Perfect for family trips! The location is superb, making it easy and stress-free to travel with kids. Bringing our child to Beijing this time, choosing this hotel was such a smart decision. The location is definitely the biggest highlight – it's just a ten-minute walk to the subway station, and from there, it's only a few stops to Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the Temple of Heaven. It’s so convenient to switch lines. Traveling with a child was completely hassle-free. Plus, there are restaurants and convenience stores nearby! We booked a king room, and there was plenty of space. The hotel thoughtfully prepared children's slippers and toothbrushes, which was a lovely touch. Even though it's in a bustling area, the room's soundproofing was excellent, making it very quiet at night, and our whole family slept really well. We'll definitely consider staying here again on our next trip to Beijing!

I stayed at a Siheyuan (courtyard house) near Qianmen with my child and father, and it truly felt like quintessential Beijing! First off, the location is incredibly convenient. It's nestled in a hutong on Qianmen East Street, offering a quiet escape amidst the bustling city. A short walk around the corner takes you to Qianmen Pedestrian Street, and Dashilar is easily reachable on foot. Taking a taxi to Tiananmen or the Forbidden City costs just the minimum fare, which is a huge relief when traveling with elderly parents and children – no hassle at all. Secondly, the courtyard itself is absolutely charming. Stepping through the gate, you're greeted by a classic Old Beijing Siheyuan, with its grey bricks, dark tiles, and covered walkways, all centered around a large tree. In the morning, with the sun streaming into the courtyard, enjoying a bowl of congee feels incredibly leisurely. The room, though not large, is exquisitely designed, with comfortable bedding and a bathroom featuring a separate shower and toilet, complete with a smart toilet. Thirdly, the service was wonderfully attentive. The young lady at the front desk, seeing we had elderly parents and a child, proactively helped us with our luggage. Breakfast was abundant, and they even gave us a small gift when we checked out – excellent! Overall, if you want to experience an Old Beijing Siheyuan without compromising on comfort, this place is truly ideal. It's especially perfect for families traveling with parents and children, offering both charm and convenience.

This is one of the best-value hotels right in the center of Beijing. The Hotel is located in the city center, but in a surprisingly quiet neighborhood — perfect if you want convenience without the chaos. Very affordable prices. Spacious, clean, and well-maintained rooms. But the real highlight is the lobby… It feels more like a library café than a hotel. In the evening, you can sit there in total calm, read a book, work on your laptop, and enjoy delicious coffee… made and served by a robot. And yes — if you order delivery, another robot brings it straight to your room door. The area is also great — surrounded by restaurants, shops, and fruit markets, everything you need within walking distance. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, budget-friendly stay with a unique touch — this is a great find.

Apart from the renovation which we were told beforehand, the room we had was dark (probably because it was a windowless room), humid, aircon wasn’t strong but they provided a fan. Could smell urine even with the toilet seat covered, toilet door was closed, to a point that i was awaken by the foul smell. Had to spray perfume to have it barely covered. Ventilation was super bad. Cons aside, service was good, fridge in room had free drinks. Would recommend to book a window room if you had to even though friend that stayed in the window room said it was bad too. There’s a mall few minutes walk away which was a plus. Good view on the reception floor too.

The hotel is right by the South Third Ring Road. The room was clean, and the mattress was comfortable. The two double beds were spacious enough for four girls, and there was also a desk and a small dining table. The front desk staff were wonderful, making us feel right at home! Plus, there's free parking. Just a small suggestion: it would be more practical if the toilet and shower had separate doors so they don't interfere with each other, and a mini-fridge would make it perfect!

This hotel truly exceeded my expectations! Both the lobby and the outdoor courtyard are outstanding. It features a charming outdoor courtyard with a great atmosphere, complete with a brick wall perfect for photos that truly captures Beijing's character: a prominent 'Beijing' sign, traditional sand swallow kite decorations, and a fun 'Princess, get rich!' banner. It's a fantastic spot for pictures. The courtyard also has casual tables and chairs, perfect for resting after a long day of sightseeing. The greenery adds a touch of life, and there are photo opportunities everywhere. It's an ideal spot for anyone visiting Beijing and looking for great photo ops.

The Yard Hotel in Beijing boasts a fantastic location positioned right between two major metro stations. A notable downside, however, is that surrounding security is incredibly tight due to its proximity to Tiananmen Square. You must carry your passport constantly just to move in and out of the restricted tourist streets where the hotel is situated.Looking at the interior, while the building itself is quite old, it is beautifully decorated with authentic Chinese art pieces. On the negative side, the rooms are completely windowless, and the thin walls offer very little soundproofing against noisy neighbors. The hotel does provide free cultural activities which are inherently interesting, but unfortunately, the facilitator lacked professionalism during the session. It remains a charming choice for culture enthusiasts, provided you do not mind strict neighborhood checkpoints.

Facilities: The facilities are complete, and breakfast is abundant. Cleanliness: The housekeepers cleaned on time, and it was very clean, especially the spacious and tidy bathroom. I'm very satisfied. Environment: The location is excellent. Although the hotel entrance is ordinary, once you step inside, it's a completely different world, with beautiful scenery at every turn. Our family room was in a small quadrangle courtyard, which had a very Beijing feel. Service: The service was exceptionally good, especially friendly for families traveling with children. Five-star recommendation!

The environment was peaceful, though my next-door neighbors were a bit noisy early in the mornings, but the staff promptly helped mediate. The room was clean and tidy, with daily housekeeping and linen changes. The service was thoughtful and warm, I was very satisfied! I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Beijing!

There's a shopping mall within walking distance, making dining very convenient, and both the subway and bus stations are nearby. The hotel service is great; bellhops are available to assist guests with getting in and out of vehicles, and the front desk staff are polite and welcoming. The hotel facilities are complete, comfortable, and clean. The deluxe suites are first-rate, featuring a separate walk-in closet and a living room, making them perfect for business接待. I will definitely stay here again.
