For a trip to Sanlitun, Crystal Orange Hotel is the place to be! The location is unbeatable, perfect for shopping and exhibitions. The rooms are decorated in a premium, minimalist style, with smart curtains and lighting all controlled with one touch. The mattress is soft and helps with sleep, and the soundproofing is excellent. Housekeeping is meticulous, leaving no corner untouched. The laundry and fitness facilities are comprehensive, and the staff are attentive and thoughtful. It offers great value for money. Staying here in Beijing is comfortable and worry-free. Highly recommended!

A decent base for exploring outside Beijing, with a few pros and cons There are two subway stations around Dequan Hotel, but both are more than a 10-minute walk away. Renting a bicycle is highly recommended as it makes commuting much easier. Since the hotel is located in the outer suburbs of Beijing, getting into the city center takes over an hour and requires transferring between 2–3 metro lines. Beijing is huge, and attractions are far apart, usually taking at least an hour to reach. If you stay here, it’s best to plan activities that are outside the main city center. We stayed in a two-story loft room. The layout separates the space into two zones: the bathroom, sink, and a small sofa are downstairs, while the bed is on the upper floor. This means you’ll have to climb down the stairs if you need the bathroom in the middle of the night. The window in our room overlooked nearby rooftops, offering a wide, unobstructed view. On the downside, there was a bad smell coming from the bathroom drain, and the fridge in the pantry didn't work at all, despite us checking both the plug and the switch. The breakfast had a mix of options. The freshly made dishes were mostly vegetables, which was great for health-conscious travelers. There was also a section for steamed and fried convenience foods. However, the bread was dry and tasteless. The salad and dressings were good, and they provided coffee, ice, filtered water, and a microwave. The hotel rents out part of a larger building, and right next door, you'll find restaurants and a supermarket. Don't forget to stop by and check them out!

My recent stay at Kempinski Hotel Beijing Yansha exceeded all my expectations. I simply have to commend the hotel on its incredibly thoughtful and attentive service! There was a minor hiccup during check-in; the front desk didn't ask about my room preference beforehand and assigned me a connecting room. As I'm generally uncomfortable with connecting rooms, I went back down to the front desk to request a change. The staff member was incredibly patient and understanding throughout, handling my request with remarkable efficiency. There was no attempt to pass the buck; instead, they immediately upgraded me to a Superior Business Room free of charge. The new room was spacious and quiet, significantly enhancing my comfort during the stay. This incident truly highlighted the hotel's flexible and warm service, and their problem-solving approach was genuinely reassuring. The hotel's facilities are elegant and grand, with public areas impeccably clean and well-maintained, and amenities are comprehensive. The breakfast buffet is a major highlight, offering an exceptionally wide variety of choices. From Chinese and Western dishes to made-to-order noodle stations, baked goods, fresh fruits, desserts, and drinks – everything was available. Ingredients were fresh, and items were replenished promptly. Every morning's breakfast was incredibly satisfying. Furthermore, the hotel's deli is also worth mentioning. Their baked goods, desserts, and light meals are all high-quality and wonderfully fragrant. It's perfect for grabbing a little treat when you have some downtime, with a rich selection and delicious flavors. Throughout my stay, whether it was the front desk, housekeeping, or dining staff, everyone was courteous and provided meticulous service. Any issues that arose were actively and appropriately resolved. The overall service standard truly lives up to the Kempinski brand. I highly recommend this hotel for both business trips and short getaways. I will definitely choose Kempinski Hotel Beijing Yansha again on my next visit!

The hotel service was excellent! They went above and beyond to help, always responsive and accommodating. My 91-year-old international friend was very happy with their stay here. I'm especially grateful to Ms. Zhao Xiu Ping, a cleaner, who was incredibly warm, meticulous, and patient in taking care of my friend. Thank you, thank you, thank you! The bedding was soft and fluffy, and the mattress offered just the right amount of firmness for a peaceful, undisturbed night's sleep. All the lights and curtains were smartly controlled, the bathroom water pressure was consistent, and the toiletries were of good quality. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, perfect for both work and streaming. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options, including both Chinese and Western pastries, hot porridge, freshly cooked noodles, and fresh fruits. The ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were light. The cleaning staff tidied up daily at set times, and any requests to the front desk were met with a quick response. Overall, it offers excellent value for money, suitable for both leisure travelers and business trips. I've already recommended it to my colleagues and will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to the area.

The bedding was very comfortable, and we were really satisfied with the hotel. While the hotel doesn't offer breakfast, there's a coffee machine in the lobby, and the front desk service was fantastic – they answered all our questions and resolved issues very promptly. Excellent experience overall.

Facilities: I was surprised that the hairdryer at this hostel was from Leifen! The bed was very soft and creak-free, the pillows were comfortable, and the soundproofing was pretty good. There's a lounge area at the front desk where you can order takeout. I especially loved the full-length mirror in the room! Environment: Very clean. The front desk area was bright and clean. The housekeeping staff were very helpful; they would clean for me as soon as I told them, and they were very attentive. Service: The front desk staff were very gentle and patient with my questions. I could contact them at the front desk for any issues with my room.

This is a gorgeous authentic hotel, in a great location with nearby restaurants and subway, but tucked away, with its own peaceful terrace and garden space. It’s very friendly, with a popular cafe on site and some cute cats. It’s great value for money as the rooms are spacious. Great choice that is different and cheaper than the many corporate but somewhat soulless hotel rooms
