Oslob Hotels with Bars

Oslob seafari resort is an outstanding but very affordable hotel located in the south part of Cebu (Oslob) in the Philippines. You can perfectly plan to stay one or two nights of your holidays in this place to enjoy all the landmarks and activities around the hotel. The Whaleshark watching activity is really close, 5 minutes by motorcycle. The staff are friendly and rooms have basic amenities including air conditioning, free wifi, toiletries, towels, toothbrush, and complimentary water. The hotel has three outdoor swimming pools with great views to sea. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants, cafes and bars within 10 min or less walking distance.

The Island Front Resort is highly recommended if you are planning on staying in the Oslob area and/or are planning on seeing the whale sharks there. The Island Front Resort rooms are pretty basic, but very clean and located right on the water. It was definitely a very nice treat to eat dinner and breakfast facing the clear blue ocean and Sumilon Island, which is another tourist attraction. The staff are very friendly and helpful. As a matter of fact, if you plan on going to see the whale sharks, the staff will arrange transportation for you (at a very fair price) and even fast track you on the boat line with a complimentary guide, which will save you time and eliminate some confusion when you get there. The food (both the dinner and complimentary breakfast) was very good and priced very reasonably. I was hoping for just a clean basic room to sleep in (which I did get), but the good and fairly priced food and being fast tracked on the whale shark line were definitely nice surprise bonuses!! 😊

Went to Oslob to swim with the whale sharks. Two families, total 9 pax. Needed a place to stay for the night, so we could start early at the whale place the Next morning. This place is perfect. Small but nice. Clean and easy parking in front. 2 minute walk to the whale place. Supervisor Mr. Ken was super service minded. Arranged so instead of queing at 04:00 in the morning, and wait for 4-5hours, he booked us a swimming at 07:00. Could not be better. Many thanks Mr Ken. Saved us some sleep and time in que. Next door is a restaurant. I really recommend Way Shack if you want a good experience of the whale shark swimming.

A pleasant stay. The room was small and the bathroom a bit awkward and narrow. Bed fairly comfortable and we had an awesome ocean view.. Breakfast was adequate without being great. Staff were kind and helpful though young and a bit inexperienced. The hotel is about 10 mins on tricycle from the town proper, so you may want to find something closer in. Overall a satisfying stay.

We stayed at Ging Ging Hotel and Resort during our weekend Round South Trip. It is a great place to stay especially when you are with your kids and the while family. 🙋‍♀️ ACCOMMODATING & FRIENDLY STAFF Their staff has been so accommodating and friendly. From the time we arrived until we left. They let us stay even we arrived earlier than the check in time. They let us place our food in the Bar's freezer for free. Aside from that, they are very responsive in messenger whenever we have some queries. 🛏️ ROOM IS CLEAN AND A COMFORTABLE TO STAY We stayed in different rooms since there are 14 of us. And yet, all rooms are clean and enough to accommodate us all. There is a TV, a little balcony and a hot & cold shower. In our room, we have a mini ref too. ⛱️ TWO SWIMMING POOLS & A BEACH We all enjoyed a lot especially the kids because we were able to swim all we want. There are 2 swimming pools on each side. Plus the beach. You can use the pool from 8AM to 9PM. 🥂 BAR FOR FOOD & DRINKS If you don't bring foods and won't like cooking, they have a bar where you can order from. And the rooms come with free breakfast too in the bar. We had our breakfast late so we had few options with the menu. 🏞️ AMAZING VIEW The view is amazing and relaxing. They have a Rooftop where you can stay until 9PM. 🛣️ACCESSIBLE AND EASY TO LOCATE The resort is just along the National road and very easy to locate. It is close to Gaisano Grand and Cuartel of Oslob. Overall, we had a great and fun stay at Ging Ging Hotel & Resort. It is very recommendable especially if you want some quiet and relaxing place. You can bring your own food and cook there for a fee.

The resort is topnotch! Very nice people that run the place! Clean rooms and pool and the serice is also very good! 5 minute drive with the tricycles to the mall/towns. The workers will also help you with the toursaround cebu! Fixing the guides and everything. 10/10

The rooms were good. Nice design, spacious especially at the front to sit and relax outside. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Limited food and drinks can be purchased from reception. Wifi was ok. Variable at times but worked. My only complaint would be the toilet inside the bathroom. The flush was broken so needed manual flushing with a bucket. There were a couple of toilets and showers in public areas outside that worked perfectly fine. Just disappointing the room one did not! The location was good as short walk to a few shops and main road and town centre. For us this was convenient to stay as after we went to do whale shark swimming and then proceeded next day to Kawasan Falls.

Clean, comfortable, air conditioned units behind a bakery/coffee shop about 1km from the whale shark area. Ceres buses go by outside, so you can be dropped off right in front on the main road. Fin looks after anything you need. For a small fee, he'll take you down to the whale shark experience at the right time (i.e. very early) to check in and then bring you back for a bit more sleep before going back to do the swim. The little bakery has lots of very cheap rolls and doughnuts, etc, as well as drinks. Bad for your waistline to stay there too long!

One word to describe Bluewater Sumilon Island would be PARADISE! We were greeted by a mild-mannered receptionist (if i remember it right, Kevin) before we hopped on the boat. Sit on the first row, if you wish to enjoy the water splashes. We didn't mind as we were still wearing our swimmers from our whaleshark experience. We got there about 1pm, the room was ready about 3pm, but no trouble, because we enjoyed alone time in the infinity pool, took a nap on the daybeds, enjoyed a ”must order” halo halo on a buko, and fruit smoothies! What makes this place awesome is the staff, from the pool guy who picks up every leaf falling on the water, to the porters who helped our bags, to the friendly people at the reception and the dining area, even the nice ladies at the Amuma lounge. William's smile and attentive service is really heart warming. I'm not surprised why he's popular! Security is spot on! My husband flew a drone in front of our room and was told off 10 seconds later, which we are ok to abide. When snorkelling, I highly recommend getting a guide to the marine sanctuary. It's so worth it! It's good that the guides protect the sanctuary. There are only areas where you can snorkel, but plenty of fish, corals and clown fish. We stayed in premier deluxe room, which was very spacious, closest to the sandbar and best spot to watch the sunrise. Buffet dinner and breakfast are really good with plenty of options. Highly recommend, but would stay for more than 1 night next time.
