Best Hotels near Masjid Baitul Makmur, Batam

Staff is very friendly. They gave us a connecting room even though we only booked a normal room. Hotel is quite old, and some of the facilities are quite worn out. But overall is still good for this price point. Location is good too. Walked straight out and you can locate numerous restaurants.

Room is very clean and spacious. Service is great too. Realised the kettle is not working well, requested for it to be changed and it was quick response. Had the complimentary shuttle service at 11am and 5pm to Nagoya Hill Shopping centre and Grand Batam Mall. There is only indomart nearby. You have to take grab out but that’s not an issue as it’s very cheap. But sad to say that the lounge and rooftop bar are very quiet. No one at all. Other than that, experience there was awesome!

I visit Batam almost every week and this is my favorite hotel! Since July 22, I estimate I have stayed 40-50 nights in the past 11 months. On paper, this is a 3 star hotel. But the rooms and facilities feel like 4 stars, and the staff is 5 stars. A big Thank You! to all the staff who made my stay enjoyable. To Mugi, and the rest of the Reception staff, thank you for always being cheerful and helpful. Thank you the restaurant staff who are always helpful, even in the face of my unusual requests. And to the always smiling lady who collects laundry who makes always takes that extra step in effort and service. What is great: The rooms are largish and clean. The decor is bright and cheery. The bed, pillows and bolsters are the best in Batam. I get the best night's sleep here! The shower has good pressure and the water is nice and hot. And again, the staff is FANTASTIC! What is no so great: The breakfast is average. The WiFi has improved and is fast but sometimes there are outages. But this may be more of a Batam thing than a Hotel thing. What you may think is bad but is not really: The location. There are no shopping centers or shops nearby that you can easily walk to. But the location is actually pretty ok. Because it is near Nagoya, you can usually get a Grab in less than 5 minutes. And Grab is pretty affordable in Batam. The hotel is about 10 minutes from Harbour Bay and 15 minutes from Batam Center. It is 10 minutes from Nagoya hill and 15 minutes from Grand Batam. Plus, the hotel sits on a hill. From the top floor bistro, you can see the sea (and Singapore) 270 degrees around! Wonderful hotel with good delicious food, very clean and they even go extra miles to make decorations for our special day. Not forgetting truly enjoyed their 24hrs in room massage service. Will certainly come again and well recommended to all.

Location is convenient close to Batam ferry Center terminal only 10 minutes time by taxi to hotel and 20minutes from hotel to airport ! Hotel staff is helpful. However, Inside guest room is clean but too dark and the room PLUG for my I phone 14 does not fit! Fortunately I have power bank to cover whole night. Suggest to improve ASAP for guest convenience. Thank you. Overall, The good room rate is there without further complaint and will come back for my next visit.

Very efficient Check-in and Check-out as the items inside the fridge are complimentary. The staff at the Oriental resto for b'fast and the x'mas dinner were pretty attentive and we also had a pleasant experience with their security and hk staff. Grab can drop-off at the lobby but you have to 'grab' one from outside the main road at the vehicle exit point of the hotel driveway. B'fast items, although in variety are not of quality standards as compared to hotels in Thailand, which is inclusive in the room pricing. Same for their X'mas Dinner! Good location, and to Grand Batam Mall is only about S$2.50 where you can cross the road to A2 foodcourt and BCS mall. Taxi from Batam Center to hotel is standard at 70K IDR if you don't want to lug your bags to the roundabout outside which is a distance away. Overall, a pleasant stay!

Sahid Batam Center Hotel & Convention is having a good advantage on location, located in the heart of Batam Center, where luxury and homey abound. It is an old hotel, but it is well maintained and it is connected to a modern life style, near local culinary and having a good entertainment with roof top bar. The staffs are giving a good hospitality and helpful. Sahid Batam Center hotel could fit for business and personal use. Over all, Sahid Batam Center Hotel & Convention is a good hotel to stay. Enjoy!

Very Nice place, unique luxury hotel concept compared to any other hotel here in Batam, its a good room size too. The staff are very attentive with quite a good customer service training.I Had a very good relax experience, Eska is known for their signature massage.. However, I understand the cancellation policy, as I request for extending my 2nd day, since i wasnt able to travel on the 1st day due to medical issue..Brought the doctors prescription with me, prove that im not fit to travel..it is very Disappointing that the Management is ”not considerate enough to at least grant to extend my 2nd day for me to have a enough rest and recover. After all, 2 Nights stay is what i payed for as i booked it on line. They insist that they are fully booked for the day and the coming week, thats why not possible to extend One more day...To my surprise , the occupancy of table during dinner is only ME””.. and around 4 to 6 table the next day during buffet breakfast.. No matter how beautiful and luxurious your hotel premises can be..if your Management is Poor and inconsiderate, and not flexible enough to handle certain situation..Hotel Guest will check out feeling sick and hopeless”!

Great location with friendly staff ensuring your room is clean. Keep up the good work! A stone throw away winin walking distance from many nice eating places. Hotel also offer an optional breakfast which you could opt in if you need a quick bite to start your day. A friend of mine would always choose to stay at Nagoya Mansion when he is in Batam. Overall, a good place to stay and charge up before the next day.

AP Premier is one of the oldest hotel in Batam Indonesia and was known as Novotel in the past. The hotel was one of the top grade hotels in Batam when I stayed there 20+ years ago (yr 2001). Although there are many hotel options now days in batam but AP Premier is still my favorite place to stay when visiting batam for business trip recently. The hotel location is good to me. It is very near to ferry terminal, Habourbay (in fact within walking distance) and Nagoya, the old town center where most of the tourists from Singapore would like to visit. The hotel public area is quite spacious. The breakfast selection was great. Room is clean and comfortable to stay. Hotel service is awesome especially the front desk team like Miss Wani and Mr Dona are exceptionally helpful.
