The location is excellent, next to the subway and there is a foodcourt nearby. I stayed at a female dorm and it looks like some girls are living there for longer time as the room was a bit messy with all their stuff. The bed and bathroom were clean. Towels are not provided, you need to bring your own or rent but that seems to be the same iin most hostels in China, as the last hostel I stayed in Shanghai was also like that.
What a pleasant surprise! This Orange Crystal hotel in Sanlitun is a hidden gem. The artistic lobby is perfect for snapping some amazing photos, and the subtle fragrance creates a wonderful ambiance. My room had a great view from the floor-to-ceiling windows, and the smart home features were super convenient for a lazy traveler like me. The mattress was so soft I slept like a baby, and the soundproofing completely blocked out all street noise. The toiletries were high quality, and the mini-bar was restocked for free. Check-in at the front desk was quick and efficient. If you're looking to explore Taikoo Li, the location and comfort here are both fantastic. I'd definitely come back again and again!
I really love the Kempinski Hotel! Even though it's not a new hotel, everything about it is solid and meets my expectations. Ms. Maggie at check-in was very polite and generous, which was commendable. The bread rolls at breakfast were just like the Brötchen I had in Germany – a thin, firm, and crispy crust with a soft interior, only missing the **crumbs** on top. Our family lives in Tianjin, and we'll definitely stay at the Kempinski again when we come back to Beijing.
This was by far the best and most value-for-money stay I've had in Beijing. The room was clean, the toilet seat was heated, and there was a mini-fridge (though I didn't need it). It had a window for ventilation, and the surroundings were pleasant. The curtains were fully automated. Just before leaving, I discovered a music player, which I hadn't noticed earlier, so I missed out on using it. The front desk staff were also very nice and helpful. I highly recommend this place if you're a couple visiting Sanlitun. However, if you're going to the Forbidden City by subway, even though Sanlitun isn't far on the map, it takes over an hour by metro. So, if you're short on time and planning to visit the Forbidden City, this might not be the best option.
Stayed at this hotel for a business trip. Overall, it's pretty good, with an average rating of 4.7. The room had a unique scent; after a while, I got used to it, but it was a bit off-putting at first. It's quite close to the Third Ring Road, so it can be a little noisy.
Had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I also received a complimentary room upgrade from a room without a window to one with a window, which made the experience much more enjoyable.
The only downside was that the nearest train station is about a 15-minute walk away. However, there are plenty of food options nearby, which made it convenient for meals and snacks. Overall, it was a comfortable and positive experience.
Palace International Hotel was exceptionally well maintained, with spacious, clean, and comfortable rooms which offered us a pleasant stay. Its location was highly convenient, particularly for travelers catching an early morning high-speed rail service from Chaoyang Railway Station. However, what truly distinguished this hotel was the outstanding hospitality of its staff.
We were deeply impressed by the warmth, professionalism, and attentiveness of the operations team throughout our stay. Special thanks to Miss Gao, who was exceptionally efficient, proactive, and meticulous in arranging the wheelchair assistance we urgently required at Chaoyang Railway Station. Her thoughtful coordination and genuine care provided tremendous reassurance and ensured that what could have been a stressful journey was handled seamlessly and comfortably.
Thank you to Miss Gao and the entire team for making our visit to Beijing such an enjoyable and memorable experience. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to fellow travelers.
During my trip to Beijing, I stayed in many hostels, and the most comfortable one was Zhexingsun. Compared to other hotels, it was cheap, and the comfort level was extremely high. Speaking of the environment, when I first entered, I noticed it was very much like a star-rated hotel – the reception area and even the hallways were incredibly clean. Although it was a shared restroom, it was separate for men and women, and the washing machines were brand new. So, I didn't feel any sense of unease or fear at all.
