Hotels in Xidan and Financial Street Area, Beijing

I will like to say that our 8nights stay at le joy hotel has been nothing short of excellent! Xuan Xuan from guest relations has been awesome from day 1 and she has been handling all our requests promptly and answered everything to our satisfaction. Special mention to the housekeeping lady 张恒娟, her service has been superb and goes beyond her call of duty to help with the folding of clothes prompty from the dryer to prevent creases. This was done with her own initiative. You have a very good staff here Le Joy! The counter staff 小梨 was also very friendly and helped us greatly when approached. Air conditioning was strong and cooling. Rooms were make up daily and comfortable for my family after a day’s tour in beijing. LocAtion wise was fantastic as it was near line 1 & 4 of metro, around 300m from hotel. There are many many restaurants nearby at malls that you have to try, from peking duck (shiji minfu) to mushroom hotpot… it was awesome! There is also a supermarket 盒马 nearby where you can get like fruits, snacks & drinks etc although nearby the mall have 7-eleven. If you are taking didi (taxi), do pin from the west side of the mall so that it is easier to get on and off. The only downside is that the elevators are going on renovation so only 2/4 are working. It might be a little slow during peak hours but in general was ok. Bathrooms were a little open concept if you are looking at a little more privacy esp with kids. In short, we had an enjoyable time in Beijing and would definately recommend Le Joy to our friends and family. 5/5 for everything in service and hospitality 👍🏻

Even though there's a window, it faces the hallway and lets in very little natural light, which can be quite uncomfortable for anyone who prefers a bright room.

Our family came for a trip and saw online that the hotel's location was great, and it truly lived up to its reputation. It's very close to Niujie, where we tried many snacks, especially the test lamb skewers which were excellent. The hotel was quite busy during the holiday, and the kids loved the pool. Alina at the front desk gave us some treats, which made them very happy.

The environment is great. Walking into the hotel, I immediately felt comfortable. It's very suitable for business travelers. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic! I recommend this hotel. Upon arrival, they sent a lovely fruit platter to our room and even upgraded us to a room on the same floor for free. The only minor issue is that food delivery couriers aren't allowed upstairs. My suggestion for improvement would be to get a robot for food deliveries. The room's interior design style is a bit old-fashioned, with an older chandelier design, so all the lights in the room are warm-toned and not very bright, but it's not a big deal. The bathroom design is a bit interesting, with mirrors everywhere, but it did have a slight musty smell, which didn't affect using the facilities. This hotel has always been highly rated in Beijing, and I chose it after careful screening – it's reliable! It's very close to Tiananmen, the Forbidden City, Chang'an Avenue, and Wangfujing, and the subway access is excellent. The area around the hotel is a commercial street, perfect for shopping – no complaints there, as other reviews also confirm. I'm just here to validate, and it really is very good. The price is mid-to-high range, but for this location, it's quite a bargain, especially since Beijing is such a prime location. I'll include photos below to show the reality.

I'm a traveler from Xinjiang. After a long flight to Beijing, I was looking forward to checking into the hotel for a good rest, as I needed to go to the Children's Hospital near the hotel the next day. However, during check-in, I realized my child's birth certificate was missing – I suspected I'd left it in the taxi. I instantly panicked. The hotel staff, Xin Yi, immediately noticed my distress. She quickly came over to calm me down and promptly helped me retrieve information and contact Didi customer service. The communication process was quite difficult, but she patiently and repeatedly verified details like the time of the ride, location, and car appearance. She continuously followed up, and finally managed to contact the driver, who confirmed the birth certificate was in the car and would be returned. While I was waiting, she kept gently reassuring me and offered me hot tea. I was incredibly touched when I got my child's certificate back. During my stay, Xin Yi thoughtfully prepared directions to Beijing Children's Hospital and recommended local specialty snacks. The laundry room attendant also proactively helped me dry my clothes, folded them neatly, and delivered them back to my room. There were many other thoughtful small touches. When I checked out, Xin Yi even gave me a Tiananmen Square magnet as a souvenir. Atour S Beijing, for me, is more than just a place to stay; it's a tangible feeling of warmth and reassurance in an unfamiliar city. Thank you, Xin Yi, and thank you to all the hotel staff.

