"The hotel itself is quite lovely and stylish, very hip boutique vibe.
The location is a bit of a walk to the old town, half an hour maybe, but its along the lovely beach so we enjoyed it. Nice view on to the square.
Would have liked for there to have been some tea and coffee making facilities in the room
One thing we strongly disliked was the fact that the toilet and shower were only separated from the room by translucent plastic walls. Even though I was with a close friend the transparency and complete lack of sound proofing on the toilet was not something I enjoyed"

"This time, I stayed with a friend for 2 days and 1 nights. I stayed on Saturday, but I went wrong to make sure I was in time for check-in on weekdays, and when I arrived, the front desk was over. Naturally, there was no one at the front desk and I was quite impatient, but if I was patiently calling the emergency contact information placed at the front desk, the gentle owner answered the phone. I was told the room number and managed to stay in the room. I was very grateful that I could check my money and passport the next day. We can't speak Spanish fluently, but the owner understood what we wanted to say and responded very kindly. I am very grateful. The room was clean and comfortable to spend the night. There are many restaurants and bars nearby, so I don't think you will have any trouble eating. I would like to take care of you again."

GGuest UserI stayed in a ”city view” room during my solo trip through the Basque region and it was such a comfortable room I forgot about not having sea view.
Though I do recommend to go to the cafe to have the beachside experience if you get the city view room because it overlooks a construction site on the back street.
The hotel was an easy 15min walk with my heavy suitcase from the intercity bus center, just beside the beach. The room was squeaky clean with a large bathtub, and the bed so comfortable I could not get up to go see the sunset! Also helpful kind staff and great location for getting around the city on foot or by bus. I went to the Chillida Leku museum it was 30min by bus no25.
Highly recommend!

The exterior looks old, but the interior is very nice and clean.
The bed was fluffy and I slept well.
There's a supermarket nearby, so you can easily stock up if you need something.
The breakfast selection isn't that extensive, but it was more than adequate. And it was very delicious.
I'd love to stay here again the next time I visit San Sebastian.

Great location walking distance to the beach and city. Excellent services at reception and morning breakfast. Easy access to gym and swimming pool.

It’s 25 min walk to the Centro but there is a bus for two euro and tax 9 euro, in the evening it’s hard te get a taxi and find the bus. WE had to walk back twice.
The door locks make a very hard nice which awakes you in the morning

GGuest UserEverything was perfect. The hotel is a bit old and maybe doesn't deserve 4 stars. But we know that in Spain hotel stars are a bit more overrated than in France.
The only problem is that one room wasn't ready when we arrived because our request for a large bed for the 2 rooms had not been taken into account. But nothing serious, our request was satisfied later. But for a 4 star...
The setting is idyllic...

AAnonymous UserThe room was quite bad. Despite booking a classic room, we were given a basic one, which was smaller. The cleanliness could be better, as there was hair in the sink when we arrived. The ceiling, held up with tape, was quite shoddy. The facilities could use some updating.
Regarding the service, it was excellent. We had a problem because the door kept opening on its own without a key. One of the cleaning and maintenance staff helped us, and we managed to get it locked so that the card was required to open it.
The location was perfect.

PPablo FerraboneFriendly staff, outside season they might get you in early if possible. Also, being just a few meters away from the beach is priceless. Don't skip on waking up super early to see sunrise on the beach.
Breakfast is good by could improve a little bit, but isn't hotel's main service, so is understandable.
I'd recommend it for someone that wants to be centric but not in the main busy area