Now, let's compare it to other hostels. I want to focus on comparing Zhexingsun and Xiaoding. These are two of the most common chain hotels recommended by many in Beijing, and I've stayed in both. While Xiaoding's facilities weren't bad, what angered me most was its soundproofing. A good night's sleep is crucial when staying in a hotel, but I didn't get a single good night's sleep during my stay at this hotel. Every morning, I was woken up by the sound of doors opening and the cleaning staff tidying up. I could also clearly hear the people next door rummaging through their suitcases and snoring; the walls felt like they were made of paper. Traveling alone is already tiring, and the sightseeing was even worse because I didn't sleep well in the morning and couldn't get up, which delayed my itinerary. So I switched back to Zhexingsun. When I first arrived, I stayed in a dormitory, and then I basically kept changing hotels because of price fluctuations. I didn't expect that staying at Xiaoding would be the most uncomfortable, but I ended up staying here again. Zhexingsun is so comfortable! The single and double rooms are the most comfortable, with good soundproofing and design. The bunk beds are also spacious enough. At Xiaoding, there's just one bed and one table, with hardly any space or extra chairs. At Zhexingsun, the bunk beds have enough space underneath for me to sit and play on my phone, and when I get tired, I can go upstairs to sleep. It's so comfortable! Next time I come to Beijing, I'll only stay at their place, but I'll still choose a newer one.
For the price, it's a good choice I guess.
Location on Line 6, which is a commuter line. Just steps from subway station (between coffee shop and dentist), so very convenient in that sense. But it's not near any tourist sights and nothing to see within walking distance. But Lawson's is nearby and a few supermarkets and grocery stalls. If you want to see local life in Beijing, this is the place. Beware that line 6 gets very busy during the morning rush hours.
Room is comfortable, but not very sound proof. Compared to some other hotels that I see on the booking site near the main sights, this is a good compromise between price and convenience
My stay here was absolutely fantastic, exceeding all my expectations. The room was clean and comfortable, well-equipped with everything I needed, and every detail showed great care. The price was very reasonable, and the breakfast was abundant and delicious, truly offering excellent value for money. The hotel's location is superb, with convenient transportation links; both the subway and bus stations are within walking distance, making it incredibly easy to get around for sightseeing or business. Both the service and the facilities made for a very pleasant experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area, and I will definitely choose to stay here again next time!

GGuest UserChoosing Boman Hotel for my stay was definitely the right decision; the overall experience was excellent, and I have to praise it. First, the location is a huge advantage – very close to the embassy, making it super convenient for walking or short trips. This saved a lot of travel time for my appointments.
Check-in was smooth, thanks to a very warm and polite front desk staff member who even upgraded my room for free! The upgraded room had a window, offering great natural light and ventilation, making it bright and airy. The room was spotless, every corner meticulously clean, creating a very reassuring environment.
The amenities were thoughtful, too. The bathroom had a smart toilet, which was convenient and comfortable, showing the hotel's attention to detail. The bed had just the right firmness, and the soundproofing was good, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep.
The breakfast exceeded my expectations. There was a rich variety of dishes, including mains, sides, and drinks. The ingredients were fresh, and the taste was great. A warm breakfast every morning really energizes your day.
From location and service to room environment and dining quality, everything was flawless. The staff were friendly and attentive, the accommodation was comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious and good value. The overall value for money is exceptionally high. My stay was thoroughly pleasant, and the experience was top-notch. If I'm ever in the area again for business, I'll definitely choose Boman Hotel, and I highly recommend it to anyone needing a reliable stay.
TTiffanyWangThe staff were incredibly attentive and thoughtful, and my room was clean and comfortable. The location is super convenient with plenty of food options downstairs, and getting around is easy with good transport links. Plus, my company is within walking distance, making it an excellent choice for business trips!
GGuest UserOur stay was a wonderful surprise! The hotel environment was clean and tidy, and overall it was quiet and comfortable. The staff were incredibly kind and their service was attentive and thorough; any requests we had were promptly addressed. The bedding was soft and comfortable. Although it was a bit noisy in the hallway outside our door in the morning, when we checked out, the lovely lady at the front desk (the one with glasses) gave us two handmade grape soaps 🍇 – absolutely loved them! 💕 My hand-washing frequency is definitely going up now. The attention to detail really shines through, and it offers great value for money. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit. Highly recommend!
