I booked this hotel for a business trip. The facilities are complete, it's quiet for sleeping, and the soundproofing is good. It's clean and hygienic, and the service was perfect. The lovely lady at the front desk even upgraded my room! The transportation outside is convenient, with a bus stop less than 50 meters away, making it easy to get anywhere. It's also easy to find places to eat just across the pedestrian bridge. I'll definitely come back if I have the chance.

After a six-year hiatus, I'm back in Beijing! The last courtyard hotel I stayed at closed due to the pandemic, so I spent a lot of time searching and finally chose Manxin Hotel Qianmen. It pretty much met all my expectations for a courtyard hotel. The staff (both guys and girls) were incredibly friendly and the location was fantastic. The hotel also offers a travel photography experience, but our itinerary was so packed we didn't get a chance to try it. They even gave us a little gift box when we checked out! 👍 P.S. Just a small suggestion: there are a few too few power outlets in the room. Also, if you're a light sleeper, I'd recommend staying on the second floor due to the wooden structure.

Stayed here for a week, very caring and polite staff. Although they claim to speak English - they don't, had to use an app. Breakfast was well served. Only once forgot to give us new towels. You can easily get to a sub station nearby as well as a few landmarks on foot. Got a few decent restaurants next door. You can also order delivery to the hotel (not only food, taobao for example). Definitely would consider staying here again. Thank you!

Apart from the renovation which we were told beforehand, the room we had was dark (probably because it was a windowless room), humid, aircon wasn’t strong but they provided a fan. Could smell urine even with the toilet seat covered, toilet door was closed, to a point that i was awaken by the foul smell. Had to spray perfume to have it barely covered. Ventilation was super bad. Cons aside, service was good, fridge in room had free drinks. Would recommend to book a window room if you had to even though friend that stayed in the window room said it was bad too. There’s a mall few minutes walk away which was a plus. Good view on the reception floor too.

This is a mid-to-high-end business hotel, and the attention to detail in the photos shows how much thought they put into making guests feel welcome in Beijing: 1. The moment you walk in, it feels incredibly comfortable and clean. The front desk staff are warm and helpful. The hotel's design is unique, with a perforated grid backdrop and a large abstract floral art piece in the center, all illuminated by warm accent lighting that creates a soft, upscale ambiance. What really caught my eye was the floor-to-ceiling window on the right with sheer white curtains, allowing plenty of natural light in and creating a very pleasant atmosphere. 2. In the lobby's lounge area, there's a wall with clear directions and transport routes to Beijing's tourist attractions like the Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Nanluoguxiang, and Yonghe Temple. This is incredibly practical for visitors to Beijing. The faux fireplace and abstract decorative paintings nearby add to the cozy vibe of the lounge. During my stay, it was also the time of the Gaokao (national college entrance exam), and the lobby had a 'May you succeed in the Gaokao' wishing wall. It was adorned with red blessing plaques shaped like traditional scholar hats, full of well wishes for the students. This really showcased the hotel's thoughtful human touch. The room amenities are excellent. There's a separate laundry room, and the laundry bags are a thoughtful touch for every guest. The dry/wet separated bathroom is very convenient, and the room's soundproofing is superb, ensuring a great night's sleep. Because I had an early appointment the next day, I contacted the hotel staff in advance to request a quieter room. They were incredibly helpful and assigned me a room further inside. Thumbs up! They truly prioritize guest needs.

First off, the staff were really welcoming and helpful. The room itself was pretty quiet, which was nice. It had a fridge and a washing machine, but oddly, nowhere to hang clothes. It's not far from the metro station, about a 7-8 minute walk. The bathroom cabinet was a bit worn, though. There were no proper toothbrush cups, just disposable ones, and the towels were also disposable.

Stepping out of the hotel's main entrance, you're immediately immersed in the vibrant atmosphere of Qianmen Street. The bluestone paths echo with centuries of old Beijing charm, while traditional shops along the street fill the air with the aroma of roasted chestnuts and braised beef. Red candied hawthorn skewers hang under the eaves, casting a warm glow. There's no need to go out of your way; you're instantly in the heart of authentic old city life. The walk to the subway station is just as pleasant and effortless, a leisurely stroll of mere minutes, and you're on a rail line that connects you to the entire city. Whether you're heading to Chang'an Avenue to catch the sunrise or venturing to Sanlitun for a taste of urban trends, you can skip the worries of traffic jams and waiting for buses. From the moment you step into the hotel lobby, the front desk staff greets you with a warm smile, meticulously helps you plan unique local itineraries, and points out the intangible cultural heritage shops hidden within Qianmen Street. This thoughtful care imbues your entire trip with warmth from the very first second of your arrival.

This hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, very close to the Forbidden City, putting it right in the heart of Beijing. It's not far from anywhere (even Universal Studios is less than a 40-minute taxi ride away), which is incredibly convenient! I have to commend the staff; their service is exceptional and they are all so nice. The hotel itself is very quiet and elegant. You can even rent bikes right outside to experience the old Beijing hutong culture. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Beijing.

