One of the best B&B's we have stayed at!! I would go back in a heartbeat! Beautiful rooms, parking for your car , and so close to everything in town. We never had to park in busy Bar Harbor - we just walked everywhere from the inn! So many amenities - ice, water, glasses, snacks, fridge for your leftovers, FRESH breakfast everyday, espresso machine, fire pit, wonderful happy hour with blueberry margs - YUM! Sara the manager was so gracious and she did a watercolor instruction on the lovely porch one afternoon for our family. So fun! We came all the way from Seattle to see maine and acadia and would absolutely stay at Yellow House again : )

Sara and Patty were incredible hosts. The daily breakfast was both healthy and delicious. Our room was cozy and YH was a great home base for all our adventures. Sara’s restaurant recommendations were spot on!

This place is a GEM! It checks all of the boxes: Warm, lovely and comfortable accommodations, all at a perfect location in Bar Harbor. The house is gorgeous, decorated beautifully, and the front porch is an added bonus! My room (Malvern) and my niece's room (Linzee) were both beautiful - much better than the sterile hotel-type rooms. there is a pantry stocked with yummy snacks and the breakfast is delicious! AND - a happy hour of blueberry margaritas, wine and mocktails. On-site parking too. they also have a basket of yoga mats and backpacks that guests can borrow. I did use one and it came in quite handy. If you're debating where to stay in Bar Harbor, I highly recommend the Yellow House Inn!

The perfect place to stay in Bar Harbor, centrally located yet private. Being greeted by Patty who was very friendly, knowledgeable on things to see and do, also allowing us to check in early. The Inn was beautifully decorated and cared for. Sara, the innkeeper was the absolute best, very kind and thoughtful. We had amazing breakfasts every morning and happy hour every afternoon! We also did the paint and peddle with Sara who is a talented artist. I highly recommend the Yellow House Inn!

Excellent experience, friendly and welcoming staff, great location near Main Street in Bar Harbor, lots of shopping and restaurant options, we chose a first floor room with seating outside on the wrap around porch, plenty of seating options, Happy Hour every afternoon with blueberry margaritas and wines, nice simple breakfast choices, will stay here again on our next visit to the area.

Loved this property! The management were personable and accommodating! Very unique Bed, Breakfast and Happy Hour! Our room was spacious with a very comfortable King Bed, private bath, sofa, 2 luggage racks, table, chairs and a big closet. The amenities included a big breakfast and a fun Happy Hour every day! There is a community refrigerator. Will definitely stay here again!

The location is fantastic. You do not need a car to walk to all the shops and restaurants in Bar Harbor. Sitting on the porch gazing onto the beatiful yard with a cool drink in the afternoon is a relaxing break.

What a fantastic place to stay while visiting Bar Harbor and Acadia! We are early morning hikers and so appreciated the innkeeper having breakfast and snack items at the ready for our early departure. It was so enjoyable to have a late afternoon happy hour to unwind from a long day of hiking. The Yellow House Inn is in a perfect location - close to downtown Bar Harbor, but tucked away from the crowds. Our room was spacious and well appointed. The grounds are gorgeous and the front porch is perfect for relaxing. We would definitely stay here again!