AAnonymous UserCleanliness: I personally felt the housekeeping was up to standard.
Environment: The overall vibe was nice, with a cozier, warmer style.
The price was also quite affordable for Beijing. They were very accommodating to unaccompanied minors; we were two 16-year-old students, and they registered us and communicated with our parents while still protecting our privacy.
The staff were also very enthusiastic and helpful. The facilities were comprehensive. The hotel is conveniently located near a subway station and bus stop, and Sanlitun is just a short walk away, making transportation very easy.
The only minor drawback might be that the hotel's WiFi signal wasn't great. Overall, it was a satisfactory stay, and I'd come back again.
GGuest UserHotel rooms were big and clean, big bathroom also. We had contacted the hotel on Wechat previous to our trip to ask could we arrive earlier than check-in time which they said wasn't a problem. However we had to wait over 5 hours for a room to be offered to us. We were travelling with young children which made it trickier and we were exhausted. I think the main issue was with the language barrier which we used translation apps to overcome but in hindsight we should've booked the previous night in order to get a room early. Their check-in time is marked as 8am but they told us there is was closer to 3pm. Other than that, the staff were lovely and the hotel is clean. Breakfast wasn't great; the restaurant was under renovation and breakfast packs were available but there were no options for food and what we were offered was a low quality chinese breakfast. Overall though it is a lovely hotel and once their canteen is back open, it would make a stay there more enjoyable. It is in a lovely area also and there is a fantastic grocery store nearby.
GGuest UserMy stay here was absolutely fantastic, and I have to give a huge shout-out to the front desk staff! From the moment I arrived, they were incredibly welcoming. Check-in was a breeze, and they gave me a thorough rundown of all the hotel's amenities. They mentioned the electric curtains in the room that glided open like a stage curtain, instantly revealing the stunning view outside. The gym was another highlight – all the equipment was brand new and there was a great variety, perfect for a good workout. And let's not forget the smart toilet, which was both thoughtful and comfortable. Throughout my stay, whenever I had a question about the facilities, the front desk team was patient, helpful, and resolved everything quickly. Their familiarity with the hotel's amenities and their thoughtful service made me feel completely at home!
GGuest UserHotel location is very good to find, according to the navigation roadside, there are many restaurants around, very convenient. You can also order takeaway. The computer configuration is quite high, playing large games is not stuck, the room has no smell of smoke, you can see that the cleaning is very clean. Provide disposable ear masks, as well as disposable paper cups, very good. Black preferred with friends. Will come again.
GGuest UserI needed a place to stay near Sanyuanqiao for one night on short notice, and this hotel is undoubtedly the best value for money in the area. The facilities are comprehensive, and the environment is quite clean. Although it's a bit old, it's clear they haven't neglected maintenance, and everything is generally in good working order, at least in the room I stayed in.
The hotel is just a few hundred meters from Sanyuanqiao Exit G. Since one side of the building is close to several restaurants, if you prefer a quieter room, be sure to ask the front desk to arrange a room on the opposite side. I really appreciate the front desk's kind heads-up and for changing my room.
GGuest UserThe environment is truly lovely. On May 2nd, there were various cultural activities organized by Beijing's Bureau of Culture and Tourism at Junwangfu, which made the courtyard exceptionally charming and atmospheric. The accommodation itself is quite average, about a 3-star standard; the main experience here is really about the grand Wangfu compound itself. Chaoyang Park next door is highly recommended if you're with kids; the adventurer experience there is fantastic, with different levels for junior, intermediate, and advanced ages. Superb!
GGuest UserHaiyou Hotel (Jintailu Branch) is a great value-for-money option in the Guomao business district. I originally booked a standard room, but the front desk proactively upgraded my room type, which was a pleasant surprise. The bedding and facilities are up to Haiyou's usual standards – not luxurious, but perfectly functional. The location is genuinely convenient. It met my expectations and is definitely recommended.