This hotel boasts an excellent location, just about a ten-minute walk from Tian Tan Dong Metro Station and the East Gate of the Temple of Heaven Park. There are plenty of Peking duck, hot pot, and snack options nearby. It's also super convenient to get to many attractions along the central axis by taxi. The hotel service is great, and the duplex rooms are perfect for families. Highly recommend!

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to major attractions like Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. There's a shopping mall within walking distance, making dining very convenient, and both the subway and bus stations are nearby. The hotel service is great; bellhops are available to assist guests with getting in and out of vehicles, and the front desk staff are polite and welcoming. The hotel facilities are complete, comfortable, and clean. The deluxe suites are first-rate, featuring a separate walk-in closet and a living room, making them perfect for business接待. I will definitely stay here again.

A hidden gem of a hotel tucked away in the old hutongs near Qianmen! The ground floor's lush courtyard is absolutely charming, offering a peaceful escape from the bustling city. The room was clean and odor-free, with soft, comfortable bedding. The separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom were a thoughtful touch. I loved the welcome fruit and card, and the artwork in the hallway was also delightful. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and helpful, always ready to assist. It was so convenient to stroll around Dashilar and Xianyukou from here. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Beijing!

The hotel is in alley perpendicular to branch of the Dashilan main street (branch of another branch street).the taxi I took from Beijing South rail station dropped me at the street where it is not the most direct way to walk in (the driver pretended to miss the turn). If you are taking taxi drop the pin and meishijiekou emailing point. Hotel itself is small. No lift. Room is just slightly bigger than the typical Tokyo style. But very nice for a solo traveller. Mind you I took the deluxe room with window facing outside. Comes with snack, apple and very helpful service desk. Room is high tech. Location is good, walk out to have food. No typical local breakfast shop nearby though. For this reason, I will choose to stay at Dongsi which is more vibrant with locals and less touting. Overall, it is a good place to stay if it is a very quick short turnaround in Beijing.

Right outside the hotel, you'll find the charming Yangmeizhu Xiejie alley, perfect for a stroll. A short two-stop subway ride from the end of the alley (turn left) gets you to Beijing Railway Station. It's also very close to Tiananmen Square and the National Museum of China; bus route 2 takes you directly to the museum. The Peking duck at the restaurant at the front of the alley is excellent and great value for money. The hotel's cleanliness and service were both excellent, definitely five stars!

Clean and tidy! It's a five-minute walk to the square! It's cheap and great value for money. My friends all loved it and I've already recommended it to others. It's in Dashilar Qianmen, only a 6-minute walk from the subway station, making it very convenient for getting around.

The room wasn't huge but it was clean, and the bathroom was spotless. There was a window to the outside, so it aired out during the day and there were no weird smells. The cleaning staff was very friendly; even when I told her not to clean because I was resting during the day, she still proactively asked if I needed any amenities. For the price, it was really good value for money. We stayed in the back building, which didn't have an elevator, but thankfully it wasn't a high floor, so carrying luggage wasn't too much trouble. It was pretty quiet at night with no noisy neighbors. The only downside is that although Qianmen Street is right nearby, you have to walk quite a detour to get there. It added a lot of extra steps to our 'special forces' style of travel! If you could just cross the road directly, this location would be perfect!

The room was a bit on the small side. My biggest complaints were the laundry room and the hot water. The washing machine in the laundry room seemed like it hadn't been cleaned, and you had to buy your own detergent. For hot water, you had to insert your room card and wait a long time for it to reach 60-70 degrees. Then, it would get cold before I could even really wash anything. The water temperature was also hard to control. I'm not sure if this is typical for hotels in the area, but I've always had a high opinion of Home Inn, and this time, I was just really disappointed with the cleanliness.

The hotel is 10 out of 10. The staff is very friendly, very welcoming. You really feel it, and on top of that everyone in the neighborhood supports Palestine. It’s impressive how much Chinese people support Palestine, and it makes you feel proud. The energy in the neighborhood is very beautiful. It’s a proper Chinese neighborhood, but when you start talking with Chinese people about what’s happening, everyone supports Palestine, and in the hotel as well. That’s something I can truly highlight for a review.

Better than expected, a pleasant stay overall. The front desk staff, especially a young lady, was very enthusiastic and helpful. The location is great, with convenient transportation. The room was comfortable and clean. They were always willing to assist with anything. It's also quite close to the hospital. Plus, there's a mini-fridge and water dispenser at the front desk.

Located 700 meters from Zhushikou subway station, it's very close to Dashilar and Qianmen. The room was small but clean, not greasy at all, though the soundproofing wasn't great – but that's typical for hotels in this area. We stayed for 4 nights with our child, and for the price, it offered excellent value for money.

The location is excellent, very close to the Forbidden City, Dashilar, and Tiananmen Square, with plenty of attractions nearby. The air conditioning kept the room wonderfully cool. The shower had great water pressure. For added security, the room door featured a chain lock in addition to the main lock. There's also a shop conveniently located right across from the room.
