"The Barking Travelodge itself was clean and the staff welcoming and engaging. Barking itself however, resembles a third world country. It was a filthy place and I would not advise anyone to eat out there. Maccies was about the limit I would risk. But a travelodge handy for the station with good rail links to London but be alert and aware of your surroundings once outside of the hotel. Stay safe. "

It was unfortunately for a funeral at a nearby location , however the staff could not do enough for us and were exemplary in all areas, they were extremely caring and understanding even when the shift changed and different people came on board, the attitude and customer service did not falter, Thank you !!"

"Avoid at all costs!!! The room is tiny (deluxe twin) , the sheets and towels unwashed and stained. Room uncleaned. Bathroom unsanitary with the most disgusting sewage smell. When I went to reception to complain, the man was not sorry , did not want to help ,said there were no other rooms and we were to leave!!!! I am still waiting for my refund!!! The hotel is more of a hostel. The whole place is dirty."
