Five-star review! This stay was particularly heartwarming, and I especially want to commend Beibei at the front desk. Beibei checked us in on our first night in Beijing. She was warm and welcoming, and spoke so gently. Seeing that we had a child with us, she thoughtfully gave us a small electric fan, which was incredibly considerate given the hot Beijing weather. During our stay, she even proactively contacted us via WeChat, letting us know we could reach out to her anytime if we needed anything. On our departure day, we were delayed at the Summer Palace, and Beibei went above and beyond to help us get a late check-out, solving a real problem for us. Meeting such a kind and attentive staff member during our trip truly warmed our hearts. Beijing is a city worth visiting again and again, and next time we're here, we'll definitely choose Joy City Hotel again, and I hope we get to see Beibei! Highly recommended!

This hotel is a 4-minute walk from Xisi Subway Station, making it super convenient to get to the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, and Houhai, and also easy to explore Xidan shopping district. Tucked away in a *hutong* (alleyway), it offers a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle, exuding old Beijing charm. The rooms are clean, tidy, and odor-free, with a fresh air system and smart controls for ultimate convenience. The German Lonsdale mattress provides a fantastic sleep experience, and the memory foam pillows are a huge plus. The front desk staff are warm and attentive, and the robot delivery service is very handy. Overall, the experience was excellent. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Beijing!

The front desk lady had an excellent service attitude; she even showed us to our room after check-in. The room was nice, bright, clean, and quiet. The hotel is super convenient, just tens of meters from the Beijing West Railway Station entrance and the subway station. There are also several restaurants nearby. It's perfect for both sightseeing and catching a train.

The room was very clean, and the service was attentive. Public transport is super convenient, with both subway and bus stops just a three or four-minute walk away. The location is excellent, not far from Qianmen, Tiananmen Square, the National Centre for the Performing Arts, and Xidan. It's definitely a place worth considering for your stay.

Overall, a great experience. I really wanted to stay in a *siheyuan* (quadrangle courtyard house), but many were either too expensive or the cheaper ones looked a bit shabby. This place hit the sweet spot in terms of price and quality. When I booked, I checked the map and thought it was far from the subway, but it's actually only a 2-minute walk to Xisi subway station. Getting to places like Yuanmingyuan and the train station was super convenient as they're direct subway lines. The *siheyuan* itself is small, but it's perfect for experiencing the traditional style. The breakfast spread was also modest, but it had all the essentials. The mattress firmness was just right. I'm not used to thick duvets, and the owner even provided a summer quilt. It wasn't until our second day that we discovered Zhengyang Bookstore nearby, which has a famous cat. We even went to pet the cat and take some photos! All in all, a really good stay!

The hotel's location is excellent, right across from the North Square of West Station in the Zhongyu Building. After exiting the station, remember to walk about 50 meters forward to the overpass. The hotel rooms are clean and tidy. The lounge area offers complimentary tea, internet-enabled computers, and free luggage lockers. There are also plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. I'll definitely stay here again next time.

Breakfast was plentiful, offering both local specialties and Western pastries. Whether it was the location, facilities, or service, everything was impeccable. The next time I visit this city, this will definitely remain my first choice, and I'll be recommending it to my friends.

My family and I stayed at Xixi Youyi Hotel for 12 nights, and it exceeded our expectations. After reading the positive reviews on Trip.com, we decided to book, and we're so glad we did. The location is fantastic, with several large shopping malls just steps from the hotel. There's also a smaller shopping complex directly next door, connected by lifts, which has a great selection of restaurants and a supermarket in the basement. I highly recommend the Peking duck restaurant on the 7th floor—it served the best Peking duck we had during our three-week trip around China! Although the rooms felt a bit outdated, they were spacious and clean, which made our stay very comfortable. The nearest subway station is only a three-minute walk away, making it incredibly easy to explore the city. The hotel staff were warm, friendly, and always happy to help with any questions or requests. Their excellent service made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. The hotel also has a good-sized gym that guests can use free of charge. We enjoyed the hotel's buffet dinner one evening, and it was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious dishes to choose from. My husband especially appreciated the free-flowing beer! For longer stays, the hotel provides washing machines on each floor for a small fee, which was very convenient. The only suggestion I would make is to add dryers, as air-drying clothes can take some time. It would also be a great addition if the hotel introduced robot delivery service for takeaway orders and guest amenities, as this would make an already excellent stay even more convenient. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. I highly recommend Xixi Youyi Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located hotel with excellent facilities and outstanding service.

The room layout is well-designed and cozy, and the staff are incredibly nice. The hotel is super convenient for getting to Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the National Museum by subway; it's only about a three-minute walk to the nearest station. This is my third time in Beijing, and I just realized that the subway is by far the easiest way to reach Tiananmen Square and the National Museum. Don't be fooled into thinking Didi (ride-hailing) is convenient for these spots! Taking a Didi to the National Museum or Tiananmen Square is a terrible idea. Drivers can't drop you off directly at these attractions and will leave you a mile or two away. I ended up walking with my kid for 20 minutes in the scorching heat, sweating buckets, just trying to navigate there. Meanwhile, there's a subway station right next to the National Museum... it's incredibly convenient!
