"The hotel wasn't bad, but it was a bit far from the city center, which made dining slightly inconvenient. Also, although we clearly booked a King Bed Room, we were assigned to an annex building instead of the main building without any prior explanation, so we could only see the parking lot instead of the beach. I'm not sure if it's Trip.com's fault or the hotel's, but if they are going to assign rooms to the annex like this, they should definitely specify it when selling the room."

"We spent three days in June at the Inn, staying in the first floor room. The room was amazing. We loved the two fire places and the separate sitting area. The view of the water was so nice in the morning having our coffee. Matt and Kristi were great and knowledgeable hosts, giving us great restaurant tips and advice on navigating parking and Acadia National Park trails. The breakfasts were delicious and a great way to fuel up before the day. One added bonus was the discovery of the sandbar right outside of the Inn, which, at low tide, allows you to walk over to Bar Island. The location of the Inn was ideal for being able to easily walk into Bar Harbor. We are already planning our return trip. Thank you for the hospitality!"
