Perfect for family trips! The location is superb, making it easy and stress-free to travel with kids. Bringing our child to Beijing this time, choosing this hotel was such a smart decision. The location is definitely the biggest highlight – it's just a ten-minute walk to the subway station, and from there, it's only a few stops to Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the Temple of Heaven. It’s so convenient to switch lines. Traveling with a child was completely hassle-free. Plus, there are restaurants and convenience stores nearby! We booked a king room, and there was plenty of space. The hotel thoughtfully prepared children's slippers and toothbrushes, which was a lovely touch. Even though it's in a bustling area, the room's soundproofing was excellent, making it very quiet at night, and our whole family slept really well. We'll definitely consider staying here again on our next trip to Beijing!

I stayed at a Siheyuan (courtyard house) near Qianmen with my child and father, and it truly felt like quintessential Beijing! First off, the location is incredibly convenient. It's nestled in a hutong on Qianmen East Street, offering a quiet escape amidst the bustling city. A short walk around the corner takes you to Qianmen Pedestrian Street, and Dashilar is easily reachable on foot. Taking a taxi to Tiananmen or the Forbidden City costs just the minimum fare, which is a huge relief when traveling with elderly parents and children – no hassle at all. Secondly, the courtyard itself is absolutely charming. Stepping through the gate, you're greeted by a classic Old Beijing Siheyuan, with its grey bricks, dark tiles, and covered walkways, all centered around a large tree. In the morning, with the sun streaming into the courtyard, enjoying a bowl of congee feels incredibly leisurely. The room, though not large, is exquisitely designed, with comfortable bedding and a bathroom featuring a separate shower and toilet, complete with a smart toilet. Thirdly, the service was wonderfully attentive. The young lady at the front desk, seeing we had elderly parents and a child, proactively helped us with our luggage. Breakfast was abundant, and they even gave us a small gift when we checked out – excellent! Overall, if you want to experience an Old Beijing Siheyuan without compromising on comfort, this place is truly ideal. It's especially perfect for families traveling with parents and children, offering both charm and convenience.

This hotel offers great value for money. We booked a family room, and there was plenty of space for our family of three to sleep comfortably by combining the tatami mats. It has a courtyard, which was a nice spot to relax in the evening. It's about a kilometer from both Jinsong Station and Panjiayuan Station. The surrounding area is an older part of the city, quite peaceful with more elderly residents and no chaotic noise. Housekeeping was prompt every day, and they even provided special disposable slippers for our child. They also gave us a small gift when we checked out. Overall, it was a great stay, and we'd definitely consider coming back.

Apart from the renovation which we were told beforehand, the room we had was dark (probably because it was a windowless room), humid, aircon wasn’t strong but they provided a fan. Could smell urine even with the toilet seat covered, toilet door was closed, to a point that i was awaken by the foul smell. Had to spray perfume to have it barely covered. Ventilation was super bad. Cons aside, service was good, fridge in room had free drinks. Would recommend to book a window room if you had to even though friend that stayed in the window room said it was bad too. There’s a mall few minutes walk away which was a plus. Good view on the reception floor too.

I was transferred from another hotel, and I'm really satisfied. It was a perfect check-in experience from the start. The concierge proactively helped with luggage, and the room was fully equipped with toiletries. The breakfast, a mix of Western and Chinese, was fresh and plentiful. The gym and leisure areas were well-appointed, and the service was attentive and thoughtful. It felt like a refined and immersive vacation experience, definitely my top choice.

This hotel truly exceeded my expectations! Both the lobby and the outdoor courtyard are outstanding. It features a charming outdoor courtyard with a great atmosphere, complete with a brick wall perfect for photos that truly captures Beijing's character: a prominent 'Beijing' sign, traditional sand swallow kite decorations, and a fun 'Princess, get rich!' banner. It's a fantastic spot for pictures. The courtyard also has casual tables and chairs, perfect for resting after a long day of sightseeing. The greenery adds a touch of life, and there are photo opportunities everywhere. It's an ideal spot for anyone visiting Beijing and looking for great photo ops.

Great location, and an outstanding stay overall! The hotel's prime location made getting around and sightseeing incredibly convenient. Our room was spotlessly clean, the bedding was comfortable, and the excellent soundproofing ensured a peaceful night's sleep. The service was particularly heartwarming; staff were gentle, polite, and responsive to our needs, and the breakfast offered a rich variety of delicious options. Staying at such a comfortable hotel when tired from traveling significantly enhanced our trip's enjoyment. Extremely satisfied! This hotel is perfect for families with children. The environment is quiet and safe, and the room was spacious and immaculately clean. The hotel offers a full range of amenities, including a kids' play area that our little ones thoroughly enjoyed. The staff were exceptionally friendly towards children, provided clear directions for excursions, and parking was convenient. There were plenty of dining and shopping options nearby, making for a relaxed and pleasant stay throughout. A top choice for family travel. My overall experience this time was just okay, and I hope the hotel can improve on a few points: there were some missed spots in the room's cleaning, some facilities showed signs of age, and the soundproofing wasn't great, making it easy to be disturbed by outside noise at night, which affected my sleep quality.

Is this a state-run hotel? The decor is simple and understated, but the bedding and pillows were very comfortable. All the concierge staff were incredibly warm and attentive, and the location is excellent, perfect for out-of-town tourists like us who came specifically to visit popular attractions like the Forbidden City. The room with a courtyard was really convenient for drying clothes. The breakfast was plentiful, but as someone from Guangdong, I was shocked to see the chef tear open instant noodle packets to cook for everyone – do Beijingers typically eat instant noodles for breakfast? And definitely avoid the Da Hai Wan Zha Jiang Mian next door, it's overpriced and not tasty at all.

This hotel boasts an excellent location, just about a ten-minute walk from Tian Tan Dong Metro Station and the East Gate of the Temple of Heaven Park. There are plenty of Peking duck, hot pot, and snack options nearby. It's also super convenient to get to many attractions along the central axis by taxi. The hotel service is great, and the duplex rooms are perfect for families. Highly recommend!

You can tell the hotel is quite old. I specifically booked a room in the Regency Club, which I heard was renovated, and it indeed was. The room was very spacious and comfortable, clean and hygienic. The only minor issue was the vanity counter, which was a bit too narrow. Also, some of the light switches had poor contact, but that's something that can't really be helped. Everything else was great, the bed was comfortable, and the toiletries were Malin+Goetz.
