Away Bangkok Riverside Kene

Riverside
One of the biggest strengths of Away Bangkok Riverside is its spacious rooms, which are a rare find along Charoen Nakhon Road. If you’re looking for a place with larger-than-average accommodations, this hotel is a great choice. While there aren’t many shops nearby, there is a 7-Eleven just a 5-minute walk away on the main road, making it convenient for snacks, drinks, or essentials. The soi can be a bit dark at night, but it feels safe, and I appreciated that there were no stray dogs in the area. A major highlight of this hotel is the buffet breakfast. The variety is impressive, and what sets it apart is the live cooking station, where the chef can prepare fresh noodles or eggs to your preference—something you’d typically expect from a 4- or 5-star hotel. I truly enjoyed my breakfast experience here. Another great feature is the many photo-worthy spots throughout the hotel, perfect for capturing memories. Overall, Away Bangkok Riverside offers great value, especially for those who appreciate spacious rooms and a fantastic breakfast spread. A solid choice for a relaxing stay in Bangkok!

Has to help this hotel to clarify a bit The location of this hotel is amazing and convenient as transportation is excellent and you can choose the boat, BTS gold line to avoid the traffic jam. The boat can reach a lot of places. The electric plugs are also excellent as there are usb and multi-national plugs. The water pressure in toilet is also excellent with different modes. I have been to 30 countries with different hotels experience. This hotel security is great. The hygiene here is great but the ventilation in toilet has to be improved. And also the sound isolation.

I had a wonderful stay at The Quarter Chaophraya by UHG. The hotel is beautifully located near the Chao Phraya River with easy access to ICONSIAM, the BTS station, and ferry piers. It’s a perfect spot for both business and leisure travelers. The room was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, with a comfortable bed and a relaxing atmosphere. If you can, go for a river-view room — the sunrise and sunset views are stunning! The rooftop pool is absolutely amazing, offering a panoramic view of the river and the city skyline. The fitness center and sauna are also well-equipped and maintained. I also enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which offered a good variety of both Thai and international options. Staff were polite, professional, and always willing to help. Their hospitality truly made a difference. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay in Bangkok. I will definitely come back!

If you get a room with a river view on the Long side You will see a boat in the river. If you have a view of the river from another angle, there will be trees blocking the view. The hotel is next to the water in a deep alley. Suitable for quiet relaxation. No need to go anywhere.

The room is clean and hygienic, with a sofa, microwave and island. My room is right next to the viaduct. It's too noisy outside. The noise is a bit loud at night. It's all made by the modified motorcycles. It's not very sleepy. If it's on the other side, it should be much better.

Beautiful Hotel, great location, 200-300 metres from BTS station. Hotel was great if a little, dare I say ‘camp’ Pinks and Purples and ‘chintz’ everywhere. But as a solo traveller for one night it was good. The Receptionist/Manager was super helpful. Such a lovely happy fella. Free tea/coffee and soft drinks down in the lovely reception lounge, but none in the rooms?? Mini Bar yes, Kettle yes, but no Tea & Coffee. As a British guy, we crave that 1st cup of tea in a morning. In fact that is the only thing that stops me giving this Hotel 5 stars all round.. I did mention it to the super helpful chap at reception and he promised to look into it. But overall 4.8/5.
