice of porridges (I especially liked the millet), plus Western and kid-friendly options, and many different drinks to choose from. Insider tip: don’t miss the croissant — it has egg custard inside as a filling! The toiletries, like the shampoo and soap, are specially made and feel high quality — another small touch that shows how much care has gone into the details. The location is incredibly convenient. Huge malls and a hypermart are literally at the doorstep, and the MRT/subway is linked directly to the hotel. The nearby malls and eateries are massive and have everything you could possibly want. There’s an outlet mall about 15 minutes away, so shopping is definitely covered. Practical bonuses: major banks are right downstairs, and if you need to change RMB, the exchange rate is very good and the fees are reasonable. There’s even a salon if you feel like getting a new haircut during your stay. Through the connected mall, you can find food of every kind, including Michelin-starred options — including a restaurant that serves crab cooked in liquor and delicious braised radish. Although the hotel is luxurious, modern and packed with smart features, what I treasure most is the dedication, warmth and sincerity of the staff. I’ve stayed at many other hotel chains, but this experience is way beyond anything I’ve had before. This stay has now set a very high bar for other hotels to match. Highly, highly recommended.

GGuest UserWe got a room upgrade on the day of our stay, with a view of Universal Studios, but it was still a half-hour walk away. Taking the subway and then walking only saved us about 500 meters. Luckily, there's a shuttle bus in the mornings and evenings. The hotel itself is beautiful, like a designer hotel. It's newly opened, so the hygiene and service are excellent. Check-in is on the 8th floor, which I found a bit odd. The ground floor has plenty of space and could be used for exhibitions or even the front desk. Checking out wasn't very convenient as we had to go back to the 8th floor first. We didn't try the hotel breakfast because we had the Universal Studios Silver VIP pass. Also, the complimentary water comes in cans, which I found strange. They're not easy to store or carry around, and since we drink a lot of water, we had to buy extra outside. Despite these minor issues, I would still recommend this hotel if I visit Universal Studios again or if friends come to visit.

GGuest UserI was very satisfied with my stay! The hotel is conveniently located, with convenient transportation around it, and is close to the attractions/business districts I want to visit. The front desk service was warm and thoughtful, and the check-in was very quick. They also introduced the hotel facilities and surroundings to me. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the facilities were complete. In particular, the water pressure and hot water in the bathroom were very powerful and relaxing. Although I only stayed for one night, the overall experience was very pleasant and the price-performance ratio was super high! I will choose this hotel again next time I come here, and I highly recommend it!

GGuest UserI've stayed here many times. The hotel is clean and spacious, and the airport shuttle is very convenient with fixed departure times. The breakfast is a bit limited in variety and the taste is just so-so. Most people stay here to catch a flight, so many don't bother with breakfast.

Kkong33Hotel is generally okay. The location is a bit out with 20 minutes of walk from the subway station. The hotel house keeping need to be more diligent. A torn towel was provided and we requested it to be changed however it happened again the following day. The tea bags are not refilled everyday. The breakfast is good. It is value for money.

GGuest UserMy stay here was absolutely fantastic, definitely five stars! From the moment I walked in, the front desk staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and efficient with check-in. Their service throughout was polite and courteous, and any requests I had were promptly met, making me feel really valued. The room was spotless, the bedding was comfortable, and every detail showed great care. The overall service was professional, thoughtful, and genuinely heartwarming – truly deserving of a five-star rating. CCharlesjuranbeizhanyongThis is my Nth stay at this hotel. I've been staying here since 2017 when I applied for my US visa, and for the past few years, it's been my go-to when transferring to high-speed rail after returning to China. First, the pros: the rooms are spacious, it offers great value for money, has a swimming pool, and the rooms even have bathtubs – it's hard to find these amenities in hotels at a similar price point. It's an established star-rated hotel, and it's very close to Beijing Chaoyang High-Speed Railway Station and not far from Capital Airport. You can also get a late check-out until 2 PM (they've improved this significantly; it wasn't great back in 2017). The service is also very good. Now for the cons: being an older hotel, the facilities are relatively dated. In the room I stayed in this time, the bathroom door wouldn't close, but since I was alone, it wasn't a big deal. The next day, when I took a shower, only hot water came out, and I couldn't adjust it to cold. However, I was in a rush to pack and check out, so I just quickly finished my shower without contacting staff – I'm sure they could have resolved it. A 500 deposit is required upon check-in, even if you book through platforms like Trip.com or Fliggy, credit-based waiver isn't an option. Once, I didn't have a domestic card, but they accepted Japanese Yen as a deposit, and I was able to check in smoothly. I saw staff doing a live stream in the lobby; I assume booking through Douyin might be even cheaper.

GGuest UserBooked for five nights, from Feb 13th to 18th. We decided to take our child on a trip before the Chinese New Year. Honestly, I expected a standard room for around 300 RMB during this time to be just 'barely acceptable,' and the hotel lobby was quite small, more like a guesthouse. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I entered the room. It was clean and tidy, and the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet. The only drawback was that the space was a bit small, but the bed wasn't tiny. For a family of four (two adults, two kids), one large bed didn't feel cramped at all. The only real issue in winter was not having enough space to hang clothes. I imagine a deluxe standard room or a family room would be much better. The hotel is conveniently located; exit and turn left, and in about a hundred meters, you'll reach F-exit of Caishikou Subway Station, making lines 4 and 7 easily accessible. It's also not far from Niujie; you can take a bus for just one yuan, which is about two stops away. We actually walked back to the hotel after having dinner in Niujie.

YYuyeyoumingAfter looking at three or four hotels, I decided to stay at the Grand Millennium Beijing for my trip to Beijing, mainly because of its proximity to the subway, making it convenient for getting around. The hotel itself is quite grand, and while the service is very traditional, it gets the job done. I contacted the hotel in advance and asked the front desk to book a room on the highest floor within the same price range, with a view of the CCTV Tower. They managed to arrange all of this, which I was very pleased with. However, the hotel is a bit old-fashioned; if you order takeout, there's no robot or staff to deliver it, so you have to go down and pick it up yourself. The room itself is quite spacious and also has a traditional feel. One quirky thing is the power outlets: one nightstand has an outlet, but the other doesn't. This made it impossible to charge my phone while lying in bed, so I had to go to the supermarket the next day to buy an extension cord. Also, the power outlets are quite old-fashioned, not the new national standard, and many of them are loose. The bathroom has two showerheads, a main one and a side one. I assume the side one is for people sitting down, but one thing they might not have considered is where to put clean clothes for changing. If you put them inside, they'll get wet during the shower. If you put them outside, isn't it a bit awkward to walk out naked? The breakfast buffet at the hotel is quite good, with a wide variety of dishes. The mini hash browns, in particular, taste exactly like the ones sold at McDonald's and KFC. Finally, I want to especially thank the bespectacled housekeeper on the 24th floor. Her service was excellent, she was very polite, and the room was cleaned impeccably. She left a particularly good and warm impression. I didn't take many photos of the hotel, so consider these for reference. Also, the Hema Supermarket is about 600-700 meters west of the hotel, which is convenient for buying things.
