The Path Siam

The location is convenient, tucked away in a quiet alley. There's a nice coffee shop downstairs, and it's very close to the National Stadium MRT station. It's newly renovated, reasonably priced, has a terrace, and spacious rooms. It's a great value, and the front desk staff are friendly and smiling. Perhaps because it's new, the operation can be a bit chaotic. The room I originally booked wasn't assigned, so I was given another room. Room cleanliness needs improvement. Upon entering, the floor was covered in hair, and it felt like it hadn't been vacuumed. The hair dryer in the room was old and out of place, which didn't match the new decor. The soap and shower gel dispensers were inconvenient to use. We suggest providing bottled hand soap and shower gel. The reusable rubber slippers provided in the room were stained and felt unhygienic. We suggest providing disposable slippers. The housekeeping staff needs to improve their personal hygiene; I often saw them walking around barefoot. They rarely smile, speak English, and sometimes they don't understand. Even using Google Translate Thai for them, they sometimes don't understand. The room's soundproofing was extremely poor. The neighboring room's door kept opening and closing at 3 or 4 a.m. every night, making a terribly loud noise. Though these are minor issues, they can be improved. The hotel is indeed new, conveniently located, and reasonably priced. I'd definitely consider staying there again next time I'm in Bangkok.
