Beach Hotels in Caloundra

Airbnb at hotel prices. Apartment complex mixed with permanent residents. A/C in the bedrooms only. No insect screens on any of the doors or windows. Internet was constantly dropping out until it didn’t work at all. Called reception & was instructed to call the internet service provider myself and log a job, earliest appointment day before I checking out. View was obstructed with large & noisy earthmoving equipment whom were completely reconstructing the rock wall ocean front directly in front of the hotel/airbnb. Dated building with corrosion evident everywhere. Cheap furnishings and appliances, fridge door would not shut properly and a dishwasher was was faulty. Would not consider again.

The 1 bedroom apartment we booked last minute had everything and more that we needed, a spa bath was an added bonus. Room was clean and large, highly recommend these apartments for a couple get away or family holiday.

We only stayed one night, but overall we were satisfied. The landlady was incredibly kind and very helpful. She told us to just ask if we needed anything. Our room was clean and tidy, and various appliances, such as a kettle, were provided. Each unit had its own parking space. The Wi-Fi signal was reasonably good and the speed was adequate. What bothered us were the thin walls, which made everything very noisy, and the street noise was clearly audible in the room! Furthermore, the beds were simply too soft; a restful sleep was impossible!

This motel is located in a great location being close to most things and with the bus service in the area you can get anywhere on the coast. Clean and quiet, this make this a great place to stay.
