"Peerless Hotel in Durgapur used to be a good place to stay, but the quality and service have deteriorated significantly. The rooms are poorly maintained, the beds are small, and the AC makes more noise than it provides cooling. The charges are far higher than the level of service offered. Breakfast is just okay, but dinner has become quite bad — strange food combinations, limited buffet spread, and a menu that makes little sense. You’ll often find plain rice, dal, and a basic veg fry served alongside Chinese fish or chicken, which feels odd and unplanned. If the hotel is hosting a wedding, their entire attention shifts to the wedding guests, and regular guests are barely cared for. The rooms feel stingy and very basic, yet the pricing is on the higher side. Overall, the experience no longer justifies the cost, and the hotel needs serious improvement."