The closest hotel I found is the suitable hotel in the second ring road. The price is not expensive, you can park 6 cars in the hotel yard, or it is really bad to park around. There is a supermarket diagonally opposite the hotel, the items are complete, it is very convenient to buy vegetables, fruit, eat, etc., and the price is affordable. The room has a 1.5-meter bed and a 1.2-meter bed, which is very suitable for children. There is also a big table, enough to put things to write. The bathroom is big enough, the sprinkler is also very large, the sewer can be drained smoothly, and the water temperature is guaranteed. A little shortcoming is that the toilet is a bit leaky, and it needs to be repaired, otherwise water will be wasted. The sliding door of the bathroom cannot be closed tightly, and the glass separated from the bedroom is a bit too transparent. The cleaning aunt cleaned the room very neatly every day, and the front desk service was very good. For breakfast, it is a Chinese breakfast, Hanamaki steamed buns porridge fried rice fried noodles eggs, no problem to eat. It is recommended. However, it is far from the subway station and the bus station is still relatively close. This needs to be paid attention to.

This is a very mature and well-run hotel. What I experienced wasn't just warmth, but rather well-organized and professional service. The rooms are incredibly spacious; I booked a family room and even with an extra bed, it still felt very roomy for the guests. Any requests were handled quickly. When we entered the lobby, the supervisor immediately recognized us. Even though the front desk was busy, the supervisor promptly arranged for staff to assist us. The same goes for breakfast in the restaurant; the staff were incredibly efficient. Despite a large number of diners, they managed to find suitable seating for everyone, and tables were cleared very quickly. Many foreign guests stay here, and even the younger staff were able to communicate effectively, earning praise from guests – I witnessed one guest specifically shaking hands with a staff member after breakfast to thank them. The swimming pool water was also very clean, with daily test results posted. Even those not swimming were asked to wear shoe covers, showing great attention to detail. The two complimentary drinks in the lobby were also delicious. Breakfast was abundant and tasty. It's very close to Metro Lines 2 and 4. The nearby mall, and the 'Fang Zhuan Chang Zhajiangmian' (a famous noodle place) usually has a long queue at Guozijian, but here there's no waiting. Also, Sanyuan Meiyuan and Wuyutai's ice cream are available without queues, which truly adds value to the trip. I am extremely satisfied with this hotel!

The hotel was exceptionally clean and hygienic, and the breakfast was great. I especially want to thank the front desk attendant, a handsome guy with curly hair. I was on a business trip for a conference and realized I'd forgotten my white shirt. I was in a panic, so I asked the front desk attendant if I could borrow one. He said the hotel didn't have any, but then he ordered a new white shirt for me via express delivery, which solved a huge problem. Afterwards, when I tried to pay him, the young man refused to take any money, even cash! ☺️ Honestly, I have to give this hotel a great review. The service was thoughtful and attentive, and I'm truly grateful to the handsome guy at the front desk. I'll definitely be back! 😊😊

Staying at the Xuanwumen Business Hotel with my kids was a really pleasant experience overall. The room was clean and spacious, with all the necessary facilities. It was dry and tidy, not damp at all, which made for a very comfortable stay. The front desk staff were patient and meticulous, and check-in was efficient. The location is super convenient for getting around and sightseeing. The hotel breakfast had a great variety, perfect for kids' tastes, and the service was thoughtful and attentive. It's a truly reassuring place to stay when traveling with family. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for our next family trip.

The hotel's location is great, and the navigation was spot on, making it easy to find. The room was clean and tidy, but quite small, which I guess is due to the high land prices in Beijing, haha!
