Hotels in Xidan and Financial Street Area, Beijing

This is my nth stay here, and this hotel truly keeps surprising me! This time, they upgraded me to a suite, which was fantastic! The location is superb, right next to Beijing West Railway Station, making travel incredibly convenient. The room was spacious and bright, and parking was easy. The front desk staff were warm and professional, and check-in was quick and efficient. The facilities are also quite comprehensive; the heated pool and gym are both free to use. There are also free late-night snacks and a 24-hour self-service laundry room – they even deliver your dried clothes back to your room. Breakfast offers a wide variety of choices, with new options daily. I'll definitely be back! A big thank you to the front desk lady.

Review from a non-chinese tourist. Pros: location, low to almost none level of noise, cleanliness. Cons: no one can assist you in english, breakfast (if you’re not chinese or adapted to local food). It’s right next to Beijing West Railway station, so multiple malls, shops, cafes etc available. When I was checking in I was given key to a wrong room - someone else was already staying there. I understand mistakes happen but after 20 hrs of travel it’s hard. The biggest dissapointment was the breakfast: it said that it’s buffet with chinese and western food. In reality almost no food that you would normally eat for breakfast, lots of chinese food (I wouldn’t have problem with it if it wasn’t so greasy - it’s just not the best for starting your day). Overall - good for the price and location.

This is an excellent hotel with a great room type, perfect for families or larger groups. It features two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and three beds, all connected by a private balcony corridor. This connecting area includes a sofa, a desk, and a lamp. There's an air purifier conveniently located near the entrance of the larger bathroom. The windows in two spots can be cranked open for ventilation. My room in Building A faced south, so it received sunlight all day. The location is very convenient, with shared bikes available downstairs and a mall and subway station just a 3-5 minute walk away. Both the hotel staff and cleaning ladies were very enthusiastic. It would be even better if breakfast could be made available earlier during the middle and high school entrance exam periods.

The hotel's service was excellent. The front desk staff were very polite, and the auntie serving breakfast was incredibly warm and proactive. The room was spacious and comfortable. It's conveniently located just a few hundred meters from both Xidan and Lingjing Hutong subway stations. Plus, there's a Ziguan Garden yogurt shop right across from the hotel, which is super convenient for grabbing a snack. Highly recommend!

Traveling with a child and also here for a concert, the hotel's location is super convenient. You can just take the subway directly, and it's close to all the attractions. We visited Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, which gave us a taste of the capital's atmosphere. Elena at the front desk gave my child a hawthorn bear gift, which made them very happy. We also stored our luggage after checking out.

Check-in and check-out were quick and efficient, with a clear and smooth process. They proactively informed us about the hotel facilities and patiently answered all our questions without any hint of impatience. The service was detailed and professional, and they were genuinely welcoming. The front desk area was clean and tidy, and their thoughtful service made for a very pleasant stay.

The front desk lady had an excellent service attitude; she even showed us to our room after check-in. The room was nice, bright, clean, and quiet. The hotel is super convenient, just tens of meters from the Beijing West Railway Station entrance and the subway station. There are also several restaurants nearby. It's perfect for both sightseeing and catching a train.

My family and I stayed at Xixi Youyi Hotel for 12 nights, and it exceeded our expectations. After reading the positive reviews on Trip.com, we decided to book, and we're so glad we did. The location is fantastic, with several large shopping malls just steps from the hotel. There's also a smaller shopping complex directly next door, connected by lifts, which has a great selection of restaurants and a supermarket in the basement. I highly recommend the Peking duck restaurant on the 7th floor—it served the best Peking duck we had during our three-week trip around China! Although the rooms felt a bit outdated, they were spacious and clean, which made our stay very comfortable. The nearest subway station is only a three-minute walk away, making it incredibly easy to explore the city. The hotel staff were warm, friendly, and always happy to help with any questions or requests. Their excellent service made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. The hotel also has a good-sized gym that guests can use free of charge. We enjoyed the hotel's buffet dinner one evening, and it was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious dishes to choose from. My husband especially appreciated the free-flowing beer! For longer stays, the hotel provides washing machines on each floor for a small fee, which was very convenient. The only suggestion I would make is to add dryers, as air-drying clothes can take some time. It would also be a great addition if the hotel introduced robot delivery service for takeaway orders and guest amenities, as this would make an already excellent stay even more convenient. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. I highly recommend Xixi Youyi Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located hotel with excellent facilities and outstanding service.

Our stay was incredibly satisfying, largely thanks to the hotel's comprehensive facilities. The laundry room was a lifesaver for families with kids. The washers and dryers were new and easy to operate. We could just pop our kids' dirty clothes in at night, take a short walk, and come back to them dry – it really eased the laundry anxiety of traveling with little ones. The kids' play area, while not huge, was exceptionally clean. The ball pit and slide were well-maintained, and our child loved it so much we had trouble getting them to leave! The soft padding on the floors and corners made us feel very secure. The 24-hour gym had enough equipment for a good workout, so I didn't miss out on my fitness routine during my business trip. We used a meeting room once on short notice, and the projector and sound system worked great, really highlighting the convenience for business travelers. Finally, I have to mention the restaurant. Breakfast was incredibly rich, offering both local specialties and Western options. The ingredients were fresh, and they replenished dishes promptly. The window seats were a particular delight, with sunlight streaming in – starting the day with a coffee there was simply lovely. Overall, whether for a business trip or a family vacation, this hotel is thoughtfully equipped. We'll definitely choose it again next time.

They said they upgraded my room, which was a pleasant surprise. Facilities: I saw it was renovated in 2019, and it's pretty good. The only thing that looked old was the bathroom doorknob; everything else just had a classic feel, not old or worn out, and was very well maintained. Cleanliness: Absolutely exceptional! Extremely clean, you can tell they put a lot of effort into cleaning every corner. Environment: Soundproofing is just okay. If you're sensitive to noise, it's best to bring earplugs. My upgraded room was next to the elevator, so I could hear it going up and down. However, I was on a tight 'special forces' schedule and was so exhausted that I just crashed and slept through it all, so it didn't bother me much. Service: Very enthusiastic and welcoming. This will definitely be my top choice hotel for future concerts in Beijing!
